Riad Mariana

Our stay at the Riad Mariana in Marrakesh was truly wonderful. It just felt like home — warm, comfortable and welcoming. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive. In particular, Abdul and Belinda were very friendly and always ready to assist with anything we needed. We also had the pleasure of experiencing a Hammam bath, provided by Rashida, whose efforts and care we deeply appreciated. Overall, it was an excellent experience and would definitely come back.

Walking distance to the Souks and main square. Breakfast was very continental, but adequate. Staff friendly and helpful. Make sure you write the address down as Cab drivers find it difficult to locate. You will have to walk from the cab to the Riad, as there is no real vehicular access. If in doubt, use their shuttle service which can be booked 72 hours in advance.

This was my first visit to Marrakech with my family. The riad is an exceptional place. The location is close to lots of places to visit. We received a first class service and we were warmly welcomed by Fatima and Abdou. The advice and care that we received made our stay so nice. We had a homemade breakfast prepared for us while we were there. This definitely got us ready for the day and was so delicious. There is Wi-Fi aswell. Tap water is not offered there but bottle water is available, especially if planning to go out all day so bear this in mind. Many of the food places will only offer bottle water aswell. There are many food places to visit at various prices. Our rooms were clean, comfortable and had Aircon. To note, to get to the riad, the airport transfer taxi dropped us at a taxi rank. So please have your Google maps ready for the 10 mins walk to the riad. There are also 2 palm trees in drums near the entrance. I thoroughly recommend this place. Thank you Fatima and Abdou.

We stayed at the Riad for a whole week and we enjoyed it very much. Super friendly staff Fatima, Abd latif, Samira.
The rooms are very clean, great accommodations and very good food. Great place to stay for vacation. Particularly the roof top area where the sun was all day long🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞

This is a fabulous oasis in the middle of a busy humming city. Ideally situated in t he heart of the old town, and waling distance to the main market square. Lovely roof terrace, and home cooked food available to order. We did the food tour with the host and went round the market to buy produce to cook with that night. We also had the salt bath and massage treatments by Fatema who was just brilliant. Great experience and can't wait to come back.

They deserve a fantastic review as they are great. Fatima and Adbul are always present, helping you and making yourself feel so relaxed and at home.
The rooms are clean, well-designed, comfy and roomy. Bathroom has an enormous tub where you can throw a party!
Common spaces as dining room, pool and terrace are clean, tidy and always welcoming.
Breakfast with homemade msemen were one of the best things! I also recommend you taking a cooking lesson with Fatima, which includes shopping in the market with Adbul first and cooking with her later… if you like food and cooking you need to do this.
Position is a winner… inside the Medina but not right into the zoco, this place is really a Riad (it means a paradise! )
If I ever come back, for sure I'll choose this place!

Small and friendly accommodation in a great location. Felt like we were part of a family. The roof terrace is lovely (could do with some handrails on the stairs but that's just a personal thing.
The hotel was very flexible e. G. Making us an early breakfast on the day of departure. Our room was very comfortable and clean.

Absolutely exceptional Riad to spend a few nights or rent out the whole place for the same. Abdu and all of the staff were extremely amiable and ready to assist with any request. That is what makes a riad exceptional, the people willing to accommodate requests and make you feel at home. Walkable to pretty much any main site in the city, don't let the map fool you this place is a great way to insert yourself into local life and stay comfortable as a tourist.

Beautiful place to stay has a lot of potential. Location is brilliant, a 5 min walk through the bazaar to the Jemaa el fnaa Square. On arrival we were treated with with a moroccan tea, had to wait for a few hours for room to be prepared. Was not the room on balcony we booked but a ground floor room. Rooms were OK… a bit dark needed to leave doors open to get some fresh air in… not sure how this would be on a very hot day… slightly musty smell Breakfast was nice but very limited a yoghurt drink, orange juice and coffee with small pancake with butter and jam, leaving my husband still hungry. The next day another guest who did not like pancake was given a scrambled egg so husband asked for that the next day with the pancake. Evening meal was at 8pm. A tagine which was delicious and very authentic… would be nice if it came with couscous but comes with bread and salad which I was fine with me but no desserts. Abdul and Fatima were very friendly when we did see them. Had a hammam not far from hotel which cost £40 was a very good one recommended by fatima. Booked other excursion ourselves as too expensive when booking from at riad. Overall lovely place just needs a bit of sorting out very homely and peaceful.

Had a lovely time staying at Riad Mariana, the staff were friendly without being in your face all the time. Everywhere was were very clean, towels changed, bed made and bathroom cleaned daily. The room was spacious and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was fine every morning, and we had it on the roof terrace a few times which we enjoyed, there was a sitting room with comfy armchairs and sofas if you wanted it and it was easy to walk to the square from the Riad. We weren’t flying out until 9pm on the final day and were able to leave our bags safely in the dining room and welcome to sit in the Riad when we came back from the day’s outing. There was lighting in the streets leading back to the Riad at nights and felt very safe there. Highly recommend.
