I'm just staying one day, the next day I changed hotel, it is very bad taste that to be provided with the controls of the TV you have to leave 100 pesos as a deposit, I ordered an iron and I had to leave another 200, I asked for a cover and tmb that had to leave another 200, because heating did not have, for the hot water you had to leave the water running about 15 min to get out is a lot of waste of water apart that flooded the bathroom because the water came out, the rooms weren't carpeted either… the vdd decayed a lot the hotel about 3 years ago was ok now I do not know because they have those conditions, if they can stay in another do it.

This hotel is more or less.
I'd only give it three stars. I stayed three nights. It has the basics to rest. It doesn't have beautiful views and could not be called elegant. The staff at reception is friendly but in the restaurant it is lousy. The location is medium term as it is neither close to the beach nor near the center (it is in front of the airport).
Pros: Large underground parking (self park your car). A continental breakfast is included. Large pool (albeit with cold water). It features a small gym. Cleaning in the room more or less. In price-quality is average.
Cons: The furniture in the room is a bit old (smells of old wood). Only some rooms have a flat-screen TV (the one that touched me was with old lady TV). The Wi-Fi never worked. Elevators are old and 2 only 1 works. In the hallway they left for days the dirty dishes of the room service. On the balcony you can see that they have never removed the pops of pigeons.
The best: The parking and the pool.
The worst: The time they take in the restaurant.

Very good attention because the staff is very friendly the prices are very accessible and if you do not want to leave you stay to enjoy with your family of the pool.

Horrible, don't stay in that hotel, the customer ethencion well below the standard everyone with jeta, in the kitchen super slow for the service, the food is face to comparison of what you serve, the old lemons for lemonade, super d you must leave 200 deposit pesos to be provided with an iron and 100 pesos for a check, the rooms look like motel step, zero comfortable mattress the sheets, quilts and pillows of very low quality, when you ask inform tell you that they give breakfast pe they don't specify that it's continental, and it's either juice or fruit and when you ask for both because you bring kids and because you're going to pay you they make you jeta and turn your eyes.

This comfortable and nice hotel, but the receptionist does not smile and did not seem a good deal, Osea arrived and did not look at us until we had to talk to us, not a good day or something like that, the truth had a terrible face.

It is very expensive for what it offers, to rest this well, in the pool the water looked cloudy and in general the smell of the hotel is like moisture. The staff is not rude but lacks warmth.

Well this is quite comforting, there was one other problem with the card of the room but from there in out everything in order.

The service is good, and the installations/rooms are clean, there's a good size pool. But the breakfast included was not to my liking. The parking lot and the stairs to the parking lot smells bad, and have exposed pipelines.

The Vdd is an excellent option if you visit the city good facilities and very good service…

The Truth was a terrible experience to stay at this hotel, at the time of making the reservation I was offered American breakfast and on request I only got coffee with toast, I never stay here again…

All in all it is an old hotel, away from the center and the beach. The old facilities are always in maintenance the pool and elevators are not working. The receptionist in the afternoon with lousy attitude to attend, rude and does not resolve the customer's requests. The Wi-Fi of lousy quality. Superchiquita pool. The only good thing is the restaurant. The price does not compensate for the quality of the service. I do not recommend… Sure you'll find better service at the Holiday Inn which is 1 km ahead.

It's a great hotel the room and the views were excellent, the only downside I find is that the pool water was very very cold but from there on out it was great.

The gym has not been opened since my arrival (arrive on December 25 and we are 29 and not painted so it is open! ) WATERS WITH BREAKFAST INCLUDED! they are eggs with egg egg! they have no buffet breakfast, besides that if you go in a group, to organize down to have breakfast at the same time, because it turns out that if not low, even when you have 7 to 10:30 am, have to ask all at the same time! and the worst thing was the attitude in the restaurant! I give it 2 stars by the attitude of the people from room service and cleaning between the receptionist and cleaning people are the only 2 stars that I gave them! In these Easter holidays 2010 was hosted at the Grand Royal Hotel and I had an excellent stay, is a well-nice Hotel, where were the family, since it has all the services within the same as restaurant, swimming pool and a small gym. On top of this its rates are very affordable.
Really that recommend it.

they are two towers, it has 4 or 5 floors, it is a homey hotel, it has balconies on all sides and with different views of pleasant in addition to pool. Not far from anything as tampico is not very large. The price makes it to be a good choice since rooms are not bad and the people who work there is also accessible, that the migadas are very good :DDD
