Ideal and quiet geographical location… This is one of the only advantages of this establishment! Our stay in Marrakech was partly ruined because of our stay here!
What a pity to see how this riad is held and how management considers customers! (apparently, this has changed dramatically since there was a new owner — since the end of 2017)
In addition, we met the first Moroccan manager who refuses to speak French and only wants to speak English (even with French)!
Our stay:
-Arrival at the airport, a driver was waiting for us on time and took us to the riad (transfer offered by the riad).
-Room not available on arrival: we wait on the terrace at the top and tea is offered to us… After an hour, we are told that our room is still not available… we find ourselves crammed into a small room without sound insulation overlooking the courtyard in the DRC (every time someone passes we hear it and every time we speak, we are heard…).
-The next morning, we go on an excursion (to Zagora — reserved with the Riad Zanzibar) for 2 days…
-On our return, the reserved room is still unavailable and the manager tells us that he is sorry (for no particular reason) and that they are doing their best to get us back the family room reserved the next day! (already 3 nights without being in our room).
