Nice place to stay but just remember your in the jungle and mosquitoes are everywhere. Clubs next door start the music early and stay open late. So if your a lite sleeper or are not there to party this may not be a good fit. Close to shopping eating and entertainment.
Not good for us. Here is what you need to know.
If you are here to party until 1am this stay will likely be fine. For the location it is a good price relative to the resorts. The room was perfectly fine for the price. We quite liked it in fact. We are used to booking budget stays. We stayed in one of two rooms that are in the building (not a dome/tent).
Pros.
— location.
— there is a small fridge.
— AC next to bed.
— nice big shower, with hot water.
— king size bed.
-dedicated work space.
-small coffee maker (no coffee provided)
-cute decor.
The cons.
— spotty Wi-Fi.
— you have to ring a bell to leave or enter the only exit to the property (it is padlocked).
— next door property blasting music until 1 am shaking the walls even on Sunday night.
— large generator at the front gate was also loud. Could hear it all day and night from our room.
— there are ants. It’s the jungle, not a big deal really.
— there is no food or drink or any consumables really on the property.
— no easy beach access. No friendship with neighbors for beach access either.
— hosts at property don’t speak English.
For us not acceptable, for someone looking to party every day on a budget relative to the resorts, maybe 5 stars.

Room is nice and tidy. It's like a mix of an Iglu and a tent in the jungle.
AC worked well, beds are comfortable, showers are good. Lots of space.
Wi-Fi was poor.
The outside door couldn't be closed completely so I always had some insects coming in.
No direct contact of the hotel to the beach. You have to cross another resort. To use the places there in the shadow you need to pay 50 USD throughout the day for drinks or food. No public beach access in range by feet.
Beachclub next to the hotel makes loud music until 1 am. You hear every word and every song as if you're playing it yourself. So don't expect sleep before 1 am.
