Inara Camp - Restaurant - Desert activities - Heated pools

We went to INARA camp restaurant as day guests for dinner. The experience was superb. Amazing views of the Agafey dessert and the Atlas Mountains. We had booked a camel ride to start our experience and this didn’t disappoint, great views form on board and a friendly guide who took lots of pictures for us.
The food was very nice, a good mix of meat and veggie dishes and we shared a few dishes. A good selection of drinks too including local beers and wine which was lovely.
Entertainment was fun, the musicians encouraged our teenage daughter to join in and the fire show was amazing.
Would recommend this to others as a unique experience.
Only negative was the tricky road to reach the camp which was bumpy but the trip was well worth it.

We spent two nights at Inara Camp in the Agafay Desert, and it was an absolutely magical experience from beginning to end. From the warm welcome at reception by Mohammed to the peaceful beauty of the desert surroundings, everything was perfect.
We stayed in the Suite Inara tent, which was beautifully designed with a stunning view and cozy, comfortable details. The coffee in the room was surprisingly amazing and such a nice touch to start the mornings.
We booked a package that included a 50-minute massage, a 45-minute pottery lesson, and a 30-minute camel ride – each activity was thoughtfully organized and incredibly fun. We felt relaxed and cared for the entire time.
The food was delicious, and during our dinners, Said and Youssef took exceptional care of us. Their kindness and attention to detail made our meals feel extra special. On our final night, we were lucky to enjoy a beautiful fire show under the stars – a truly unforgettable moment.
Inara Camp is the perfect place to disconnect, relax, and enjoy the magic of the desert. We’re so grateful to the whole team for such a beautiful experience. Highly recommended!

We had a great family overnight stay at this luxury camp with grandparents and teenage grandchildren. We enjoyed lunch, dinner, a camel ride and an afternoon at the pool. The accommodations were super comfy but pay attention to the comments about the cold nights and pack accordingly! The service could not have been better; the evening meal was especially delicious and the views of the desert and night sky were breathtakingly beautiful. The camel ride is very touristy and very fun. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. They prepared a nice breakfast to go as we had an early morning departure to catch our flight home.

Me and my girlfriend had an amazing 1 night experience in Inara camp. The staff were very welcoming and the whole experience was great! They noticed on my passport it was my birthday and surprised me after dinner with a little private concert and a cake🎂, Thank you once again 😇. The dinner and breakfast were both very tasty and well rounded. Overall price to quality was great! We would definitely recommend this place for couples if you want to have a romantic getaway. See you again.

Great view and facilities with some activities available. Different type of desert compared to somewhere like Merzouga. We visited in October, so the weather was starting to cool and they had not started heating the pool yet. Water was pretty cold. Food was great overall and they do serve some alcohol. We took the sunrise camel ride and did an ATV ride which were both great activities. Allowed us to walk over to Les Terrasses d’Agafay which had a nice infinity pool and no one around.
We asked the hotel to coordinate a ride back to Marrakesh. A van/driver arrived to pick us up and we had a bit of a tip/payment conflict with the local porter upon arrival to the Medina gate in Marrakesh, but fortunately the next hotel helped resolve the confusion. Lack of communication.

I actually wanted to give 0 stars because the owner responds to bad reviews of other people in such a rude and disrespectful way that he would deserve it. Very unprofessional indeed. However, my stay was very pleasant, so I’m forced to give 5 stars after all.
The bed was very comfortably soft, the water in the modern shower was warm, and I even got a free upgrade to a suite. I don’t think the heated pool is actually warmer than the unheated one, but in March, it was fine. The second infinity pool uphill the camp is magical and gave me some unforgettable memories.
Some people say this isn’t the desert. That’s true! It’s a rocky desert. If you want dunes, you’ll have to drive eight hours. But on the plus side, here you can get back to Marrakesh quickly—just a one-hour drive.
Yes, it is expensive, but considering the effort required to maintain this camp in the desert, I think the price is reasonable. I really enjoyed the experience and would come back, despite the owner being very unlikable.

Our trip to this desert camp was a unique adventure with a mix of highs and a few minor lows. The drive to the location was longer than expected, but this turned out to be a positive as it meant we got to enjoy the vast desert landscape almost entirely to ourselves.
Accommodation:
We opted for the Discovery tent, as it provided the most authentic camping feel compared to other options that had doors, which somewhat diminished the "tent experience. " If you’re looking for the best views, I highly recommend requesting a tent at the front rather than at the back.
The tent itself was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. However, it's worth noting that the tents are not the newest. We experienced some minor issues with the tent not closing properly, and the zipper broke at one point. Additionally, a rainy day meant that water eventually made its way into the tent. While we were informed that the tent might make noise due to wind (which was not an issue for us), and that wild dogs roamed at night (we heard them but never saw them up close), these aspects added to the adventure rather than detracting from it. The camp provided earplugs for those sensitive to noise.
Weather Considerations:
If visiting during the colder months, bringing warm clothing is essential. The tent has air conditioning, but it does not sufficiently heat the space in cold weather. I assume that in hotter months, keeping the tent cool could also be a challenge.

This one of the best place’s I’ve been to overall. The place is amazing (great view and decor), the personnel is so nice, the prices are very good and affordable, the pool and rooms are amazing, people are so kind and friendly and there are many activities you can do (quad, camel and horse rides…), there are different shows over diners (gnawa, fire crackers, and there was a camp fire and the atmosphere is ethereal)

One night here was fun. We did the best quad biking we've done for ages, longer than expected and the stop at the little tea tent in the middle of the desert was really nice and unique. The camel ride was a nice way to wind down before dinner too. The rooms were nice and the fridge was useful. The wild dogs all night and music blaring out 1-3am were not great and the "heated pool" clearly wasn't. A lot of folks mentioned the photo of the large pool was at their place up the road so felt quite misled. The service and food were excellent and we are glad we've done it. 1 night was enough though.

Came for dinner with friends and it was nothing short of Fab! Hotel was great about about communication organized a private transfer, our driver arrived on time and was super accommodating. Upon arrival we were greeted by musicians and our host Saed gave us the best service I may have ever received. So incredibly accommodating giving us a tour of the camp, we caught an amazing sunset, he was a photographer extraordinaire putting us in the right place and art directing our movement. He really went above and beyond from the moment he opened the car door to greet us to the moment he put us back into the car. Spectacular! The food was good, not great…I think we were hoping for Lamb and get beef but it was good and plentiful.
Night ended with a glorious moon rise and dancer performer. It was a full moon which was beautiful but it was too bright to see all of the constellations.
Our private tent was huge and had dining and small living room, there was also a fire pit and other sitting areas. Super spacious! Could not believe all that space was for us! Can’t wait to go back and spend a couple of days in the desert!

A camp with tents in the middle of the agafay desert, with all the comforts of a 4 star hotel. We arrived at lunch time, the camp is in a suggestive position, we had our tent with all the comforts, private bathroom, shower and a fridge, very comfortable double bed, air conditioning absolutely vital for the temperature. The camp also has a restaurant where we ate for both lunch and dinner, with two different menus. The restaurant is of a good standard. There's also a small pool to relax in, with covered and uncovered loungers. In the evening several fires are lit and the atmosphere becomes even more magical… I would say unique! we only stayed one night, it seems to me that most guests do this… that for more than a few days the situation risks becoming monotonous. You can take tours in the desert on quads and camels…
My suggestion:
— stay max 2 days.
— private tour with quad.
— make an hike in the morning.
— at night the temperature drops and it becomes cold, bring a sweatshirt and a jacket.
— the night show is really.
