Very close to the airport and not to far a walk from the centre, rooms were spotless on arrival and the maids made a brilliant job of cleaning and were very friendly. Yasmin and Ali made us feel very at home, told us where everything we needed was, helped us book ver reasonably priced excursions through the Riad and were all round very friendly and nice to chat to. The Riad felt very homely and I was welcomed with open arms will definitely be returning here when I’m back in Marrakech.

We stayed at Riad Anyssa in May 2025 and had a wonderful experience!
They picked us up at the airport and also brought us back at the end of our stay — the transfer costs €20 and can be booked at any time, which is super convenient.
Even though we arrived at 2 a. M. We were warmly welcomed by Ali, who also offered us a traditional welcome tea. Ali was always present and incredibly helpful throughout our stay — ready to assist with anything we needed.
The riad is located in the medina, in a quiet area away from the noise but still very close to all the main attractions. It’s clean, peaceful, and truly feels like an oasis in the heart of Marrakech!
They also offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner — and the food is absolutely delicious.
Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely riad. The place was clean, cosy, and beautifully maintained. It’s also in a great location, making it easy to get around and discover all the best parts of the city.
A special thank you to one of the staff members Ali— who made the experience even better. He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything needed. His hospitality made a real difference to my experience.

My friends and I booked out the whole riad (12 of us) for a week stay and would 100% recommend staying here.
The Riad itself was absolutely beautiful with an amazing rooftop lounge, pool and deckchairs. We spent a long time relaxing up here listening to our music and cooling off in the pool after sunbathing. We weren’t expecting it to be like a hotel as we had booked the entire place so was such a luxury to have such incredible service day and night as well as daily cleaning from the incredible staff. Yassin and Ali were so kind and helpful! We got to teach each other some Irish and Arabic words, and they helped us with our photoshoots too!
We had a traditional morrocan dinner one night in the Riad and was delicious. The morrocan breakfast was great too.
Was a great location as felt quite private but still walkable distance from the souks, restaurants and lots of local shops and street food too.

We stayed at Riad Anyssa for 6 days. The riad is very nice and in a quiet street only 20 min away from the main attractions, which in my opinion was the perfect spot to be away from the chaos. The staff was amazing — very accommodating, extremely nice and always available to fix issues if there were (our cold sink tap was not working and they fixed it promptly / they provided extra pillows when we asked) and gave us very good recommendations (we had an amazing Hammam in a place they recommended). They were also nice enough to let us stay in our room until 5pm the day of our check out which was highly appreciated and it usually never happens. Breakfast was a lovely Moroccan traditional meal and we enjoyed it everyday. Their menu was also quite good so we had dinner there often. The rooftop was very well designed and we enjoyed our time up there. Our room was on the ground floor but only a small door was looking at the main hall, so we weren’t bothered by noises as I have read some people complaining, also had blackout curtains. Very sturdy mattress and big bathroom. Our towels were changed daily which was great because the room didn’t have any windows and we didn’t have any wall hangers to put the towels on so there was a risk of them remaining damp which didn’t happen. It was also very clean. I just need to say that one morning we found a cockroach in the bathroom but we killed it promptly and we haven’t encountered any others so it was fine.

We had a great time in Marrakesh and Riad Anyssa was part of it. Not so difficult to find if you keep Café Clock in mind as a reference point. We were happy with the friendly reception and the beautiful riad which includes a terrace with a nice city view. We had dinner here once, and can only compliment the cook: I would advise everyone to eat inside at least once … and to choose Riad Anyssa for their stay in Marrakesh!

A really welcoming and homely riad. We stayed for Christmas and Anka and Aziz went out of their way to make it feel festive with a dinner and also drinks on the terrace.
We organised day trips via the riad (Atlas Mountains and souk walking tour) both of which were very well priced and highly professional.
Being located in the kasbah means it’s really quiet at night, and only a short walk (15 mins) to the main square. That said, there are many restaurants and shops nearby to the riad. Thank you Anka and Aziz for making our trip to Marrakech so smooth and enjoyable. 💚

I really enjoyed my stay with my family at Riad Anyssa. Aziz and Anke, who are running this place are absolutely friendly and we had great laughters together. The interior is more on the modern side and the bedrooms are really cosy and clean. Everyday the staff is cleaning the rooms and is making the bed. Overall they are discreet and if you need or miss something, just ask. They will make it possible! Breakfast and food was delicious. We even had traditional Tajine and Tanjia (! ). The area where the riad is placed is a nice district of the Medina of Marrakech. There you can experience the daily life of the Marrakech-residents. If you're not shy and talk to them or even hang out with them, you will feel like one of them after just a few days. Extra tip: Directly around the corner is "Cafe Clock". Worth a visit! Especially if they are hosting their regular music evenings.
