Ulaanbaatar Hotels

Stayed here for three nights during the winter, while it was — 40°C outside the hotel was warm and cosy. I was well looked after by the exceptionally kind and observant staff.

I had an absolutely amazing time at Ulanbataar Hotel. Location is center you can go anywhere by foot. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated.

GREAT hotel in Ulaanbaatar. Very modern, clean, and good value. Also decorated with amazing art work and complete amenities. Deluxe 2 bedroom suite is fantastic.

Breakfast is excellent at the Aurora Hotel, offering from salads to nuts and dried fruits. Rooms are very clean, comfortable and silent.

I had a wonderful stay at the Kempinski Hotel in Mongolia.
The staff were fantastic. Thank you very much Jade for always being so kind and helpful, and listening to what I needed.

The Kempinski Hotel Ulaanbaatar offers a kind of old-world luxury that feels rooted in the 60s–70s era.

An exceptional hotel experience and without a doubt one of the best places I have stayed in. From the moment I entered the lobby, I was impressed by the beautiful statues, elegant design, and

I truly enjoyed my stay and did not regret choosing this hotel at all. The most impressive part was the bed—it was extremely comfortable and allowed me to rest very well.

We had a good-sized room with excellent windows that did a great job of blocking out traffic noise. There were a few minor issues during our stay, but they were resolved quickly by the staff.

I stayed here with my friends and had a great experience. The location was very convenient, and the atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. The room was clean and well-maintained.

A calm and clean guesthouse in the older section of Ulan Bataar. You are near the Gandan monastery and it’s a short walk to the museums and downtown.

Booked this accommodation on Trip. Com.
The place is clean and warm. Bed's really comfortable.
There are curtains for privacy and the lockers are huge which I really like a lot.

Im very happy to stay here for a week! The owner is nice n hardworking guy, he clean the property everyday by himself! The property is well maintain! The location is very convenient to walk around!

Review of Toyoko Inn Ulaanbaatar.
Toyoko Inn Ulaanbaatar offers a very clean and comfortable stay compared to similar hotels in the area.

Nice price for stay. The good point is 'free breakfast'.

+ Good rooms, nice bathroom and a center location.
— If u lost a roomkey it cost 4 dollars (never seen this before especially when the food is cheeper then the room key.

Stayed multiple times in different kind of rooms.
They are always clean. Sometimes the airconditioner/heater doesn't work, which can be a bit of a pain.
The staff is quite nice and helpful.

I had a very good experience staying at Tuushin Hotel from 01 January to 07 January 2026.
The front desk was efficient and professional — check-in was smooth, prompt, and completely hassle-free.

Excellent hotel. Great service. Within walking distance to many great museums. The restaurant on the main floor is excellent. Try the beef shin, It's actually a beef marrow bone cut in half roasted.

I have been there several times and I had the pleasure to experience all their services, starting from the room hotel and suites, passing for the restaurant and lounge and spa service.

We stayed at the Shangri La for 5 nights and here are our thoughts:
Arrival: There were no bellmen to assist with luggage.
Room: We stayed in a premium room.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Ulaanbaatar!

Stayed here with my husband for 2 x 1 night stays while visiting UB. Hotel is located a bit away from main attractions, but everything was within walking distance and there were nice dining options

Amazing brekfast!
It a very comfy boutique-like hotel, rooms are spacious, warm and with all the basics.
The included breakfast is varied, very tasty and a good choice for the price.

I really like the place. The especially went for the pods as I’ve never seen one. It was a really interesting experience. I really liked that the sleeping place is confined. It makes you feel secure.

I had a wonderful stay at UBPOD, the first capsule hotel in Mongolia. The room was super clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent.

Clean room, comfy bed. Grabbed dinner on the 6th floor — food was solid, especially the Mongolian khuushuur.
Front desk was great.

Great location close to the airport. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of options.

Best hotel gym I’ve seen in years.
Old school hotel: the rooms are huge and you get more than one room. Interior is slightly dated but clean. Service is nice and the staff cares.

Rooms were just ok, as the property is very old and outdated. Doors were hard to close, wardrobe unit was broken and lights were not working when I walked in. Continental breakfast too is average.

Stayed a total of 6 nights as Diamond member.
PROS: clean and fairly new hotel in great location in UB (almost all the museums, temples, tourist spots are within a mile walk).

The Ulannbaatar Holiday Inn is a great find. The recently renovated room was spacious and well appointed. The gym is large and offers a selection of equipment not normal for this range of hotel.

Comfy rooms, and quite. Wifi is not good at all. I was attending a web meeting through my phone data and struggled a lot.

We have been in UB for quite a while now. The Blue Sky has been amazing for us. The Bar on 23rd floor at dusk has been a highlight at the end of a hard week.

I like their meal options. Nutrition rich and healthier.

A super well furnished studio at very low price. Clean, safe and very well located.

Very big, nice furnished flat but there is no washing machine, also in the facility, had to ask for hairdryer, no coffee machine as mentioned.

Stay here for a week. The room is so clean and comftable. There are many grocery stores around, very convenient. The landlady is very friendly and helpful.

Very friendly, great hospitality, central location. Provides breakfast and tea. Clean facilities. Laundry service available upon payment. Fantastic space.

Really central located guest house, easy to walk to the main points of interest. Very quiet and clean. You have nice bathroom with showers, toilet and washing facilities.

Ideal place for a backpacker with a limited budget. Located close to the city center. Very hospitable hosts. It felt more like a home stay than staying at a hotel.

Great stay for the price! We got the private ger, which was super comfortable and cozy—everything was clean, well-decorated and convenient for the price (the private bathroom is a plus).

If you are coming to Ulan Bataar, stay at one of Anand's places!

Zaya hostel has great location close to the State department store by the Peace avenue. Friendly staff. Good and reliable airport transfer service.

Great boutique guesthouse with home feeling. The hospitality and service by the manager Temuge was in next level. You can get accurate information about all of your Mongolian life and trip ideas.

A very unique type of hostel, it feels more like a shared appartment. The highlight is the sweetest kitty who is constantly begging for attention.

I stayed at the hostel for three nights, and it was one of my best stays in Ulaanbaatar. The place is very clean and spacious.

Liked · Stayed here in a dorm room for 3 nights in Oct 2025
1. Excellent location very close to the heart of the city. Couple of GS25 and Nice2CU stores within a min or two away.

Great stay. Good staff. Nice bed. Location is great and it is clean. I only spent 2 days here and it felt homey. The staffs are welcoming.

Had a great stay at Zaya hostel. The room and bathroom were spotless clean, so were the common areas.

We stayed here 4 nights and absolutely loved it. Such a warm oasis in the winter cold Mongolia.

Everything was perfect! The rooms are tidy and clean, and the location is excellent, very close to the center with everything you need.

Kind and attentive check in service from owner. Location is amazing, right next to the state department store. The service apartment is well furnished too. An enjoyable stay!

This was an incredible tour and I can't recommend it enough! Our private guide Melody and driver, Airka, went above and beyond to make this a truly authentic experience.

I highly recommend Danista Nomads for its hostel and tours! As a female traveling with another female, it felt super safe at the hostel and during the tour.
