Beautiful, peaceful place with a wonderful location, staff, food, gardens and pool. Great shuttle service to and from the city – they drop and collect you from where you want to be, instead of leaving you to find your own way around. The people who are kindness itself and really will do anything possible for you: the maids, for example, found a tiny earring I'd dropped and couldn't locate, and the chef organised goat's yoghurt for my cow dairy-intolerant husband. Perhaps the proof is in the number of return visitors, who are usually in the majority (yes, we're among them).

This small, flirty and decadent hotel is special. It has a spectacular garden and pool where we have spent a very pleasant holiday, is outside the ton of Marrakech and is grateful to rest after a hard day of haggling in the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They have sun beds towels and a collection of birds, parrots, amazing cockatoos. It's very good choice.

A unique experience. I loved walking around the beautiful garden and going to observe the amount and variety of birds there are. Ideal also the hot water pool and jacuzzi. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They were very close and family and made us feel at home. The food was excellent and there was a night that we were prepared for a dinner by the fire with all decorated with rose petals and candles. It was magical. We will definitely come back!

My favourite hotel in Marrakesh.

Relaxing and peaceful. Only the noise of the birds will disturb you. The staff are discreet but always there for your every need. The pool is a good size and great to keep cooling down. We almost had the place to ourselves so it felt very special. The gardens are fantastic and well kept with a fish pond and bird garden. Sauna, hamam and massages are available if you don't feel relaxed enough! Great sanctuary from the bustling centre of MARRAKECH.

Our stay at Dar Ayniwen was nothing short of fabulous. From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out, we were treated like royalty. Aziz and his team's hospitality was unparalleled (and we have travelled a lot! ). They accommodated our every request and we truly felt at home and welcomed. Beyond that, the hotel and its surrounding is beautiful — a true slice of paradise in Marrakech. We loved the pool and the gardens and we spent a lot of time relaxing around the pool (even had a lot of our lunch and dinners around the pool too). It was wonderful. The location is superb and the free shuttle into town was easy to use but to be honest, we loved the tranquility of the hotel and it was a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of the medina. We can't wait to one day return.

A place that I know perfectly for working often, my last marriage, I was able to house, how to say if not charm, luxury and perfection, not forgetting the kindness of the staff, the Aziz of course and the boss Stéphane, the garden is fantastic, I Strongly recommends.

Beautiful family home with remarkable architecture, not to mention the garden… A pure marvel with amazing surprises, like a collection of exotic birds! Excellent service Very good address to rest away from the city hustle and bustle.

Aziz made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived with a tour of the house, it still contains all the original furniture and belongings a fascinating insight into the way Moroccan families live. The house also contains the spa which we used and would highly recommend. From the house there is a seating area for eating plus the swimming pool and grounds which contains an avery and beautiful landscaped gardens. Once we had settled into our room we spent most of our two days lounging by the pool and being well looked after by the staff with everything from cocktails to a great variety of traditional dishes. Eating dinner by a roaring fire under candle light and having breakfast served in a tented pergula were also highlights of our trip… We are going back again next week for a second visit and cannot wait…

Perfection, I change absolutely nothing to my stay at Dar Anywen. The place is quiet and friendly. You have the impression of being at home. The staff is always very friendly, helpful and anticipate your wishes. The luxury.

Dar Ayniwen is, quite literally, one of the best places that I have stayed. I visited with my son (14) from 22-29 August 2015. I admit I was a little wary in visiting Marrakech, though after reading earlier TripAdvisor reviews I felt happy & secure in booking to stay at Dar Ayniwen regardless of whether we visited the city or not. From the moment I booked online, the staff at Dar Ayniwen (notably Aziz) delivered above & beyond expectation, organising our shuttle collection from Menara airport & confirming my request for a second bed (for my son). We flew out the very next day after booking & on arrival were greeted warmly by Aziz, poured fresh mint tea & given Moroccan sweets as we were shown around the beautiful house & to our beautiful 2-bedroomed suite, the Colonnade suite. Full of beautiful artworks, stained glass windows & stunning woven rugs, our suite was covered in fresh rose petals, vase of fresh flowers & more Moroccan suites on a silver platter. After a busy summer working, this was absolute perfection! We had everything we needed in the room — a widescreen tv, a safe, a hairdryer, toiletries, a fridge, air conditioning (in the living room area), oversized bathrobes & beautifully-soft bed sheets. Every morning we had breakfast outside which was a delight in itself, with fresh orange juice, coffee, Moroccan pancakes, pastries, homemade yoghurt, granola, sliced melon & had the option of adding eggs, though the breakfast itself was more than enough.

Dar Ayniwen Villa Hotel is nothing short of an experience of paradise. Imagine the feeling you would get discovering an oasis in a desert except when you arrive it's better than that. Set in lush palm tree sprinkled grounds with its own bird sanctuary, it provides an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. Even when the hotel is full (it only has accommodation for 18 people), you always feel as though you have the place to yourself. With rooms in the main house and in the gardens we stayed in Le Rotunde at the end of the gardens. It is exquisitely and authentically decorated with a beautiful round bedroom (and of course, a round bed), a bathroom that cleverly blends retro decor with modern facilities, and has its own swimming pool. Service and food is 5 star, actually the whole experience is 5 star. We couldn't get enough of Dar Ayniwen, and enjoyed it so much we just had to stay one more day. We'll be back again next year as sure as the sun shines, to visit a paradise that maybe the world's best kept secret.

The service at Dar Ayniwen is so so brilliant. Never been looked after so well. Nothing is too much trouble to sort for all the staff here. The best hotel in Marrakech hands down.
