The place is not 4-stars but felt like upping its overall rating because I don’t think it deserves such bad reviews. Sure, it’s a bit cramped and needs better upkeep but still offers comfortable beds, with curtains, individual sockets and ample storage room, nice common areas and a very good breakfast, changing every day. None of the hostel’s 3 Wi-Fi networks is particularly strong but there’s an open one around that gets the job done. The staff are great and create a cool social atmosphere but without disturbing the quiet time (too much😊)
I stayed at Daytripper for almost a week and was very happy with the place. People are really nice and it’s easy to meet other travelers. The hostel has everything all necessities and a good Wi-Fi. Also, breakfast was included, which was amazing. Nice chill vibes, definetly value for money!

Wow this hostel was great! It is in a perfect location right beside the main Tulum strip, and it felt very safe as a young female traveller. The amenities were great and the atmosphere. The staff were very helpful and welcoming and the owner was great and helped us organise cool places to see and things to do. The vibes in the hostel were so chill and relaxed I felt completely at home there. It was the perfect place to see and experience Tulum and I met fantastic lifelong friends there! The breakfast was great and I will be back 100%!
