Had an amazing time perfect location especially if you have children. Food was really good and service amazing. Hotel needs a bit of renovation but overall very satisfied with our stay. Truly recommend staying in the presidential suite best view and great size.

Had a blast with the family. The service was great, only took one star because the place is in need of some updates. For example, Sliding door was broken (couldn't be locked), the kids play pool area is missing small tiles from the bottom of the pool, the game room should be eliminated because most of the games are not working. We would definitely come back.

Good price, nice view to the beach and common area with pools and access to the beach. The hotel needs renovations as it is old. I recommend to spend family weekends with children.

Good place, very good pool. Cleaning in the bathrooms of the room is missing as the water in the tub took a long time to leave. You do very well.

It is a very beautiful hotel, with swimming pool, private beach, restaurant… the rooms are nice, the prices are super accessible up in the rooms overlooking the sea! the food is very rich and varied. I recommend it 110%.

Hotel needed to be upgraded for sure but for price it wasn't bad. You do need to rent a car and drive 1 1/2 away so I recommend you get rental. They will try to gauge you so I would suggest you exchange money at a local money exchange or your bank for the going price and take money.

Not the beat experienece. Very family (kid) friendly hotel. A little beat down from the years. I could tell this hotel was very nice in the 70’s but maintenace has not been kept up in all areas of the hotel. Rooms only get serviced every 2 days.

Good Place in San Carlos, nice big rooms comfortable spacious and clean, 240 my room good view to the sea, the restaurants all together Xon the bars are good, the palapa is somewhat expensive but in if it is nice place to go back, pool with children area and a PE Queño jacuzzi.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Service has been good so far, the building and facilities need some upgrades, specially the room bathrooms, prices of the restaurants are a tad on the expensive side, management has been responsive at any issue and maintenance is very quick to fix any issue with the room.

I am very sad for my visit in this hotel, very poor customer service, we touched a room lousy so we paid:/example the most ugly and old bed in the world and the sprinkler almost kills you of the pressure that comes out the water, literal leaves you a Moreton in the skin and finally my best friend stole the wedding ring on his honeymoon… so: (we will never go there again. : (

They are very good at delivering the rooms. The entrance as it was at 4:00 and handed it to me at 6. It lacks a lot of training for staff.

Good service and facilities. The location is good and quiet but little accessible at peak times of high season; It can take more than an hour from there to the center of SC.

It is very nice although a bit sloppy, has several areas as it is a hotel for events. For lighting and some views of the rooms it still will not improve. The pool area is leaving the hotel for those who prefer that to get to the beach that is a few meters from the hotel;)

The place is nice but lack to give maintenance to the facilities, the end that we were not serving the main pool, do not let you put ice maker or food (if you do charge 800 pesos), has several details but if it is only for a weekend is comfortable.

The hotel is nice, a beautiful view of the bay, the food very rich, but it lacks repairs to the hotel and the people attending, particularly the ladies try to smile at those who stayed, some looked tired and annoying and I say women because it was what Watched.

We arrived after midnight while a tropical storm was hitting the area. One of the windows was blown out at 3 AM and the front desk got us immediately a new upgraded room. Hotel needs some more maintenance and the rooms are simple and clean. Over all we had a nice stay and would go back.

I love its beach and its external restaurant overlooking the sea.

Probably once was nice, but management is bad, they clip an arm band on you, which I think is absurd for a supposed hi end hotel to do, they wouldn't let us Cary a bottle of wine to our room! No frige, no ice machine, key cards failed 3 time's, just not well managed.

The lodging is still expensive and they are building another pool. But I highly recommend visiting the restaurant La Palapa which is open for the purposes of semans and is on the beach. Excellent fresh seafood with an unforgettable view. You have to watch the sunset!

The water in the shower wasn't hot, the restaurant closes too early, besides that everything is great.

