One of the best experience i'vh had in my life I met the most beautiful people ever from all kinds and they have become my friends so please came here.

I have just changed hostels, to settle in this beautiful corner at the bottom of the medina of Essaouira.
As a Moroccan I would like to say that among the best corners where the service is excellent, the manager and the staff are beautifully friendly, the corner is super clean and the terrace covers the entire medina.

The best hostel I essaouira.

Guys there are no words to explain the beauty of this place, the staff that manages the hostel are the top kind, educated, respectful, available at any time and for any thing. I recommend it, and especially if you have to visit Marrakech, I recommend going to find them even there, they have another property as beautiful as this, and a bit far from the city center a few meters, but along the way to the centre there are many beautiful things to buy, like in all of Morocco! Obviously what mutual you are kind you also, that you leave a 5 euro tip for the smiles that you give to all the availability there is nothing! 3ash l atlantic ostell ❤️

So far the best hostel I have ever stayed in my life. It is a lovely place with an incredibly welcoming staff who make you feel home. The music is a must to hear after dinner, that is one of the reasons why I just keep going back. Please never change guys! Thank you for everything.

The whole team is super. The place is so pleasant that it was hard to leave. It completely forgets the concept of time on this terrace… and enjoying the sea air. Really well, thank you for everything. I come back very quickly of course.

This place is just incredible!
You feel like home from the first moment you enter the Atlantic Hostel. It’s placed in very local, central, beautiful and safe area. There is a breathtaking rooftop where guests can chill, eat, talk, do yoga or play guitar. Staff is kind, helpful and welcoming. And the travelers are awesome too. Ayoub is a cool guy and makes the hostel the best in Morocco!

This hostel, is truly amazing. The people who work there, the guests, the guys who play music every evening, the cook and chieftain Yassine, they all share positive vibes. You can feel the good energy all over the place. Had a great stay! Be sure to stay for the couscous ;)

From my home to home. In fact Atlantic is the best hostel over Morroco. And really we spent 3 days there and every night we had dinner. Thank you so much simo and couscous.

Had a really good few days, the staff were welcoming, especially cousin cousin who served up restaurant quality food for an amazing price and invited ppl into the kitchen to help and learn from him. The rooftop is amazing, with genuine panoramic views, and all the sofas are comfy AF and make it nice and social. Slight shame my room had no window and bed not the best, but it really didn't affect the stay. 4.5

Good Hostel. Very nice people working there, always open for a little chat and some tips for essaouira. They offer nice homemade food every evening for small money and it's really delicious. But the best is watching the sunset from their beautiful rooftop terrace.

Best hostel atmosphere in Morocco. Very friendly staff (CousCous, Ayub and all the others ♥♥), huge rooftop with many tables and couches. Incredible breakfast for just 20 dirham. The staff told us many things about the city and help us planning the rest of our trip. Cozy plac, we met a lot of people there. Note that drinking alcohol is not allowed (this is even the Wi-Fi password xd). Would repeat without doubt. Thank you for everything!

I loved the feeling I felt when I first walked in the front door to check in. The downstairs common area is quaintly decorated as I would expect a Berber home and Abraham met warmly and has been very helpful the entire stay. I would love to export the friendliness and feeling of the place back home.

If your planning on visiting essaouira during the festival this is the place to stay! Everyones super fun and even though it was crazy busy they always found time to help or just socialise with you. After turning up without a booking the hospitality we recieved was second to none, cant recommend enough.

A large old building centrally located; there's charm in the history of the building and excitement in the pulse of the market right next to it. Beds/rooms/toilets are clean. Wi-Fi works well. View from the roof lounge is really nice and the sitting area is great for hanging out. The staff are outstanding, going through miles to make sure that I was ok (giving me extra blankets and tea when I got a fever and ran cold), showing me around all the top spots, and were the most fun company. They gave me every tip I needed, and any trouble I had was quickly resolved. Special thanks for younes and rachid for being the most amazing hosts. I wish I could stay much longer.

I Had some questions about this hostel when reading reviews, many people said there were bedbugs (turquoise). I found the room clean and can see how in the mornings they clean thoroughly, they even pull the beds out of the room. They Probably had that problem, but now they have everything under control. Just arriving Soukina I will have the door and loved the place, the biggest hostel I have ever seen. You will have No problem if you do not speak English, there is a very attentive boy who speaks Spanish. Amazing atmosphere, lots of pretty girls and a terrace to freak out. Breakfast is Not included. They Have A very correct laundry service for 50DH. In Winter it can be a little cold place, why the building is a bit old and you notice a bit of current, but when it gets hot that is appreciated. If You Smoke The National product watch as You go down the stairs to the terrace are a bit spotty.

This place is wonderful, nice friends and nice view from the rooftop. It's the best place where you can stay and have fun and joy in Essaouira.

Hostel Essaouira from several plants. Decorated with illustrations by all the hostel makes you feel very comfortable. You have a roof terrace with amazing views and the breakfast that we were offered was great; I would say that one of the most complete of the whole trip for Morocco. The rooms are correct and clean bathrooms. Has Wi-Fi although the connection is very good but it works. The guys who have the accommodation are very friendly.

I would recommend Atlantic hostel.

It's OK if you go in backpacker mode. You meet people from all places, so it's perfect for socializing. They include breakfast, and you can dine and try their magnificent couscous.

