Beautiful place to spend a few days to relax, has all the services except Internet in rooms and the reception of telephony is not good but if one is going to forget the slopes it is the best that can happen.

Quiet place, nice atmosphere.

We extended our stay because it was so nice and had good beaches.

Very quiet and secluded from the city. Excellent for rest. Very familiar.

The area of the garden, the pools and the beach is very nice. It has two pools. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious!

Cool! The facilities are good, you can free turtles, see the crocodiles, be in contact with nature. The perfect meal also:)

Very good place to relax… Good food extensive beach… I have 3 years vacationing the hotel… and surely continue to attend…
However I commented Q does not have access to people with disabilities or the restaurant or to the beach… It's almost impossible by high steps.
Hopefully the managers see this review to put a good access ramp for the beach… both for older adults and people with disabilities Q can not currently access.
I have not been able to take my mom even if she asked me just for that reason… The food could be taken at the pool tables and already… but as I step to the beach with it?
I keep high the rating because I hope to improve Q…

Every year it happened twice a year for 5 years each holiday period as a stopover to eat with the family and sometimes with friends, at the end allowed access to the beach, but obviously not the use of pool or areas of the hotel that interfere with guests (understandable), this holiday I stumbled upon the surprise that they restricted this activity, for which there is no type of notification. Also some foods like the seafood casserole among others besides raising the price made it smaller. Reasons why I will not return in addition to inform all acquaintances of such update and why I changed my review and rating. And again it is understandable its updating but itself causing this review and qualification.

It is an excellent place, highly recommended to enjoy the tranquility. Only, I would have liked to have a souvenir shop, the proposal that is in reception, is more than limited.
The attention is wonderful, in all the facilities, but a special recognition, for the restaurant staff, the waiters, are really extremely friendly and efficient.
I hope to return very soon.

A beautiful place to rest, live with nature and forget about the everyday. The suite room is wonderful, huge, clean, comfortable, luxurious and with a spectacular view. Point against it is only for two people and is on the top floor of the building, which is only accessed by stairs that are somewhat tired. Something that I did not like very much was that they are very strict and only give you room until it is fulfilled the check-in time (so they made us see), although it is already vacated and clean; I know it is a regulation, but in many hotels I have been touched that if I arrive before immediately they give you the room.
Overall very good.

The Beach and the view are much worth it. The Hotel is good but can improve, since it has several details that fall short: there are few lounge chairs and palapas on the beach, the pools are icy but with very clean water, the mattresses and pillows in the rooms are not the best and the sprinkler of one of the CU Artos didn't work properly. Despite this we would certainly Go back for the excellent service, the view, the food and the tranquility of the hotel.

There Are too many things to see and do. The Hotel is very large as far as facilities are concerned: it has a restaurant, 2 swimming pools, lagoon, tennis court, event Hall, Cocodrilario and Tortuguero camp. They Also have different activities, canoeing, horseback riding, fishing, biking, bonfires, massages.
It Is ideal for a whole weekend, because one day Is not enough. And also to disconnect from the world as there is no cell phone signal and there is only Wi-Fi in the reception.
You Have to visit him!

Wonderful and amazing for those who do not look for shops, nightclubs, noise and people consuming. It's a place of peace and no shops.

Excellent place, private and in very good condition. Ideal to rest and forget the stress of the city. The pools very well and the restaurant with excellent service and taste of the food at low price. The beach was very nice and comfortable.

The place is beautiful, I give it 4 stars because they have areas of opportunity.
Example: They lack a store or place where you can buy something to spend on the beach; Tell yourself a beer, soda or snack. Although there is the restaurant the access from the beach is a bit far. Hopefully and keep it that way and better those little weak points.

The hotel is kind of simple, the beach is nice, the restaurant closes at 8 but hey the beer is cheap.

The room I am staying is huge, clean, and very nice. It is lovely and in in par with nature. We have crocodile, eagles and bird of paradise walking around. And if that is not your thing, the restaurant is amazing, plus prices are decent. I recommend this place.