This review is getting a one star due to its poor customer service and incompetent staff. My family and I stayed there the weekend of 12/30/17-1/1/18. It all started the first night. The room was extremely hot and uncomfortably stuffy. We would turn the ac on but nothing would happen. It would only blow the hot air around. Outside was nice and cool, but even leaving the balcony door open wouldn’t help as the air wouldn’t circulate. My dad must have gone to the lobby to see if they can resolve anything as quickly as possible as there was also a 7 month old in the room. It took my dad about 4 trips to the lobby to finally get a real response as to why the air wasn’t working. They control the air there as to save money when the temp is cool outside. The problem is that we are not sleeping outside. That night was such a hassle but finally after about 4 hours of arguing, our ac started working. At 3am! When we checked out we asked for a discount for that night only due to our high inconvenience but nothing was done. We argued for about an hour after checkout but no resolution. The next two days we finally got a hold of someone who told us they would call back at 3pm Friday. Still nothing!

Good value for money, not always breakfast buffet but if you walk a bit there are options to eat well and very rich.

Old but with good effort to keep it. The rooms petfriendly bad view. But I give you four stars for accepting pets. In case you don't know, those of us who travel with small dogs are more careful than those with small children. Well located.

Excellent customer Service, in rooms you can improve the facilities but it manages to satisfy the need of the guest. All very attentive and friendly.

Rooms that meet basic purposes. They need some maintenance.
One of the most emblematic hotels in San Carlos. Especially advisable to go in warm seasons, being from spring to autumn times more than excellent to enjoy the pools with which the hotel counts.
It has various amenities and services to spend a pleasant stay.

Very old place, very dirty, very dirty beach.

The only thing I don't like is that there are not many shops or restaurants nearby.

El hotel es muy bonito, la vista y jardines hermosos, el personal del restaurante de la palapa en el lobby excelente… personal de limpieza y guardias también… mención especial para Pilar… ella si sabe dar calidad en el servicio. Mal el mantenimiento de las habitaciones, muy mal la actitud de una señora ya grande (no sé su nombre) ella está a cargo de área de albercas por las mañanas… Y al personal de recepción (con excepción de un joven y una señorita morenita que sabe sonreír) les urge un curso de calidad en el servicio! Hay que amar lo que uno hace o de plano buscar otro empleo pues son la causa de las bajas calificaciones del hotel. Lo demás bien.

They are not so modern the facilities but it is still good hotel overall. The restaurant was very good and the location was great.

Beds are hard as rocks. The Wi-Fi password didn't work. The food didn't matter what you got it still tasted the same. (I didn't try the Italian place but the pizza and Mexican food were bland. ) Our rooms floor wasn't swept and our pizza box was just put out side the room door on top of another garbage. (We had pickup all of our things off the floor so it could be swept. ) The waiters are nice and kind. It has an amazing view as well as a nice beach. The location is the only reason I'd ever come back.

The rooms are nice with an amazing view of the pool and beach. The staff are very kind and helpful. One thing to look out for is leaving your room. The doors don't always close all the way on their own so you want to make sure you close them before leaving.

Pros: Nice ocean view with private beach, great pool. Cons: restaurant and lobby area very warm, the building is very old and needs to be remodeled, check in is not @3pm as stated in the web, we got our room until 6pm.

Rooms are clean and somewhat spacious, the pool deck needs a lot of maintenance, it is chipped all around the pool. Also the beds by the pool need new matresses the existing ones are stained and the fabric is worn out and the original color is totally faded. There is a lot of smoke inside the building during breakfast hours. Nice ocean views from the rooms and their section of the beach is good too. They have a small bar which smells like vomit and it is open only a few hours during the day, but you can go to their restaurant and buy your drinks, I heard that the food takes a long time but I just had a few drinks and the bartender and cashier were helpful and fun to talk with.

Looks cool and provides many different services. There are special offers for couples, so if you will be there-pay attention to it.

One place with a good view to the beach, all very father.

Missing chairs and shadows in the pool for the capacity of the hotel area. In addition to the beds and chairs in this area are very impaired and suciosos. Our time of entry was to them 4 pm and entered until the 5:40 hour that finally released the fourth. The good part is its buffet, good variety of food, the swimming pools are very well.

