The best incredible nights sleep on the most comfortable luxury bed, the bed linens are amazing, second to none, as are the Chaq Chaq staff, so kind, attentive, lovely humans. We all really appreciated their support with getting from A to B and everything for a smooth enjoyable, safe stay in Fes. We are a group of 7 women, we had the most wonderful stay at Chaq Chaq for a birthday celebration. Our epic breakfasts were delicious, a fantastic start to days filled with adventure, shopping, eating, laughing in the warm October weather. Sun downers on the Chaq Chaq roof terrace are so private and low key, just perfect with a Gin & Tonic, we all enjoyed the stunning ancient medina views from there, hearing the powerful call to prayer at Sunset from the roof, is one we will never forget together, a very special place is Chaq Chaq. An unforgettable experience with precious friends. Home cooking tagines, cous cous etc were delicious at Chaq Chaq, for when you are too comfortable in your private riad residence to go out, arranging each morning, what you would like for your evening meal, is so easy. I would highly reccomened Chaq Chaq to anyone. Travelling alone or with family/ friends, it's a welcoming, clean, beautiful place to stay. P. S. Gorgeous relaxing massage, too, in Chaq Chaqs own massage room within the riad, very nice indeed. Thank you all @ Chaq Chaq Fes!
If you’re visiting Fes, I can thoroughly recommend Riad Chaq chaq. The place was immaculately clean with nice crisp quality sheets, comfortable beds and lovely home cooked Moroccan food. Abdu and Mustafa who run the Riad welcomed us as though we were family. We will definitely be back, especially for the breakfasts… thank you also for taking care good care of our specific dietary requirements. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We booked this place for New Year’s Eve in Fes during our honeymoon. It was a massive let down. We splurged a bit thinking we could sit on the rooftop and enjoy NYE — it was a dump. Stuff everywhere, furniture breaking down, feral cats around.
We checked out a night early and went to another Riad.
Essentially, this place seems to have been renovated in 2017 and no money has been spent on it since. All of the photos on the website and instagram are from when it was originally renovated, despite them continuing to post them.
The lobby area is extremely cold in temperature and feel. They turn all the lights off during the day. There is no one manning reception. We didn’t have any introduction to Fes, how to get around or where not to go etc. At one point, we waited outside for 10 minutes before getting let in.
The room had a noisy air conditioner that wasn’t effective. The website talks about organic bathroom products etc, we had a disgusting soap dispenser with a mix of soaps in it. The basins had mold. The shower water ran everywhere. They didn’t change the rooms over, considering the price, they should. The door to the rooftop was left open during the night so feral cats came down and could hear them fighting outside our door.
On the website, it talks about all types of food on offer. It didn’t seem that it functions like a restaurant, nor were we offered any of this. Breakfast was some bad pastry and bread which was warmed in the microwave. Nothing was cooked fresh.
