New Years booking for two families 9 x adults, 2 x hour Quad biking & buggies, cocktails, 1 x hour camel ride, dinner should have been an amazing day. Off to a bad start when on the day they pushed our reservation back to 4pm and then had us waiting around for 40 minutes, started @ 4:40pm. The buggies were so badly maintained I was surprised they made it through the ride. The ride was cut short as it was getting dark and still had the camel ride to go. That was also cut short as it was dark. Their bar closed so no Cocktails they let an ice bucket in the dark with 2 x bottles of wine some beers and a bottle of Coke €198!
The dinner was very good. The quad ride guide who was also our wait was very nice and did his best. The setting was lovely. Cost for a family of x 4 €775. Overall experience was very disappointing, left with the feeling of being a tourist ripped off.
We stayed for one night on 27 October 2024. The resort is stunning and our lodge was beautiful. I could not fault the accommodation or the facilities. The absence of electricity in the lodge was a bonus, the candles and the wood burner were amazing. One small hitch — there was no hot water which wasn’t ideal!
The food was delicious and plentiful. The staff were very friendly but service was a bit chaotic as nobody seemed to be in charge and overseeing everything. When we came down for dinner, nobody greeted us or told us where to sit or how to order. We found a table and after half an hour of waiting, I went in search of someone to help.
We expected music in the evening as advertised on their website but there was nothing. Didn’t bother us particularly but again no communication as to what was going on.
The young lady who welcomed us on arrival in the afternoon was very sweet and helpful but not sure if she was in charge.
We met the manager (or perhaps owner — middle aged man) on our departure. He was not very helpful and didn’t even ask how we enjoyed our stay or even say thank you when we paid. We were overcharged for drinks but he wasn’t interested. Disappointing end to our stay.
Bottom line, stunning place, delicious food but needs an effective manager to pull it all together and make guests feel more welcome and valued.

A very nice hotel in the desert. Ideal for relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet. The food is very good, the crew very friendly. The pool is a dream. A lot of emphasis is placed on sustainability. Top. Highly recommended.
