Beautiful old hacienda with a botanical garden, converted into a boutique hotel. It has excellent restaurant service and delicious food. Very quiet atmosphere and spa service. Highly recommended.

Very nice hacienda for lunch.

My wife and I came here two years ago and we just had to return. Staff greeted us at the car and has been amazingly attentive ever since our arrival. We love birds, and the grounds are excellent for early morning birding. We spotted parrots, a mot mot, orioles, pygmy owl, mockongbirds, woospeckers to name the most spectacular. The bird guide is very knowledgeable. If you want tranquility and natural surroundings this is the placed for you.

Only ate lunch here but I'd love to stay. I didn't look into prices but judging on how amazing everything looked I think it might be out of my price range. Fantastically restored hacienda with charm and history.

The resort was in a bit of a strange location, at the very end of a very impoverished village. This was a bit intimidating at first, but the locals seemed friendly and interested in seeing the tourists as we drove through several times. First, the good. EXCELLENT customer service. It seemed as if you were the most important person they've ever had at the resort. The restaurant was excellent, their quesadilla with guacamole was my favorite food from the entire trip. The resort is "cool" and old. It has a getaway feel to it. Now, the bad. First, if you do not like bugs, stay away. There are all types of bugs, including mosquitos, all over the resort and in the room. We even found a lizard in our room. Also, the toilet and shower area did not seem very clean. It was a gross experience while using the bathroom. Although we did not use the pool, it looked nice and decent size. If you are into antiquities and can handle the bugs, this place is perfect for you. But people used to the typical hotel stay, beware.

Cool Place in the middle of nowhere… liked the food there a lot.

This was our 4th time back over a 20 year period. It's still very well kept and maintained! The pools, rooms, and grounds are beautiful! Just don't get to set on the wine list, because they didn't have many of the wines on it. The food is subpar, but the ambiance is worth it! Staff is great!

Fantastic food in a beautiful hacienda. I had a steak stuffed with spinach and a few other veggies that was great! The grounds were stunning with a awesome pool. Worth checking out if you are in the area.

Forgotten entirely by the municipality. Lack of water, streets full of potholes, stealing home room, lighting failure public. Homex is a disgrace not to buy here.
