Hands down one of the greatest properties we have stayed in. The service is amazing and you can tell the staff loves what they do. Personalized service, great room options and no matter where you stay you are just steps from the beach. Loved every minute and can’t wait to go back!

Such a lovely hotel. The staff is warm and attentive. Massage was great. Food and drinks have been perfecto. Only wish was that there was a mini fridge in the room. I highly recommend this hotel. Also, Ziggy's is an excellent resturant. Great food and drinks plus live music.

Perfect honeymoon experience! I lost my wedding ring in the sand the last night. They promised they would mail it to me if they found it. A month later they emailed me pictures of them searching through the sand with a shovel and sifter. They found the ring and mailed it back to me. Amazing!

Just returned from the most magical trip with my family in many years! Cabanas Tulum Hotel provided everything possible including the little things like a beach bag for our daily trips to the beach. Let's recognize the most friendly and professional staff as well — Viridiana and the concierge team provided all details and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Frescos was the delicious restaurant choosing only the freshest ingredients with many favorable twists. Constanze and Claudia provided top notch service with the most friendliest of conversations and smiles — always going the extra mile to help! Grounds were spotless and spa services were such an added pleasure. Will be returning ASAP. Thank you Cabanas for the most memorable trip in a long time!

The hotel is nice clean no you cannot smoke at the bar in the terras, estuve Dollars in pesos a dare on estimated exchange rate Which was not favorable for me are, I told him that that right was a rip-off and they told me that if I didn't like it I could move to another hotel, I found that kind of rude. The drive and get to the hotel was pretty pretty complicated with two GPS to cost many and many turns. They told me the weather in Sun machinery Parts What is not there Still in construction you can see in the pictures. While eating at the restaurant water was getting on my back there was a leak on the roof.

The staff, the atmosphere, the location, the drinks, the food… I could go on and on. Top notch.

This hotel is one of the most amazing hotels I have EVER been to. The staff are so so nice and helpful, the food at the restaurant Ziggys is delicious and the beach is so beautiful. The rooms are so nice and thankfully a. Ced. There is an amazing bar with the best smoothies ever and the setting is so beautiful. It is so quiet and beautiful and just simply paradise. If someone where to ask me where my favorite hotel was I would definitely say Cabañas Tulum.

The most beautiful hotel I had ever stayed at! It was like a dream! The ocean view rooftop with our own hot tub was just incredible. Every morning we had the most delicious breakfast from their two restaurants, and their staff are so friendly and helpful. I have nothing bad to say about this place. I can’t wait to go back one day.

Beautiful hotel and beach! The beach was raked multiple times a day, as it was windy. Loved taking the free bikes around the area. The service was wonderful. Morning yoga was a great way to start the day — it was hot — so bring your warm weather yoga gear. The free provided breakfasts were delicious. Try the eggs Rancheros! Don’t miss dinner at Ziggy’s next door — one if the best meals I have had. My only suggestions: 1. More staff on the beach that could serve drinks and lunch. Perhaps able to order lunch from the bar near the beach? 2. It was really humid and wet during our stay. Our towels were near impossible to dry out— a few more hooks in the bathroom would have been great! I felt like everything was always wet… couldn’t attempt to reuse towels — as I couldn’t get them to dry. Thank you for the wonderful stay! I would come back — and recommend you to others!

Cabañas Tulum and it's sister hotel The Beach, Tulum are the ideal location for a quiet couple's romantic vacation. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Two large water bottles are provided daily. You can refill them in the lobby to reduce waist. What the rooms do not have is a TV nor a phone. Not really needed for a romantic trip. Communication with the staff is accomplished with What's App. The Wi-Fi is excellent and reaches the beach! Perfect for ordering cocktails or food. The staff at the hotels are very friendly and attentive. Breakfast is included and available at either of the two restaurants. We really enjoyed the bicycles which are also complimentary. They were perfect for getting up and down the one street for shopping and eating.

Chic Place, they serve healthy food, I went in August and the Sargazo (seaweed) did not allow us to enjoy the beach. We had to go out to other beaches.

This is the place to relax and eat the freshest food on the beach, super chill. Do not bother with any other place as it can be a tourist trap, especially all inclusive resorts. This place is clean, has the best views and by far the most accommodating and understanding staff in Tulum Beach. Also the front desk and Edquardo is great and his service 5 star. We will be back for sure.

One of the best hotels I have ever been to. Everything is perfect, and the staff is just amazing. We loved the breakfasts and the room/beach service. The only downside was that I lost my wedding ring, but even then the hotel staff tried to help me and searched for it for hours! Highly recommend this place for couples.

Great relaxed place. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and functional. On-site restaurant Fresco’s was great for fresh, light bites and drinks. Ziggy’s restaurant next door is also super handy for meals. Also loads of other restaurants within a short walk along the beach. Air conditioning only allowed between 7pm to 7am so you can sleep in cool environment. Even in August daytime temp in our ocean facing room was fine with breeze from beach. Hammock on front porch was especially appreciated. Beach area was lovely with beds and hammocks. Seemed to be some drinks service but never figured out the system. Free bikes to borrow was helpful too. Pool was small but nice and decent temperature (almost to warm). Our party was two adults and a six year old. Hotel did great job accommodating our daughter with extra bed that was very comfortable. Internet was very slow but totally workable for basic browsing. Don’t expect to be streaming HD movies. Only nitpick: we were in room 121 which is on far right of hotel when facing the ocean so we were up against the next property and some sort of utility area. Somewhat obstructed view to the right as a result. However not too bad all said. Just worth avoiding if possible but certainly not a deal breaker. In summary: Heavenly place. Will seriously consider staying here again next time we visit wonderful Tulum.

A late review. On October 31st, The Beach and Cabanas Tulum hosted my husband and I along with 106 guests for our wedding and reception. It was everything I hoped for and more!
Having been a wedding planner for many years, I was probably a pain to work with… But Roberto was nothing but patient with me. I pushed for many changes in the ceremony (a few a week before the wedding) and he made it happen. Anna took care of reserving 40+ rooms for about 95 guests and even suggested other places to stay for the overflow. The food was fresh, abundant, and tasty each day (including the wedding). The service was friendly no matter what the time was. The staff (so many people! ) were always willing to help no matter what. All our guests were made to feel special. I witnessed the wedding reception the week before ours and guests raved about the venue and staff. Everyone goes above and beyond! The day before the wedding, I managed to drop a big pot of boiling water on my left foot. I had some bad burns but the catering manager ran somewhere to get fresh aloe Vera to my foot — he came with bandages and wraps and was so apologetic although it was not their fault. Everyone talks of Barbara as being an amazing bar tender, but she was the sweetest person. I wanted authentic special gifts for each family… She overheard me talking about it with front desk. Barbara offered to drive me the next day (on her day off) to a factory to buy 50+ heavy gifts.
