Riad Ghali Hotel & SPA

Fantastic Riad in a great location. Away from the noise of the hussle and bussle of the souks but close enough that we could walk everywhere. The staff were all friendly and very helpful, from the fantastic Yosef who helped us with our heavy bags to the ladies serving the delicious breakfast with a smile. They were also kind enough to let us relax in the peacefull seating area while we waited for our PM flight.

Stunning and peaceful Riad close to the souks and middle of the medina. Our room was compact but lovely traditional morrocan decor and very comfortable beds. Staff kindly arranged a taxi from the airport and we were met with someone to carry our bags and lead us to the riad which was very welcoming. Also a stunning rooftop terrace with lots of comfy seating and a lovely view.

The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of the main market area, making it ideal for exploring. One thing to keep in mind: cars and taxis cannot access the hotel directly, so you’ll need to take a short, scenic 5-minute walk through charming narrow streets to reach the pick-up point. Honestly, this little stroll adds to the experience rather than detracts from it.
The rooms themselves are spotless, and thoughtfully maintained. Everything feels fresh and inviting, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay.

The rooms were spotlessly clean every single day – fresh towels, beautifully made beds, and attention to every little detail made us feel incredibly comfortable and well cared for. The housekeeping staff were always polite, friendly, and respectful, and their efforts did not go unnoticed.
Breakfasts were absolutely delicious – fresh, varied, and full of local flavors. Starting each day with such a wonderful meal in a serene setting was a real highlight of our trip.
The pool was always clean and inviting, providing the perfect place to relax after a busy day exploring Marrakesh.

Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Location is great if you want to be close to the souks and in the hustle and bustle. The riad is tucked away enough to be peaceful and relaxing. Rooms are clean neat and tidy full of authenticity.

Very nice place to stay in Marrakech, especially if you’re looking for something more traditional.
The Riad is located centrally in the Medina which is nice once you can comfortably walk around, but getting there, especially at night, can be a bit challenging and scary.
The staff were all very kind and helpful, always providing good service and doing their best to ensure we had a good experience. Breakfast is simple, but efficient.
The room we stayed was a bit small and cluttered and shower could use some renovations. Other than that, we have no complaints and enjoyed our stay very much.

Wonderful place to stay inside the medina. At first the location seems difficult to arrive but actually is very close to the central gate of the Medina. The hospitality was amazing, very nice people, ready to welcome you and give you actually useful information for places to go around. The room was clean with comfortable bed. Our stay was great.

Location is great, in walking distance to main attractions. Rooms are small, old looking and, although they might be cleaned, they don't look like since the wall look dirty and there is some mold in the bathroom. There is no noise from the street but after 6 am is super noisy breakfast being prepared and the extremely noisy door locks being open and closed. Staff is welcoming. Breakfast is acceptable but the ladies only speak Arabic.

Staff were absolutely great, good breakfasts and the location couldn’t have been more central. Highly recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed.

Great Riad to a stay for a few days in Marrakech. Breakfast was our first taste to Morocco and definitely tasted good — only problem was all the bees Flying around us and the food…
Pool was fantastic to enjoy during the middle of the day and the location of the Riad served as a great central point to head out from.
It has to be mentioned that we would not have found this place if we didn't get help from a local guy who helped us with our luggage and navigation to the place.

A special shoutout to Khadija, who was always there to ensure everything was perfect, from room comfort to meal preferences. Her dedication to guest satisfaction truly made a significant difference in the quality of my experience.

Everything was good until the riad got fire on Saturday night. After that there were wrong. Our holidays were extremely affected by that success. Neither @edreams or the @hotel had the consideration of refund at least part of the stay, even I wrote them several times.

Overall, our stay at this traditional Riadh was enjoyable. Its proximity to Jema el Fnaa and the bustling traditional markets makes it a convenient choice. The service was pleasant, with staff readily offering helpful tips and advice. However, there are a few areas for improvement. The doors are notably noisy, which can be disruptive, particularly at night. Installing noise-proof doors and windows could significantly enhance the guest experience. While breakfast was satisfactory, diversifying the offerings to include traditional Moroccan sweets, vegetables, fruits, various juice options, croissants, and a selection of coffees such as cappuccino would elevate the dining experience. Despite these minor issues, we would still recommend this establishment for its charm and convenient location.

Great place to stay. Beautiful, traditional riad. Very hospitable and helpful host. Nice breakfast served on the rooftop. Close to main squere. Strongly recommend! We stayded in Safran Suite — really nice and spacious room. The only thing that could be better was Wi-Fi.

Breakfast was okay just bread and some special cookie with butter and orange juice. Located right in the center 5 minutes away from the main square. Looks very nice and also the terrace is beautiful, rooms very morocco coded.

My family, fiancé, and I stayed at the Riad from 23/12 — 0 3/01, on arrival Monir the night manager was working. Monir was just fantastic for our entire trip, a fountain of knowledge, and devout professional and a really genuinely kind hearted person! He knew everything we asked, or was able to direct us accordingly! Monir ought to be promoted, given a pay rise, he is brilliant, and would thrive working at any London based hotel! Monir was great my older mother, and younger nieces, he speaks 3 languages (impressive)! I must mention Hasna, Kadija and Ouigden, the breakfast and hotel staff, who were exceptional, all request were carried out and nothing was too much! The hotel is based in the city centre, but on a quite street, the breakfast is plentiful and filling, the hotel is clean has beautiful roof top for relaxing. I would highly recommend Riad Ghlia & Spa due to Monir, he made our family holiday exceptional, smiled everyday, and was always happy to help! He says 'don't say thank you' Our holiday would not have been what it what without Monir, the Riad would not be what it is without Monir, he is a huge asset, we will return due to the experience we had because of Monir! Thank you Monir and all staff at the Riad Ghlai & Spa.

Location was great. Room was lovely and breakfast was great.
Spa — very poor and we were ripped off. 3 of us charged for a hammam which took less than 10 mins each supposed to be 30 mins then a 30 min masssge (lasted no more 20 mins). The massage we had was good, just not what we paid for.
Friend was charged for an eyebrow wax by reception that the spa said they didn't do NO refund given despite numerous messages.
They have refused a refund and have failed to communicate with us.
Definitely do not recommend.
