Great facility a few hundred meters from the main square. Carefully managed by the attentive Manuela, owner of the Riad. Definitely recommend.

Staff very nice, friendly and helpful.

This is not the cheapest Riad in town nor is it bristling with all the five star features so why have I given it five stars? If you want cheap go elsewhere. If you want a lift and a laminated chipboard desk and tea and coffee making facilities in your room go somewhere else. If you like piped music and a large outdoor pool go somewhere else. And if you want to party loudly day and night go somewhere else. What you do get is one of the nicest welcomes you could ever expect, a wonderfully peaceful sanctuary in the middle of the noise and bustle of the souks and a gorgeously comfortable bed. The great team of ladies that run the Riad are very happy to help you with anything and unfailingly cheerful. I can recommend the airport transfers if you're new to Marrakech although they are surprisingly expensive. They are a stress free option. Enjoy this jewel of a Riad.

We stayed 4 nights in this cozy riad, in the heart of the Medina, run by an Italian girl, Emanuela. Very nice and clean Riad. Quiet, small, with a few cozy rooms and with all the comforts. All the staff do everything and more to take care of the guests, from before the departure with mail and/or call of support with all the necessary information before departure, to the organization of the transfer to and from the airport, to the advice on what to see and Where to eat, to all the onsite reservations needed. Breakfast is very good Lisa, a Moroccan girl who works in the Riad was, was invaluable to us and my stay. We recommend it to everyone!

Hard to compare with other riad as it is the only one I've been. The place is very nice and clean, the stuff extremely helpful and friendly from the first to the last day. I was truly sad about leaving this place and the lovely people who run it after few days.

The Riyadh is very clairvoyant. The music in the garden runs until 9pm, which is a bit unrelaxed in the long run. There was no staff at check-out (we had already paid the cost a day before we left, which was obviously a mistake). The taxi we pre-ordered arrived almost 40 minutes later. So better to take a taxi on the road (probably costs 30-40 DK, instead of €18 from the Riyadh), is cheaper and faster.

My boyfriend and I visited this beautiful riad last week end. We had amazing time, Emanuela, Fatima and the rest of the staff did their best to let us feel home. Beautiful

Our only negative experience in Morocco was at the Riad Anjar! The rooms were cold and the heaters did not work properly. To add to this there was only a hand held shower which was challenging with an extremely weak water flow. The lovely tub in the photo is just for show as no plug was provided and baths discouraged. Although well presented the breakfast was really a various array of breads. The final blow came when both of our credit cards were declined (we later found out it was their machine) even though we had used and continued to use them all through Morocco. The very rude owner accused us of being dishonest and proceeded to lock up our bags (we are two school teachers in our early 60's) We had to scramble to pay cash.

In the heart of the Medina, a stone's throw from jemaa el fna, we found a slice of paradise… From the outside you can't imagine the beauty and peace that you enjoy inside the riad.
The property is very clean and well-maintained, as well as the room that was assigned to us, equipped with every comfort. A mention also to the toiletries used, of excellent quality.
Breakfast was always plentiful and varied and the food we tried when we stopped one evening for dinner was great!
A note of merit for the attention, courtesy and hospitality of the owner, always attentive to every need to make the holiday unforgettable, and to all the staff composed of fantastic women! We will be back, I hope soon…

The furnishings are simple but at the same time very welcoming. The staff were very friendly. Great food, central location.

Thoughtful reception of all the staff in particular by Emanuela always attentive in every detail. The location in the heart of the Medina is strategic for travel. Clean, quiet and superlative services!
