— behaviour of the staff, especially the persons at the reception desk
— indoor swimming pool infested with chlorine

Great resort in the middle of the desert. Everything you could ask for.

This is paradise on the Desert. An amazing place. Superb service staff best hotel in my trip trough out Morroco by far.

I do not recommend this place because very bad reception a person named Khadija and not good quality and especially that we come at night we are attacked by an army of mosquitoes very very fierce more I saw one evening in the public bathroom on one of the Scorpio sink I was complaining at the front desk and was told that here it was desert and that it was not a Tangier hotel etc etc etc.

All that can be expected deu 5 star, the rooms are beautiful! the bungalows hermosisimos! very good service, food!

Great building, nice decoration, excellent food.

The room smelled terrible. We opened the window but that didn’t help. The facilities and food were good but the room was so awful, we couldn’t wait to leave. Also the beds are incredibly hard.

Comfortable Moroccan style. Nice pool. Obtuse lighting. Unable to boil water in room for coffee. Staff slightly more friendly than Fes or Casablanca. English is a challange.

Fantastic hotel in the desert, close to the city. The hotel has two swimming pools, a bar to drink and a good quality buffet restaurant. The rooms are very large and Moroque style.

I visited it on an excursion it was awesome as in a thousand and one night. Very beautiful traditional and romantic décor. There is also a hot tub and I really liked their traditional steam room. Don't miss the visit of the rally entourages and the sunset in Merzouga by climbing on the camels present on the places where we tasted their delicious madfouna sitting by a large flame. Preferably to visit in spring.

It is a very good place for a new experience in the desert, you can do excursions. But just by the way, no more than a night or two.

Stopped only for lunch and a break on a long journey, but the hotel was great. Lovely ambience and decor, the outdoor seating was beautiful but hot. The traditional welcome with music makes you feel great, and the staff in traditional garb are only too happy to pose for pics. Food was good, large portions, could easily be shared between two. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Spectacular! Spacious rooms with indoor and outdoor swimming pool. It has a spa and gym. Also a mini artificial turf soccer field. The buffet is ample and varied with typical dishes of the country as well as Mediterranean, like the paella.
The store doesn't have a lot of appeal.
In addition to the rooms they also have spectacular bungalows!

Very bad experience o weird as I was dealing with a receptionist who would take care of getting my girls out of the pool seeing me not arriving and who did them and who made them come out by a server is the server that had them supported and so it goes me it scared me and I really really advise anyone to go to this hotel you have 5 km away a hotel called the Tizimi where the desert hotel that are gorgeous.

Excellent hotel in Arfoud a few km from the dunes of Ergg Chebi and close to great places. Quality service and Restaurant. Swimming pool, indoor pool and spa.

This hotel is just a haven of peace. Nice decor a welcoming staff and varied meals and good.

It was a great experience. I even purchased a North Face rain jacket with Xaluca on it which will be well used and fond memories. Thank you to all the staff for excellent service.

It is a three star hotel in regular city. Earn one more star from me because the location is in dessert area.

Fantastic kasbah (small castel) hotel with local colour. Berber decoration and furniture of the rooms, giving convenience and warmth. Nice gardens, pool, salons. What I disliked was the food. Despite a big variety of choice on the breakfast as well as the dinner buffet, nothing was really tasty for me… Yet, a nice experience as a whole!

The atmosphere is fantastic and the food was great. The pool area is a mini oasis. My only complaint is that there were no instructions for the safe. They use a 3 digit code instead of 4. Everyone in our party had to call the front desk for help.

Hotel that does not conform to the photos, no door to the toilet, problem of electricity, when you turn off the light the cell phones turn off too.
We made the remark at the reception they said someone will come and fix it, no one came.

Hotelazo, both in the decoration, level of the rooms, welcome and farewell of the staff, variety of food in the restaurant, many services … Highly recommended to tour Quads in the dunes behind the hotel, if it is possible to coincide with the sunset to return to the hotel at night.

The reference hotel in southern Morocco. Meeting point for 4x4 fans and motorbikes. Great services and equipment. Starting point for many excursions.

Gorgeous! Just a beautiful suite! The staff welcomes the travelers with mint tea and cookies and music. The rooms are rustic-chic and are just great! There are no robes and no slippers in the rooms which to me matters. But other than that is a great place to spend some time. I was there in the winter, if you tell the staff to turn on the heater before you arrive you will find a mildly warm room. If not it will be cold and it will take a while to warm up!

Amazing room, food and service, the place is very beautiful, a incredible place to spend new year. Well worth it. If an improvement could be made, showers run a bit hot then cold rather than at a constant temperature.

A Kasbah of excellent quality with a very pleasant service. A must-have place to go to the desert.

A bad simulation of what one might mistake as oriental, if you don't really have real interest in foreign culture. You are greeted by staff in costumes with swords that are supposed to look authentic, everything looks like a show. Dinner and breakfast were a real disappointment with no local cuisine or anything that has some local flavors. Just as an example: dinner buffet had Paella and Spaghetti with tomato sauce (among other dishes). Rooms are okay though, the outside pool is nice, and we had a great Jakuzzi on our room. We did not take part in the activities offered by this place, though. These might be really good and might explain the overall good rating. Book this place if you want resort feeling.

Fantastic place to go in Marocco, specially if you want to play in Dr Chebbi desert.

Double room was really nice. Pool is refreshing in the hot weather. Bar service by pool was slow to null around 7pm. Buffet dinner was almost above average if not for very bland — I like spicy food. Otherwise, food was good and service was good. I would return for another visit.

An oasis in the middle of the Moroccan Sahara. Everything from check in to checkout was perfect. The breakfast and lunch were very satisfying. The pool depth is up to 210cm. For those seeking something other than Merzouga in this part of the world.
