I, as well as pretty much everyone I overheard, remarked on the BEAUTY of this large, SPACIOUS, very well-maintained and CLEAN house. "Almost like a palace, " many, including myself, said on entering.
Jacque's a lovely, kind and generous woman with whom it's very easy to get along. I was there a total of 11 nights and never once found any of the house rules to be the slightest bit unreasonable.
The house is located 3 blocks from the Malecon, which takes you all the way down to the edge of the city. Even during slow season there are lots of dining options as well as people … in the ocean, on the beach, strolling on the malecon, eating in the restaurants.
My favourite beach is less than ½ block from our door; a beach where you don't have to take many steps into the water to be immersed to your shoulders. While you may share the beach and ocean with one or 2 people at times, usually you'll enjoy it all to yourself. Then, but a few steps back to the house wrapped in a sarong or a towel; not like walking so far to get home while still wet and covered with sand when you come back from the malecon. Just another perk, is all.
The constant strong, warm breeze rushing the house upstairs and down is absolutely delightful. That said there are also many spaces available to avoid the breeze, if that's your preference.
I can't think of one single thing I would have preferred whilst enjoying Jacque's hostel. As was Mary Poppins: Jacque's Beachside Hostel is.
Practically Perfect in Every Way.