This hostel definitely does not deserve its 4 stars here. We paid a whopping 25 euros per night in a twin room where the window was nailed — no chance of airing. In view of the fact that every morning we were delighted by the sewers fragrance of the toilet located right next to the room, a no go. The hostel is super dirty and rancid. I'm not surprised that others were talking about bed bugs. We have washed our laundry there for expensive money — what should I say, I probably travel back home with half my socks and underwear. Admittedly a great roof terrace and thanks to the loving and relaxed people a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, we dreaded so much that we decided to shorten our stay — which ended in a highly aggressive discussion with an employee who charged me a price, then claimed we were too dumb to reckon with and then just wild on his calculation Still got 200 dirhams on it. You can be happy if you are willing to pay the required price for this Gammlerhütte. If they had met us, it would have been possible to take it, but we still want to pull off and claim wildly any taxes — I can title it as a tourist trap in good conscience. For the same price there are enough nicer hostels in Essaouira:)

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The location cannot be better, in the heart of the medina. In my stay I had bedbugs and the rooms smell bad, which something has to give up for that price.

Amazing place with good vibes and a great rooftop terrace to relax! This is my second time coming here and I simply love this hostel! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful! If you are looking for nice people and an enjoyable non expensive relaxing location then I can totally recommend this place to you!

Very nice hosts. It has a awesome view over the city and even the sea. The location also is goos since it is in the middle of the city.

Wow what a beautiful place. I really do love this hostel. Since I came to Morocco I was looking for a place where I can rest and enjoy my holiday, and people recommended this place to me so I decided to come and see, but after that I couldn't go anywhere else I came just to spend one or two days then I stayed for a week. It's really recommended. I Will definitely come back again. Special thanks to Jonas and Ayub for their hospitality. And for their respect to shut down the music when I'm working in the terrace.

I didn't stay in atlantic hostel but while I was exploring the old medina in Essaouira I found by coincidence this hostel in very beautiful location in the mid of the medina, and the staff was very cool, and they let me go in and I enjoyed the view from the rooftop with a cup of a tea while watching the sun set. And they let me also use the Wi-Fi. Thanck you guys big hugs ;)

Bedbugs! Careful! And though the people there were nice, they didn't help us after having reported about the bedbugs. They don't wash the beds and it was disgusting. I'm sorry to say all that, because it could really be a great place. They have a pretty big terrace, the prices are not too high, and the the staff is nice.

A cool hostel, with a social atmosphere, and well-located. The chef, Couscous, makes delicious moroccan food! The staff are all very friendly and welcoming.

Worst hostel I've stayed in in morroco. The cook is called Cous Cous and it seems to be super fake for tourists. Also on hostelworld the second you give the place bad reviews, it suddenly gets a good review with 10 out of 10, seems fake. The place was dirty and we didn't even get the room that we booked in advance. Also a lot of travelers complained about this hostel. Don't believe the good reviews. Music blasting till 3 am and back on at 10 in the morning. Not a cozy atmosphere. Workers welcomed me and asked me for my name 10 times because they forget who I was. No wonder with 150 people staying there.

Nice place to chill and meet People from everywhere and live in the local time, take your time and enjoy.

Nice terrace, only problem as everyone knows even the staff : the manager (oussama). We had a nice musical session at the roof top right after breakfast (taken there as well), the staff were so friendly, though the manager was only willing to argue with anyone, about anything, you wouldnt wanna recommend such a place to someone looking for a no trouble stay. And I honestly will reconsider my choices next time for a hipster style but customer friendly place.

Honestly the best hostel I've stayed in, you'll never want to leave. The staff here are by far the most helpful hostel staff i've ever met.
Ossama helped me figure out the best way for me to get to my next destination and nothing is too much trouble.
I would HIGHLY recommend eating at the hostel as the food is prepared by a chef here and is by far the nest food I've had in Morocco. The best part is after the meal when the guys play drums whilst you have tea. The meal really brings everyone in the hostel together.
The showers and toilets are good, there are lockers and a storage room.
The terrace is perfect to chill on.

The best hostel I've been to until now, the workers are a real marvel, there are things that are upgradeable, so little by little. To go on like this guys!

Never book a tour with this hostel, especially a guy call himself "Couscous". We are a group of four booked with him, it was a fraud. We end up paying luxury price for a basic tour. Never trust "Couscous", he will treat you well at the beginning but disappear after receiving the money. "Couscous" told us he owns hostel. If he owns the hostel, I can't believe it could be a honest service. And this guy never tell you his real name! AVOID.

Great hostel to meet cool young people, the place to be. Only the beds in the dorms are not so comfy and the showe plus toilets are very basic / not so clean sometimes. But you are here for the experience aren't you? ;-)

Really nice hostel in the heart of the Medina. The rooms are clean and you have also Wi-Fi inside. The rooftop is breathtaking and the dinner they serve absolutely amazing for only 60 Dirham. I would come again!

So the host is really eager to be friendly with you, however sometimes you just wanna chill by yourself, which they fail to understand. The hostel has nice common room, and a teras with an OK view, you can't see the beach and all that, though. The Wi-Fi does not work in the room and you need to b in common room for it to work. The shower sometimes has and sometimes does not have warm water, the kitchen is kinda dirty, but you can cook and store your stuff in the fridge. Takes approximately 15 min walk to the beach.

It's simply the place to be in essaouira. Highly recommanded.

Atlantic hostel is so far the best hostel in hall morocco.

Be very careful with your key deposit. I saw two girls ahead of me leaving without their key deposit because "Hostel" system shows they already checked out. The staff told me the exact same thing that their system shows we already checked out which doesn't make any sense. I had to fight to get my deposit back. They need a better system for managing key deposits. Other than that great location, pool is really good at the hostel. Wifi works sometimes, food is expensive at the hostel, eat at square.
