Riad Marwa Marrakech

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Riad Marwa Marrakech. We booked our holiday through EasyJet Holidays, and choosing Riad Marwa was one of the best decisions we made. As a family of five, it’s not always easy to find somewhere that makes everyone feel comfortable, but from the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home.
Nordine and Hassan were exceptional hosts. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Their local recommendations, genuine hospitality, and willingness to go the extra mile made our stay even more enjoyable.
The riad itself is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and full of authentic Moroccan charm. The location is perfect for exploring Marrakech and the Medina, while still being a peaceful place to relax after a busy day.
A special thank you also goes to the wonderful ladies in the kitchen who prepared our breakfast every morning. The breakfast was always fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, with a great variety each day. Their warm smiles and kindness started every morning perfectly.
We also really appreciated that Nordine and Hassan could arrange airport transfers and help book excursions, making everything so easy and stress-free. Their knowledge and organisation meant we could simply relax and enjoy our holiday without worrying about the logistics.

We booked the airport transfer through the riad as we didn’t want to struggle finding it on our first day. Our driver dropped us off on the main road, where Hassan met us and kindly helped with our suitcase.
On arrival, we were welcomed with complimentary Moroccan tea and sweets. The staff gave us a map with local attractions highlighted, recommended places to visit, and offered a range of excursions to book.
We stayed in the Yasmine Triple Room, which was spacious for three people, air-conditioned, and very quiet. We slept peacefully throughout our stay as we couldn’t hear any noise. The bathroom was a good size with an extractor fan, and complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided. Our room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and neatly made beds.
Breakfast was delicious, with a selection of fresh breads, fruit, coffee, and orange juice each morning.
The location was excellent, with attractions such as Koutoubia Mosque and Jemaa el-Fnaa within around a 30 minute walk.
In the evenings, we watched the World Cup on the TV, and the staff would occasionally join us for a chat and even offer us more tea, which made the atmosphere feel very welcoming.
A special mention to Nourden (apologies if I’ve misspelled your name), who was especially kind and welcoming to my younger sibling. All of the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and made us feel at home throughout our stay.

Just had a lovely week at Riad Marwa. Nourdine and his team were very welcoming and so helpful. There was a very authentic feel to the riad. The location was good, we could walk to almost everywhere we wanted to go. We would strongly recommend booking transfers as like many riads, it was initially difficult to find in the little streets. The team provided early breakfasts for us when we had early departures for trips. We did a day trip to Ouzazatne, a very long day but worth it.

Super friendly staff and spotlessly clean. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, they very helpful with ordering taxis snd giving us advice on places to go and things to do. It was great to stay in a traditional Moroccan Setting amongst the hustle and bustle of Medina life. The food was great also. Very tasty and freshly prepared. 10/10 from us. 👍

Had a great stay here when my friend and I were in Marrakesh for a few nights. Nordice (sorry if I have miss-spelt) was a great host, very friendly and looked out for us, he also helped make alternative arrangements for us when needed and was always up for a chat. The other staff were kind as well and we enjoyed the breakfast. The location is great, well positioned within the medina for exploring the souks, not far to walk to most major sites and the new part of the city (Gueliz) is also walkable. I hope to visit Marrakesh again in the future and would certainly choose Riad Marwa again.

The location was inside the medina walls so perfect area.
The atmosphere was friendly and we felt like it had a family, caring atmosphere. The staff were so thoughtful and could not do enough for us.
The rooms were spotless with clean sheets regularly and towels changed daily. Toiletries were supplied and we never went short.
The value was amazing and would highly recommend this lovely riad.
Breakfast was included and we tried the food on our last night. We regretted not having dinner more as the meal was the best we ate on our two week holiday.
This is the perfect Riad to have a wonderful holiday.

Great stay in a traditional riad with all its quirks. The riad is very well located close to the souks and main square. The room was cleaned every day and the cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a building opposite the main house which had a small kitchen area with fridge and cooking equipment.
Breakfast was a mixed affair of cake, pancakes and Moroccan bread and varied each day. One evening we decided to eat at the riad and had assumed there would be a choice of one or two dishes. This wasn’t the case, it was one set meal with no deviation. As a vegetarian I queried this and was told when making the reservation I hadn’t said anything so it wasn’t their fault and they couldn’t make me anything else. I was still charged the full amount even though I couldn’t eat the meal.
Airport transfers can be arranged by the host; the streets are very narrow and only very small cars will be able to navigate them so you may have to walk from the main road, three minutes away.
A stay in a riad is very different to a hotel but something you won’t regret.

