Riad Makech

The room doesn’t deserve the price. It looks nothing like the photos on Booking. Com. And not worth the money especially the bed, towels and the bedding looks dirty and very used and old.

Absolutely exceptional stay at Riad Makech! The place is spotlessly clean, cosy, and beautifully decorated, with an amazing terrace that’s perfect for relaxing after a day in the Medina. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was the incredible hospitality of Selaiman.
From the moment we arrived, Selaiman was warm, polite, and always ready to help with anything we needed. He went above and beyond throughout our stay, offering great advice and making us feel genuinely welcome.
We had an early flight and had to leave the riad at 4 AM — and to our surprise, Selaiman was already up, smiling as always. He had prepared fresh coffee, juice, and even packed us a breakfast to take with us to the airport. That small gesture alone speaks volumes about his kindness and dedication.
Honestly, he is the most polite and thoughtful person we’ve ever met during our travels, and staying at Riad Makech is worth it for his hospitality alone. We’re incredibly grateful and will definitely return. Thank you, Selaiman!

We had a great stay. Everything was well taken care of, and we felt very comfortable. The breakfast was varied and had plenty of options. The location is perfect—just a short walk to Jemaa el-Fna and also very close to souks, making everything easy to reach.
The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Special thanks to staff member Selaiman, who was always ready to assist and quickly solved any small issues.
We were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend this riad!

The friendliest and kindest staff of any hotel I have ever been. Like another commenter mentioned, you really feel taken care of and they are there for you if you need anything, especially Selaiman.
The room was nice, there was an issue with the toilet but the staff fixed it immediately. Breakfast was straightforward (different kinds of breads and toppings, crepes, eggs, coffee, yoghurt, and orange juice) but tasty and the location was at a walking distance to most places you need to visit in the medina of Marrakech.
I definitely recommend this riad to anyone that wants to stay in Marrakech.

The most welcoming place I've ever stayed, the hosts were amazing went above and beyond for us the breakfast was amazing, offered advice and guidance and where to go out to eat. Room was quiet. The roof terraces were lovely. Cleaning ladies were great also. There's places to eat right on your doorstep even a lady selling soup opposite the Riad which we had to try and was amazing. Short walk to the markets but shops are 1min walk. Im definitely staying here again.

Cozy hotel, close to restaurants and small bazaars, very comfortable, the staff very friendly and helpful, there is a great view from the terrace, the breakfast is so tasty!

We stayed there nights in Riad Makech. The riad is very well located, about 10 minutes away from Jemaa el-Fnaa square and 3 minutes away from a parking lot, useful if you come by car as it was in our case. The service was kind and welcoming. Breakfasts were served both at the roof top and at the base floor. They were excellent and included orange juice, coffee, yogurt, multiple types of Moroccan breads, jam, butter, olives, croissants… The reason why I don't give them more stars is because they lost our room keys and initially blamed us (eventually they found them), they don't enforce silence at night when other guests come from the outside, and cleanliness and attention to details were not their strongest points…

Amazing riad located in nice place, said is the manage he is a nice person helpful, the riad is very clean, the people there are very friendly 😀
