Essaouira hotels with breakfast

On the night of 25th October the guitarist in the Piano Bar was phenomenal! We’d intended to head into the medina for the evening but stayed in the hotel purely because of him.

Fabulous location in the heart of Essaouira with easy access to a multitude of restaurants, cafes and shops and within an easy walk to the beach, port and ramparts.

Magical seclusion, an utterly perfect place to stay in Essaouira. Hayat and her team run an impeccable place with warmth and grace.

A beautiful Riad that’s a perfect distance to everything you need but also tucked in a nice quaint corner where all you can hear are the waves.

We visited 5 Riads before choosing to stay at Riad Mimouna: it offers the best value for money considering the ocean front view, the interior style, the location, and its 4-star.

This hotel is incredible value for money. It’s beautifully appointed and the staff (especially Hammed) and breakfast are lovely. My only gripe is with its location.

Amazing! The staff were very friendly and so helpful, giving us great recommendations for places to eat/watch the euros and preparing breakfast for us early to accommodate for our morning flight on

This is a lovely hotel in an excellent location about a 1 km walk from the old medina. We had room 12 which has a sea view and overlooks the pool. The staff are exceptional, helpful and kind.

This property is special. We enjoyed our 3 night stay, which gave us enough time to explore Essaouira and relax. There are many beautiful common areas to relax, read, etc.

Perfect location to explore the medina and still very quiet. The hotel is small and very special, with great attention to every detail. We stayed in a room n the last floor.

It was perfect! There were about 14 bedrooms, ours was lovely, and most others looked great too. All individually decorated. The place was spotless and was constantly being cleaned.

A gorgeous riad in the medina with excellent service. But the room itself is small and basic, the bathroom was very simple and the shower had seen better days.

Villa Maroc was exceptional. The rooms are lovely and very charming, being full of locally made furniture & decor. The service was very warm and friendly.

Gorgeous hotel with amazing service. Only 10 rooms makes the experience very intimate and meaningful. The hotel is right on the water so you can hear the waves of the ocean all the time.

The hotel is located in the medina, which was perfect for exploring the area. Despite the central location, it was very quiet at night. Our room was clean and breakfast was included and enjoyable.

Wonderful place, outside the medina. Quiet, wonderful breakfast, Nadia the owner gave so good service (you're a star), and a nice (20-25 min) walk to the medina (or a 10 MAD taxi tide).

The Riad was really beautiful and we got a nice big room. The hosts Nadia and Thierry also gave us some good recommendations.

I really enjoyed my stay in Riad Perle d’Eau in Essaouira — it is beautiful, nicely located in Medina, the service of staff is amazing, they are helpful and kind! I relaxed so much staying there.

This riad is well-built and well-located, clean and adequately appointed, but it falls short in service.

Gorgeous Riad with spacious and clean rooms. The views from our room and the building top are spectacular we were right on the edge of the old city wall looking toward the ocean and the sunset!

Had three nights in this superb riad in Essaouira where the staff couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. All rooms were well furnished, comfortable and spacious.

Very nice Riad in Essaouira. Close enough to the entrance to the Medina (especially from the Supratours bus station) where you can find it and take your luggage in without too much difficulty.

We traveled across Morocco, from the north to the south.
Essaouira was our last stop before we flew back home.

Absolutely incredible location. Right near the water, but still in the middle of the Medina. Such a grand experience and we were well taken care of by the staff.

We had an excellent stay in the top floor room. The staff was kind and helpful answering all of our questions. The breakfast was delicious.

We loved our stay at Riad Inna! The concierge was very helpful in guiding our visit to Essaouira, including making a reservation at a hammam and wonderful food and activity suggestions around town!

This Riad is owned and operated by a family. The staff were super friendly and caring. Loved Fatima’s motherly breakfast.

The welcome tea and pastries by a log fire on arrival was wonderful and it had a nice ambiance, right in the centre of town but with easy access to the beach, bus and taxis just outside.
