Our group of four booked a one hour quad ride at 6:00 PM at Riad Oriental, Once it got dark, none of the quads had working lights not even the guide’s! This was incredibly dangerous. We were driving through high mountains with no guardrails, completely unable to see the road ahead.
I had to drive with one hand while using my phone’s flashlight in the other, just so my sister and aunts behind me could see something and avoid falling off the cliff. The guide couldn’t fix the lights and kept saying, “We’ll be there in 10 minutes, ” which was not true, the ride lasted almost two hours in total darkness.
We eventually stopped and demanded to be picked up immediately because we no longer felt safe or trusted the guide. When we asked him to call the reception, he hesitated, so I had to call myself. The staff’s response was shocking they told us we chose to ride later, even though they themselves recommended 6:00 PM as a good time. If we had known the quads had no lights, we would never have booked.
After explaining everything, the man at the reception told us he had spoken to his boss. Despite understanding the situation, the boss insisted that we still had to pay for 45 minutes of the ride. We completely disagreed. It seems the boss values money more than guests’ safety, which is very disappointing. We also asked for the owner’s contact information but were told we couldn’t have it. We felt unheard and not respected by the management.
This was a serious safety risk.

Raid oriental is the place to be! Verify quiet and beautiful places with many activities! The staff if very friendly and helpful! If you’re looking for a motorcycle trip through the montage, this is the place! 👍

People are so nice, area is quiet, beautiful surroundings, food is great, great activities: horse riding, quad, archery. Highly recommend. Room are simple but comfortable.