The hotel structure is great. The pool is nice, rooms with air conditioner are great. But the employees need more training. I am here since Monday and I'll stay until Friday. I've been trying to schedule the horse ride since day 1. They are always "coming tomorrow". On Tuesday there was a cockroach in the bathroom: ok, I understand how hard it is to control them in Mexico. We killed it, next day the lady cleaned our room but the cockroach is still there. The food is always so, so. Yesterday it was my boyfriend's birthday and not even a coffee was offered as courtesy. Speaking about coffee, at this very moment I am having breakfast when suddenly something floats inside My coffee cup. A baby cockroach. No apologies, they just took my coffee away. I am a bit disappointed with all this, the hotel has everything to be great. Please take more care of your customers.

The most beautifull place to be in family, no cellphones, no Wi-Fi, no nothing, just you and your partners.

If of disconnect is of the world stressful it is, this magical hotel is ideal. In construction and constant remodeling think that deserves this good rating.

You restrict to do many things, doesn't even have Wi-Fi in hotel or cellular signal and to enter is super ugly at night everything dark and pit road.

A great place away from people, where you can forget the rest of the world, relax and spend a great night's sleep, the facilities are well, peacocks and iguanas are the hotel what are great, tennis, ping pong, palapas, etc. The price affordable and with many options, in the suites with jacuzzi does well the Internet signal, (which is good and bad), the staff, especially from the restaurant where rico eats and cheap, it is excellent, even told us when they reached to see dolphins near the coast, would definitely return. You need insect repellent for insects, as a precaution.

Hotel Istirinchá is located on the beach and surrounded by a large expanse of endemic vegetation of the region. In addition, within its vast territory you can see a crocodile farm ranging from those as small as 30 cm to those exceeding 1.5 m long. Restaurant you can find dishes typical of the region of a taste delicious, but be careful because the portions are big. The service employees is the best.
If I had to point out one area of opportunity, I would say that a bit of maintenance as well lacks as phone to order room service, perhaps that is the reason why the hotel has only 4 stars.

The hotel URGES you a better service, in general the property is in regular conditions of operation: 1. — POOL dirty. 2. — areas of pool and baths poorly served with trash to the view. 3. — beach access with stairs destroyed. 4. — the grass of the gardens this dry. Inside the ROOMS would miss: 5. — drawers to store clothing. 6. — coffee, we are in the coffee zone and you have to pay $30 for coffee each morning. 7. — in general the amenities of a 4 star hotel: hair dryer, iron, bottle opener, mini-bar, radio, bench for luggage, and at least repaint often stains of dubious origin. 8. — renew or change the brand and type of mattress for a few more quality, they are hard. 9. — renew your AA as some are dilapidated and do not provide the complete functions. Speaking of the RESTAURANT, by the way of a good taste, should implementarle service buffet for breakfast, at least in high season, the wait service is not bad, but lack of reporting concerns of guests to the manager, in addition should take into account that the restored decent closer this to kilometers and gives slack to leave. It is a great place for rest, the service and the food is very good, the flora and fauna that are beautiful. And there are many activities to do within their facilities. I loved the peacocks and crocodiles. Clear to come back to go.

Very quiet, clean, friendly English. Rest here only local. I think this is due to the difficult access (from Mexico rode order 7 hours due to mountain serpentines and numerous villages).
From landmark: mini-menagerie, releasing turtles into the sea, swimming pools warm, place absolutely wild (except for residents of the hotel no one for miles right or left on the edge of the sea.
For a relaxing holiday with children is an ideal place. But the sea is open.
It is possible to arrange a fishing trip.

Very beautiful hotel, delicious food and private beach. Clean and comfortable. The only bad thing that there is no internet or telephone in the rooms. Recommendation: take a flashlight to walk along the beach and the garden at night because it is not very well lit.
