It was a wonderful experience staying at Town Yard Hostel and joining the 3-day tour organized by the host. We stayed in a twin room with a private bathroom, which was clean and cozy.

Great value, clean. The location is very convenient, next to the famous Gandan temple. Room rates were very reasonable, simple breakfast included. They offer taxi service to an airport.

Didnt stay there but went on to a tour with them, 4d3n across Khustai and Terelj national parks and new year celebrate with nomad families.

To anyone looking for suggestions for a trip to Mongolia, I highly recommend Vast Mongolia Tour, which introduced us to this magnificent country last August.

I really like the place. The especially went for the pods as I’ve never seen one. It was a really interesting experience. I really liked that the sleeping place is confined. It makes you feel secure.

Ideal place for a backpacker with a limited budget. Located close to the city center. Very hospitable hosts. It felt more like a home stay than staying at a hotel.

Great stay for the price! We got the private ger, which was super comfortable and cozy—everything was clean, well-decorated and convenient for the price (the private bathroom is a plus).

Great hostel for a good price in Ulaanbaatar! You get a little breakfast, a kitchen to prep food in and a refrigerator… oh also hot shower and plenty of people to meet!

A calm and clean guesthouse in the older section of Ulan Bataar. You are near the Gandan monastery and it’s a short walk to the museums and downtown.

Had a great stay at Zaya hostel. The room and bathroom were spotless clean, so were the common areas.

We stayed here 4 nights and absolutely loved it. Such a warm oasis in the winter cold Mongolia.

They took good care of me! I did the 20 day tour which was an amazing trip ive got some many memories from it. Our tour guide Obold was the best I feel like i’ve made a real friend there.

Probably the best-situated hostel in UB, but what truly set it apart was the staff. They were the most accommodating people I’ve met. AMRA was as knowledgeable as ChatGPT.

I highly recommend Danista Nomads for its hostel and tours! As a female traveling with another female, it felt super safe at the hostel and during the tour.

Very clean and organised. Shared sleeping (bunk beds together in a room) but way clearer and nicer than you might expect from that description.

Very big, nice furnished flat but there is no washing machine, also in the facility, had to ask for hairdryer, no coffee machine as mentioned.

Stay here for a week. The room is so clean and comftable. There are many grocery stores around, very convenient. The landlady is very friendly and helpful.
