Great hotel and people. The teenage boy is genuine, helpful and nice. If you go to the blue city stay here.

The bed sheets were crumpled, we even wondered if anyone had ever slept on them.
Looks like the doors (bedroom, toilet) are made of cardboard. You can hear absolutely everything from all sides.

This place is a riad. It is very quaint and quirky. Lots of different touches that made it interesting. I found the staff helpful and friendly.

Staff is too greedy and impolite, condition inside leaves quite much to be desired. Don't recommend to stay here. There are much better options in Chefchaouen.

I'm extremely upset with the service I've received in dar mounir, place was extremely dirty and smelly, we had to complain — room was cleaned next day, shortly after that all the lights / electricity blew up in our apartment. We've been moved to smaller room, which again was not clean. After complaining to the owner, he would not offer us compensation for staying in smaller place, dirtiness, wasting our time once waiting for the electricity problem to be sort out, and in the end, having to move our belongings with the iPhone torches. I had to sleep with 2 children in a small double bed as we couldn't fit extra bed in the replacement room. We have advised the owner that we will be writing a negative review of our stay. When we arrived back home I was greeted with the email from the booking agent that we have never arrived at the dar mounir! (I wonder if that was an attempt to block us from leaving negative feedback? ) More time wasted having to scan and email the receipt of payment (which they didn't want to issue in the first place). Very upsetting experience.

Finding the Riad was incredibly difficult. Although someone was sent for us, it took over an hour to reach it. Also, I told the owner we would check out at noon, what he didn't tell me was that if we wanted to check out earlier we would not be able to. We waited over an hour for someone to come so that we could pay and leave, sitting with our luggage wasting our time. We checked out earlier because the Riad was so far from the square we didn't want to try walking to it again. Too far from the square! Had we known this, we would have paid the day before. The manager seemed to think it was our fault that no one was at the Riad to take our money and check us out.

Nice little spot very close to the central square. Staff was great and room was nice. Hot water went out for a bit one night but all in all for the price and location highly recommended. Breakfast on the roof or at their restaurant in the square!

Excellent accommodation in the Medina of Chefchaouen. Employees and owners, very friendly. Highly recommended place. Quiet and nice.
