Sueños Tulum

If you are looking for restorative peace, you’ve found it. I came to Tulum looking for healing — spent a few days at a retreat center in the jungle and then was looking for an oasis near the ocean.
I’ve stayed in multiple hotels in Tulum over the years but 𝕊𝕦𝕖𝕟̃𝕠𝕤 will now have my heart. Caring staff, beautiful, comfortable rooms, a safe, private feeling beach… it felt like a luxury family environment.
Grateful for every sunset there.
Close enough to the action and shopping if you want that, far enough to get peaceful sleep if your vibing that way.

It’s a fantastic stay. Family running hotel, with love in each detail. Design of the hotel is fantastic and rooms are perfect (if you are couple — master suite is recommended strongly). If you want to rest and relax this is a place you have to choose. Only 15-20 minutes walking by beach to night dancing clubs in the centre of zone. Restaurant at the hotel is very good also and only for people who stay at the hotel and pricing is very reasonable for Tulum. Not like beach clubs hotels where people can buy tickets and use facilities. Suppose it was the best hotel for our 3weeks trip in Mexico. Great shop is nearby (1 minute walk) — you can buy what you want (cold beer, wine, cheese, jamon, even coffee). Great!

We had a wonderfully relaxing Christmas at Sueños. The rooms are comfortable. They had a crib and mosquito net for our <2 year old son, and offered him beach toys to play with. It’s clear that the family that runs Sueños and all their staff take deep pride in offering top notch service and caring for the environment. The property itself is gorgeous, intimate, and full of trees and soft sand. The staff rake the beaches and separate trash and organics. They have truly thought about every detail. They also helped us with restaurant reservations, arranged a tour of Sian Ka’an Biosphere with a great private tour company, and gave us helpful tips for touring Tulum. Highly recommend staying at Sueños. We hope to return!

The owners are the loveliest people and their staff excellent. Food is prepared everyday by order only so there is no waste and guaranteed fresh.
The rooms have breathtaking views, very confortable and super clean.

We had the best time at Suenos, this is the most special hotel we have ever stayed at. You can move around barefoot and the hotel grounds are just magical like a Mayan jungle sanctuary. The beach is the most wonderful we have ever seen, with white sand, turquoise shallow warm water and the prettiest fish. The beach was so private and calm, the nicest part we’ve seen left and right. The breakfast especially and all food and drinks were delicious. We loved everyone working here and the super cute dogs, it truly felt like staying with friends.
It was great for the kids, we were able to borrow sand toys and all food requests were made possible.
The location is perfect, with their own parking area and a supermarket right across the street and amazing restaurants to the left and right in walking distance. I recommend renting a car to visit the ruins and cenotes. Thank you for a week in paradise!

After nearly 14 years, I had the chance to return to the beautiful town of Tulum 🇲🇽 and stay once again at Cabañas Sueños Tulum. From the moment I arrived, everything felt just as magical as I remembered — the warm and welcoming staff 🤗, the stunning natural surroundings 🌴, and a cozy room (Luna) with breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea 🌊.
Over the years, the lush vegetation has grown beautifully 🌺, adding even more charm and privacy to the property. It’s peaceful, authentic, and full of soul — a true hidden gem.
Sueños holds a very special place in my heart ❤️, and I’m so grateful I got to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene, unforgettable stay in Tulum.

Everything about this place is beautiful! Our family of 5 adults from Australia spent a week at Suenos and we loved every minute of it 💝 it’s in the best location and the staff maintain the beachfront to perfection. The whole resort is gorgeous. It’s a tranquil Small boutique property and even though there were other guests we felt like it was our own private home! The staff, the accommodation, the food, the daily breakfast, the whole place is uniquely divine! Thank you so much Yare and the rest of the staff. The rooms are a work of art in themselves. Thoughtfully designed, they feature hand painted murals and artisanal details that capture the essence of Mexico in a unique and authentic way. It’s hard to imagine finding anything quite like it elsewhere.
The restaurant’s food is not just delicious, it nourishes the soul. Every dish is prepared with care and love, using fresh ingredients and homemade flavors: freshly baked bread in the mornings, handmade jams… a true feast for the senses.
The yoga classes are a transformative experience. The teacher, with her precision and sensitivity, leads sessions that are accessible to all levels, making even beginners feel comfortable and inspired to continue on this path.
I guarantee that when you leave, you’ll do so with just one thought in mind: wanting to return again and again. 💫

Sueños Tulum is an amazing place to stay, with the best, most welcoming people managing the resort. I was so grateful for a comfortable visit with great food and the best margaritas (thanks, Ivan)! The resort is right on the beach and has beautiful, unique room options. I got a holistic massage during my visit, which was magical. I stayed here for a retreat, and there were hand drawn chalkboard signs greeting us every day, which really made our mornings! Sueños Tulum is in a walkable location right by many restaurants and shops, so it was super easy for us to explore. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking to soak up Tulum!

Suenos is a lovely place, very special, a small hotel that just might be the best place to stay in all of Tulum. The garden is gorgeous, and the beach blissful. I appreciated that there was plenty of shade available on the beach, under substantial palapas or on sun beds with shades or even swaying on a hammock strung between two coconut palms. There's also a beautiful pool tucked away in the garden for a dip. The food is superb — a beautiful breakfast that's complimentary every morning that made me feel like I'd woken up in paradise (we had colorful birds hopping around us as we ate. ) The chef also prepared us beautiful dinners — healthy, delicious and reasonably priced, so we wound up eating at the hotel almost every night. The staff is superb — friendly and helpful and always there but also not there, if you want to be left alone. We read on the beach, swam in the waves, took long long beach walks on the sand, enjoyed romantic dinners. It was a perfect getaway. After ten days, we were so relaxed, even the prospect of heading home seemed okay. This beautiful garden of a small hotel really is the ultimate getaway. And you can just walk down the beach if you feel like shaking your tail feathers at one of the louder, larger places with the djs spinning electronica. We were happy to chill in the quiet and beauty of Suenos.

This is my third time to Tulum and I would say this is my favorite place to stay. Perfect integration of design, nature and function.
Staff is super friendly and professional on all levels I hate to leave! The food is fresh and tasty!

Heaven on earth! If you like seclusion with natural a environment and like good food, this is the place for you.

Some people come tu Tulum cause it’s a place to see and been seen, but Sueños is a place to not to be seen, all though if you want to be in the action scene there are many places close by.
