Meknes-Tafilalet Hotels

We just stayed at this beautiful place after our desert trip. It was so fun the food was amazing and we loved Khalid. Such a fun guy with a great personality to match.

It was the first time we went to this hotel and I am pretty sure we will repeat. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. They have enough power to use a heater and a hair dryer.

Beautiful place, very relaxing, clean and very friendly welcoming staff.
Definitely will be back and highly recommend.

My family and I stayed here for 2 nights, and the staff were amazing. Ibrahim made sure we had everything we needed, Farid was the best.

Very nice stay! Unobtrusive service. They took me by car to the bus station for free!

We stayed there for just one night and I have to say Ibrahim was very friendly and helpful e even come to find us when we got lost. He even help with me with a flat tyre the man is amazing.

This is truly a wonderful place to experience the desert.

Best part of our trip! The tents are so comfortable and warm, the staff was super attentive and fun, the place is dreamy and have great experiences available.

Hassan and is family are very welcoming, very good people. All the place was very well arranged, there was hot water, the rooms are comfortable, bathroom and toilet very clean.

We stay at Nomad Bivouac, next Mezourga just one night.

Best hotel to go in Merzouga. Rooms are very comfortable with both ac and heating. Amazing pool, very cold in winter, but ideal as ice bath.

It’s was a very nice hotel we feel like in home with very beautiful views to the dunes with the best food in morocco.
Thank you so much for everything.

This is a very special and beautiful place, very close to the dunes. You can find here many touristic activities and also service is very top quality. The owner is extremely kind and social person.

We had the most amazing time spending our two nights in a tent. The beds were super comfortable, everything was clean and the food for dinner and breakfast was delicious!

Very nice welcome, to an absolutely charming Khasbah. The owner (Hassan) and nephew are proud to have you as their guest and most flexible in making you feel at home.

Although we were happy with all the hotels on our week long trip, all 3 of us agreed this was our favourite… nice decor, v relaxing place to stay with friendly staff who spent hours chatting with us

Considering the location on the edge of the Sahara desert I would think it is about as good as accommodations as you can find. The grounds and pool were pretty but not perfect. The food was mediocre.

We did not stay here but we stopped for lunch. We sat in their oriental restaurant, the staff was very kind to change the menu as per our vegetarian wishes.

Of the three riads we've stayed at in Morocco this one was the most authentic.

Beautiful Riad in the heart of Meknes Medina. We booked through their website and it was perfect. We were kindly welcomed by Amina, who took care of us that evening.

A lovely traditional Riad with tiled walls etc. Nice room with good hot shower and heater +aircon. Helpful and kind host Hassan took us to have a good harira soup and helped us with directions.

I had a great experience. The room was very large, and a bit dated. The breakfast is incredible. The service provided by the staff is also exceptional.

Absolute gem! The friendliest staff, spotless clean rooms, great shower and cozy courtyard. Breakfast was also super and refreshingly a little different than other hotel breakfasts we had.

Riad Zidania is the best of my two weeks traveling in Morocco!
Friendly staff amazing rooms. We were traveling with another couple and we shared a large semi private courtyard.

An interesting mix of a traditional Riad and hotel. The common areas feel like a historic Riad, with beautiful decor and furnishings, but the rooms feel like a mid-range western hotel.

I stayed for two nights with my family at the desert camp “The Desert Palace” in the Sahara Desert, in the Merzouga area, and we all had a really great experience.

We've been all over Morocco and seen many beautiful places, but the Desert Palace surely is one of the highlights of our trip.

Fantastic time — highly recommended!
We had an absolutely fantastic time at Camel House and on the tour.

We had an amazing stay at Riad camels house in Merzouga, easily one of the best and most beautiful riads we stayed in during our Vocation in Merzouga.

We really enjoyed our stay! The camp included all the basic amenities required for your stay in the desert (dinner, breakfast, showers).

The place is worth the detour. Very nice and safe place. Clean tents and sheets. We can find everything we need in tents: washroom, shower, Wi-Fi, Mustapha was a great person very helpful.

A great hotel in a great location for erg Chebbi dunes. The staff are very friendly and the owner Ali is a great man.

We had such a great time at Hotel Nomad Palace on the week of December 25, 2025!

Really nice hotel. Right on the border to the desert. Rooms are neat, nothing fancy but all you need is there.

My stay at Riad Ali was amazing. Mohammad was very welcoming and kind, and made sure I enjoyed every aspect of my stay. The rooms are air conditioned to your liking and very clean.

We’re so glad we stayed at Khamlia Desert Bed & Breakfast, this family run accommodation was more than we were expecting.

This is the warmest place I have ever stayed in. Everyone is very warm, and everything is like a family. Welcome to come!

Great little hotel with such great hospitality. They insisted on providing us breakfast even though we were leaving early in the morning.

My wife and I agree that staying at Dar Zerhoune gave us a real sense of life in a small city, family life, and the life of a woman in Morocco.

Beautifully decorated and very central Riad. Comfortable bed, good plumbing with plenty of hot water and a very good breakfast with table service. Morocco at its finest.

This is a charming Riad in a cool little lane way of Meknes. A great location to explore this great little town.

Very hard to find parking, I find it a bit scary, the narrow and a little dark streets 😕. But the people all around are really very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful Riad in the Medina but still quite enough for a good night sleep. Thanks a lot for an amazing stay. People are super welcoming and we were served an amazing breakfast.

Breakfast is excellent, very nice staff.
Public Parking in front to pay in advance 20 drh per day. Compared to dutch prices 🤯 we can live with this just fine.

The rooms are beautiful and each is unique. Beautiful setting, wonderful food, lovely pool and Marcos is an amazing host! He kept us all laughing and happy to be there.
