The owner cancelled my reservation without any reason.
When I asked why they cancelled, I didn't get any answer.
I booked a double room for a 3 nights stay in Fes (2-5 october)

I was very happy to find Fez Dar during my visit to Morroco. The manager Elena was very communicative and helpful. Her support was very positive.
The location was very good near the central part of the Medina at the same time very reserved and quiet.
Rooms had enough space, a comfortable bed and a private bathroom with good hot shower (important during january).
Breakfast was prepared and served fresh. The smell in the morning was a good reason to wake up and get out of bed.
I highly recommend Riad Fez Dar if you are looking for a good experience with a fair price 😃

Amazing room and right at the foot of the old town medina! Very quiet area, super clean rooms and facilities! Amazing staff and owner! Super yummy breakfast! I got a complimentary upgrade from Redouane and Aya! I highly recommend this stay! They also offer tours for reasonable prices!

Cute little family owner Dar (like a road but with no yard).
The rooms are very clean and well kept, the breakfast is great and the location is super central, great value for money.
The best thing about this place is the super helpful staff (Aya and Fatima), who helped us with food during Ramadan, invited us to a pre wedding Henna party and helped us book a day tour to Chefchouhen.
Definitely consider staying here when visiting Fes (on a budget)

It’s really a nice and lovely place. Traveled a lot in Morocco and this is the best place I have ever stayed. People hier are really nice. We drink a lot of tea, play a lot of game and talk about everything. I think I will come back.

Hicham and his family were very kind to us. They gave us a map as soon as we arrived and explained us what to see. The house is very cozy and quiet despite being located in the Medina, perfect for a good rest. The breakfast is abundant and very tasty. Hicham resolved all the doubts that arose during our stay and offered help to us. We felt at home! Thanks a lot for your hospitality and attention.

The experience and stay at Fez DAR was amazing. The host was always extremely welcoming. He gave us tips and organized tours and the transport to and from the airport. The location is very good, being situated in the center of the Medina and on one of the main streets. The price is very good. Breakfast is very good and was prepared by the host. On one of the days, we had dinner with a meal that the host cooked for us which was amazing.
In summary, highly recommended.

We stayed at this place recently during our travel through Morocco on a fairly tight budget. We didn't expect much and basically wanted a clean bed and bathroom. This place offered more, the room we got was comfortable and spacious, the bathroom had a stream of both hot and cold water, the view from the terrace was amazing. We were served by great staff including Mustafa the receptionist, Simo the manager, Katarina and Laila. A great shout of thanks to all of them for making our time in Fez enjoyable.

From a tiring Sahara Desert trip, I couldn’t imagine a better way to end the long road trip being welcomed by Fez Dar.
It’s like visiting your own relatives and being welcomed into their home. They greeted us at the parking lot and was introduced to the medina on our way to the Dar. We were also briefed with everything we needed to know during our stay and the ropes around the medina.
Our room was big enough for two, and the heater worked well. Loved the high ceilings! Always loved our breakfast spread and the Wi-Fi! I could still work and be on a vacation at the same time.
The location is everything, near the landmarks and the main streets of the medina and it’s kind of easy to get around. There’s so much to see and there are a lot of good restaurants and cafes nearby. We didn’t have any problems or fears coming home late from our dinners as the area was really safe and the surroundings are clean.
What I really loved was how they would always go out of their own way just to help with just about anything we needed. Guide? Taxi? Driver? Restaurants? Places to visit? Porter? Just anything! As long you ask them. Also special mention to the lady who was cleaning the rooms, we needed help and she was the only one there and even if she didn’t know much English words, she did her best to accommodate and help us.

We booked this place last moment, not expecting much, I only remembered it as a hostel I visited about five years ago. It was surprising to see how the place has changed since, having the new European management, with upgrades being made. We took two rooms downstairs by the courtyard and found them to be clean and comfortable, with plenty of hot water in the shower. Katarina, the new manager was very pleasant to stay around and talk with, herself being a world-traveler just like we try to be. The location is perfect as it is just steps away from the main medina street (the Talaa) and the views from the terrace are magnificent. They keep the price reasonably cheap for budget travelers while offering far exceeding services.