This Riad is well placed within the medina and is a good base for exploring. The breakfast was included in our booking and was sufficient to start the day. One point to watch out for is the evening meal, if you request to eat in the hotel — you don’t have a choice of dishes — my friend was vegetarian and they served her meatballs, without any alternative — and they still charged her the full cost.

I went to Marrakech recently with my friends, we booked this Riad through EasyJet Holidays and I couldn’t be happier with this choice! All the staff working there were so accommodating and friendly, the cleaning was spot on, we even found our pjs folded neatly! I can’t recommend this riad enough, especially if it’s your first time visiting, all the main attractions are easily reachable just by walking :)

Three Scottish ladies of a certain age had a fabulous time in Marrakesh in general but it was definitely the helpfulness of Nordin who made our trip. He organised trips for us, helped with phones, got a veg/GF breakfast organised for us — big thank you.
Accommodation was cleaned daily, food was delicious. Would definitely stay here again if I went back.

Lovely couple of days spent here. Location is great for the Souks and getting around the old city. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was tasty and filling. And the service? Everyone was fantastic. They were all friendly, accommodating, helpful with trips and ideas for things to do. Whilst the room was great and location, it would be the staff I would return to see. Thanks again everyone.

I do like to come visit Marrakech and to stay in hold city centre (Médina) where is Riads Marwa. The room is cleaning every single day. The breakfast is fantastic. I had enjoyed every morning my breakfast. The manager of riads Marwa is excellent and very warm welcome here. He is excellent in communication. I value thr Riads Marwa to 10/10 and I am very satisfying to stay there. The atmosphere here is excellent and very friendly. I do recommend this place to anyone who's planning to visit Marrakech.

Read the reviews and was a little apprehensive to come! Worry not this place is fantastic the manager was brilliant and not pushy at all as other reviews said. The staff are fantastic and can’t do enuf to make your stay wonderful they make sure you have maps n can contact if needed both male staff deserve a pay rise they work so hard morning till night so if the owner is reading this give them a bonus they make this place! Truely fantastic stay and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you to the riad marwa for making our stay incredible. 10 out of 10 seriously.

Me and my mum spent 4 nights in this traditional riad. A lovely property with friendly and welcoming staff. Noradeen and Hassan went out of their way to ensure we felt welcomed. Noradeen met us at the taxi because the riad was set back from the road, we were give mint tea and biscuits on arrival then showed around the local area to help us get our bearings. It's within walking distance to everything you want to do within the walls of Medina but be prepared to get lost in the souks, I suggest use Google maps or the paper map they give you, we ended up using the big mosque near Jenna el fnaa as a point of reference. Hassan kindly made us a takeaway breakfast when we had a day out planned and another day escorted us to our bus ride in the wee early hours of the morning so as not to walk alone in the dark. Our room what you expect in a traditional riad, it was clean and tidy with comfortable beds and air con and cute little shower/shampoo bottles were refilled daily. We had 1 evening meal a lovely tagine meal and breakfast was very tasty. No pool but there is a waterpark if you want a chill day. Highly recommend this place.

Lovely hosts and the Riad is great to stay at, highly recommend. I wouldn’t use the taxis the hosts sets up. They overcharged by a lot, it’s easier to go out, get your own and haggle the price down. Also there isn’t a variety of choice in breakfast or dinner. The food is nice, but you’re given the same meals everyday.
Edit: the taxis you haggle for will still take you to where you want to.

We stayed here for our first holiday in Marrakesh. The rooms were clean and comfortable, service was excellent. Lahcen was always there to help out with things we needed and made the overall experience better. For people who are visiting marakesh and would like to be close to everything I.

We stayed here for four nights and it was very comfortable — with effective air conditioning, clean & fresh bedding & towels replaced each day. Although located within a labyrinth of alleys/roads, it is quite close to the square where excursions start & drop off, and also to the main taxi rank in the other direction. Breakfast is more than adequate with fresh orange juice, coffee & a variety of bread & pastries. We ate in the riad on our first evening and both had enjoyable different tagines. The excellent service is what made this riad remarkable — from Nordin who met our transfer and took us to the riad, where he settled us in with a refreshing mint tea, to Lahcen who provided us with early breakfasts to fit in with our excursions / airport transfer arrangements. Nordin also arranged an excursion into the Atlas Mountains for us, but all the staff were very friendly & supportive, making the whole experience very enjoyable. We would certainly stay here again — many thanks to all concerned.
