Riad Myra

I had booked our Christmas stay on their website 6 months in advance. 5 days to arrival I got an email cancellation email unexpectedly. No message, no explanation; just the cancellation notice. I emailed them straight away to understand why, but I did not get a reply. I tried again the next day, but once again, no reply. I could see on Expedia the suite I had orginally booked was still available for sale for my travel dates. I had to prepay over $1000, but at least it was a confirmed reservation. I emailed the hotel to advise that they could keep the original booking cancelled and that I had a new reesevation through Expedia. The next day, I get a call from Expedia telling me that the hotel has cancelled my booking again. Still no reason why the cancellation, which was very frustrating. Luckily the customer experience team at Expedia were super helpful in finding another riad of similar calibre in Fez, although it was a 20 min walk from our original location. I find it appalling that the riad could not even reply or give us a reason for the cancellation.

Absolutely gorgeous inside hotel. Very clean and very warm staff members. We really enjoyed our stay and I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed 10 months ago, I was so happy with my stay I said I would add a review and failed to do it, so I would like to apologise to Chaymae, Nouria who looked after my Japanese friend and I so wonderfully. A special thank you also goes to Karima who gave us the best hamam experience ever. She makes all her treatments herself following her grandmother 's recipes.
The room, the breakfast, the dining atea, the Riad as a whole are a great place to be. I will be visiting again for sure and thank you again for a lovely stay.

We loved this place. The entry is through a nondescript alley after a fairly long walk from our car. Our driver had called ahead for help with the luggage. You enter into a stunning courtyard. After a very friendly greeting they led us upstairs to the “Vizier” room which we later heard was their biggest. It was huge and very nicely furnished. The walls and floors had more tile than I have ever seen. The windows look out on the aisle and courtyard so we kept the shutters closed. But the sumptuous room was enough. Dinner that night was quiet and good. We spent 2 nights here and loved the place and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Was comfortable. Picturesque internal courtyard. Communal coffee machine available to use. Quiet central location. Negatives: Staff are bewildered. Breakfast was poor. Limited selection of food eg, microwaved stale bread and jam. Stay at Riad Fes instead bc they have a pool.

Very very nice. Rooms are very large, service is impeccable. Rooms are very clean We had an early morning schedule, about 1 jour before normal breakfast, but we were accommodated to meet our schedule. We ate at the Riad both of the nights we were there. Beautiful surroundings, great service and delicious food. Great experience.

A palatial hotel decorated in a vintage style located about 200 m walk down winding alleys from where the taxi drops you off. The center courtyard or atrium is very striking and is where breakfast and dinner are served. Good menu and bar service. I availed myself of the spa service for a decent 1 hour massage. It's a very peaceful retreat in the heart of bustling Fes.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. Our room was huge and very comfortable. We found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful (especially at reception and Bryan (sp? ) — he consistently went out of his way for us). Having a small bar in the lobby area was a nice feature to enjoy a cocktail before or after dinner. The bar area (and the entire Riad) has a very nice atmosphere. The location is right in the medina on a quiet side alley, which made it convenient for shopping and enjoying the medina, but a very peaceful spot. We're very glad to have stayed here. It was a highlight of our 2 week trip.

It's definitely a wow experience! Elegant and rich in architectural detail, topped with gracious and caring service! We stayed for 2 nights and loved it! Breakfast is a nice spread — mix of continental and Moroccan. We had dinner — tasty! They do have a bar. A number of top rated restaurants like the Culture Box are a less than a 5-minute walk. Very close to the new medina. Highly Recommended!

Absolutely gorgeous riad but not a great stay. Staff not at all warm, helpful or welcoming; breakfast extremely mediocre. Room very pretty but not comfortable and bathroom smelled of sewer gas. For a 5-Star hotel, I would’ve expected small touches like e. G. Replenishing the bottled water or taking away day old welcome pastries, but that didn’t happen. Very disappointing.

Beautiful Riad with great customer friendly staff. The Riad was built in the 17th century and has magnificent architectural detail. Our room (concubine room) was large with an amazingly beautiful bathroom. Four poster bed that was supremely comfortable — we slept very well. Nice breakfast and great, quiet location off the main street and easy entry to the souk. We loved it here!

Lovely Riad in perfect location to explore Fez. Staff friendly, lovely clean rooms and bathroom, with service exceptional. They made special breakfast to cover our dietary needs (GF and DF). The classic architecture was a joy as was our stay.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Riad Myra for two nights. What a spectacular riad. It blew us away. The service matched the wonderful facility. Be prepared for a real treat. Even the breakfasts were great! We look forward to a return trip.

We stayed at this Riad for 2 nights in Fez and totally enjoyed it. It has so much local character and charm. The dinner and breakfasts were delicious and the best Moroccan food on our trip. The service provided by Brahmin was outstanding — we went for cocktails at a nearby Riad he walked us there and back. Rooms were super comfortable and beautifully decorated. I gave rooms 4 out of 5 because there were some minor maintenance items.

The staff were amazing and catered to our departure time coming in early to ensure we ate. The one piece that all riads seem to suffer with is the noise control. You can hear someone cough in the room next to you, but that’s not something unique to this location. Overall definitely recommend.

We stayed at the Riad Myra for 3 nights. This place is jaw-droppingly beautiful! The courtyard is spectacular with the fountain and blue tile. Our room was beautifully decorated and very spacious. We had breakfast 3 days and each time the offerings were a little bit different. We also had lunch and dinner and the food and service was outstanding! A shout out to Brahim (spelling? ) as he always greeted us and made sure we had everything we needed. This is a wonderful place to stay in Fes!

Absolutely beautiful riad. We stayed for 2 nights and it was the perfect location, stunning, clean and the staff were so helpful and hospitable. I asked to change rooms and they were so kind and helpful and made me feel very comfortable.
The breakfasts were excellent and there is a bar for those who want a glass of wine beer or spirits.
I don’t know why the trip advisor rating is 4.5 stars it is 5 star all the way.
Highly recommend.
