Reviews of Maison Merzouga Guest House
Very nice hotel. We feel very hommy in there. The rooms are spacious, hot water, good condition air con system. The swimming pool is of a good size and perfect for a 2 pm sunbath. The owner is very arranging, flexible and generous. He helped us organising the camel desert tour which was definitely worth it, and one of the biggest highlights of my stay in Morocco.

To the hotel: Very clean, well laid out with pool. Lush and traditional food — was good. Spacious room with fridge. Friendly owners — speak tlw. German and definitely good English, but a bit intrusive when selling tours (perhaps also because off-season and necessarily wanted to do business, perhaps also because of its nature — but just business-ready). The organization and tips were good.
To the tours: Buggy tour with guide — was an absolute dream, hard to beat desert action. Camel tour at sunset was great (especially for the children an incredible experience). Morning tour "around the Sahara" was nice (but just around the Sahara — and not in it — we wouldn't have experienced that if we hadn't asked for it) — but it was interesting, as you also get to know the real Merzouga and Sahara (we had sunrise, nomadic life, fossil search, oasis visit — I also borrowed a snowboard, everything is possible here :-) )