In general is a good hotel, the workers of the place were friendly, but if could improve on some details. For example, the rooms and the furniture already occupy something of remodeling, including the baths showers. They could also improve the service in the pool area, having someone who treats the bar and snacks constantly.

A hotel with good things, as at the foot of the beach, very nice and clean swimming pools and excellent restaurant, the only downside is that rooms lack modernizing them but in general though (has Internet in the entire hotel, television with pay television led and even soaps are good.

Very nice place, but terrible organization, we arrived early and not let us register until 4 pm and at 4 pm a row of 2 hrs was made to be able to register and they almost take the reservation, that add q heating does not work and the tele fails, I hope to improve.

Great hotel, very poor service, its construction is a symbol of San Carlos, sonora. But to get to the hotel workers, they argue among themselves and customers are the worst.

Good location in playa algodones them and close bars, the beautiful but a little dirty Beach much seaweed and the season many stingrays. Spacious rooms, poolside this father and very friendly reception but a little slow. In general it is good for the price. The clean rooms.

If I could give 0 star it would : ( My experience was this 11/28 Saturday we were staying in room 117, we had a conversation very entertaining when suddenly a mouse made presence my nieces and premium nomas brincaban fear check at reception and the security said, because there was no worker. We change to another room k or the TELEVICION serbia. We ended the night : (In the morning I asked to speak with the manager and I had NEVER met with unGERENTE so DESPOT that did not resolve anything only said that the could not refund anything and that the hotel had a single owner personal… so k clean hands! Be careful with the MICE maybe there farm was fat and black My reason for noting my experience is the MANAGER, who not serves as the MANAGER. Should make happy the customer with facts not with all the roll of talk that miss you : (

Comfortable and pleasant stay. One of the best hotels of San Carlos.

It is a pity that the hotel does not have a proper maintenance; the rooms are old, with a musty smell. The service is lousy and not worth even half the cost of the night. The breakfast is good, however, it is unpleasant to eat as many flies hovering around. Looking for other options!

I give it one star only because it is the minimum, the truth the service is pesimo, I stay 4 nights and the room is very old and the air conditioning was not working properly. Only the manager of the bar was super attentive to the degree of thank you and to point out the evil of his companions. PS: look for another hotel.

One star is too much for this hotel. The administration is arrogant and lacks empathy for the customers. They think they can get away with it because they are not part of a chain of hotels that will keep an eye on them. This is my experience: They overbooked the hotel and gave my room to someone else. I had been promised a room with a view to the ocean. Instead, they wanted me to stay at a room that is far away from the elevators and with a terrible view, and old. I had invited my mother who is 82 years old and cannot walk very well. To make the story short, when I complained they were unresponsive and did not give a damn of my situation. When I asked to speak with the manager, they said he was not there and were not able to reach him (? ). After 45 minutes the manager showed up and was even more rude and inconsiderate that the front desk manager. After all the time discussing, my mother suddenly became ill and I had to take her to the hospital. I asked for a refund but they did not give it to me. They said I was at the hotel, which was a lie. At the end, they never returned the $450 dollars that I paid for 3 days. Watch out with them! If you are looking for a pleasant vacation I would recommend you to go somewhere else.

We were staying for a week, we are from Guaymas but we live in Queretaro, the truth I found:
1 — service deficient staff, very indifferent when the Mexico beaches are extremely friendly, CANCUN, IXTAPA and LOS CABOS. Etc, etc
2 — the rooms as they are re modeled, of dondeeee, climate not cut when it came to the temperature, the windows of the balcony opened freely, not rail balcony unpainted, malis mattresses and bad smell.
3 — 4 day already dirty pool no longer me you my daughters the last few days, bad painted and descarapelados slides, very bad bone
I keep commenting on it, really you know what areas of opportunity to improve conditions.

Facilities are generally in very good condition and very elegant lobby, but the rooms are very old and neglected.

Don't let SRAP for 12 p above.

Excellent place to rest.

Watch out! My nephew is getting married here so we booked the room a month in advance. The people who waited until the last minute got the same rooms for $40 dollars less than we did. The hotel would not refund our difference. Kind of tacky I thought.
