Let's get any of the negatives out of the way: — if you don't like to walk, this resort isn't for you. It's flat, but spread out. Wear your fitbit and count those steps! They do have golf cart shuttles but they aren't as consistent as they could be. — when you arrive, the check-in person doesn't go over some of the need to know stuff. You figure it out eventually, but it would be better to know that the rooms have glass bottles that you can refill just around the corner from your room. Or what you do and don't have access to (the resort shares property with the other Iberostars). That sort of stuff. — very minor, but when we went to reserve at the Italian, it was an adults only. It would have been good to have a couple of the nights be available to families. — people being people, ignored the signs saying not to just put a towel on a pool lounger and walk away. That's frustrating for families that slept in and didn't get up at the crack of dawn to put a towel on a chair. But we always managed. Now, for the good stuff: — the kids club (Star Camp). Wow. I cannot explain enough how well-run it is, how much activity the kids had and how flexible it all was. You knew where they would be at all times because the app told you the schedule and they stuck to it. My daughter is 9 and basically she had her own vacation. You could sign them in at any point and the kids had access to the other resorts through the camp.

Inadmissible, scam at the end of the stay by blocking transport to pay for a lost bracelet 300 €. I caught food poisoning because the product is not fresh frozen product.

I have been here about 7 times. We have gotten to know some of the friendly staff. It has been nearly 2 years, due to Covid, but hopefully we’ll be back soon.

Best holiday of my life, the service is excellent, everyone super attentive and welcoming.
The super clean and beautiful rooms and the delicious and spacious buffet service, if you want to spend a comfortable holiday I totally recommend them. 💖

We have just returned from Iberostar Paraíso Beach, as always the attention has been very good, and something that pleasantly surprised us is to see the attitude of the majority of the staff in achieving the total satisfaction of the guests, I want to congratulate Miss Brenda of the Concierge area of food and beverages, I always saw her with the best attitude of service and worried and willing to solve any inconvenience, having staff
with those features it is the result of significant planning to improve day by day.
Spending my holidays with you is a guarantee of good times.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Run of the mill, all inclusive.
Grounds are lovely. Huge, well kept.
Service is friendly and mostly efficient.
Only once a poor review was given (they handed out a survey mid week) did they actually respond to issues noted on their requested feedback. Beach is tiny, crowded, not well kept, no service.
Food (buffets) are bland, run of the mill, after day 2… it’s just there … iiiiick.
A la Cart, are very poorly done. Basically a buffet with some portion served to your table.
Japanese was fun, once. Rooms are clean and just cozy enough but dark, older, in need of a substantial renovation.
Literally anything but the minimum is an overpriced upgrade or cash grab. (At which point you could have gone elsewhere for a much grander experience) If you want an average at best resort, with loud families, and everything being just ok… go for it.
If you’re bringing your entire family from Great Granny to new born grandchild, with just a bit of peace for everyone, it might be for you.
If you want luxury, romance and pampering, move on now. Watch out for the wildlife… super cute, at first!
But not when you’re literally swarmed, jumped on, lunch stolen, feces dropped around food and drink,
Idiots feeding wild life and birds, as you try to relax… just not cute, at all.

Only on day of our vacation and I'm wowed. Beautiful room with amazing view. All the staff we have interacted with thus far are friendly and helpful. The pool is awesome… even more so because of the swim up bars! Andres our concierge right was fantastic. He set up our dinner reservations to be sure we got to experience them. Love the vibes and atmosphere!

The resort was beautiful, the swimming pools were amazing. They were huge and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Entertainment staff exceeded all our expectations! Fun from start to finish! They always had a smile and it was obvious they truly enjoyed interacting with the guest. Can't wait to visit again.

Stephanie is best concierge in the world! I wish I could hire her for our property. She remembered our names and is always excitable and engaging. Also Cesar was an amazing employee. They are great ambassadors for Iberostar.

The resort was nice. The service was not the best. We sometimes had to wait a long time for beverages at our table, or even had to go get our beverages during breakfast and Dinner.

The most amazing hotel I've ever been to! All inclusive everything, towels, beach bar drinks to your sun lounger, room mini bar, room service and why walk when the staff drive you around in golf buggies. The staff are all very hard working and genuinely want to make sure you have the perfect holiday. The highest class of holiday I have ever seen.

I'm still here as I post this review.
I have to mention two things I dislike, unfortunately.
— Room cleaning — the floor is always dirty, even after the cleaning.
Floor is never washed.
Floor under the beds is very dirty!
Lamp shades full of dust even when I arrived. I know I notice these things because of my allergies, but this is a 5* hotel, in my opinion, cleaning should be better.
— Disorganization of employees at the buffet. If a table isn't set, they never set it properly.

Everything I could ask for in a moderately priced all inclusive resort. The pool was amazing, beach was great, food options were well above average and you'll find something for everyone's taste. The staff was all extremely friendly. Bring a stack of dollar bills and tip your bartenders/housekeepers, servers, etc and they will remember you and take extra special care of you. Make sure to get up early and claim a cabana spot at the pool… it's well worth rising a bit early for it.

Excellent stay at the Iberostar Paraiso Beach Hotel. Memorable holiday. Friendly staff, excellent and varied foods. Very clean. Several loungers and several chairs. No need to get up early to book chairs. I will come back to this place and I would strongly recommend it.

The hotel is nice. The rooms are fine. The horrible beach full of stones and seaweed. The lounge chairs are all crowded when you book for a restaurant If you arrive 10 minutes before they make you wait although the place is empty then it takes another 20 minutes to attend you and the food is nothing of the other world.

A very nice resort in the Mayan Riviera with excellent service and good food excellent beach.

Just returned from a week vacation. Rooms and hotel beautiful and clean. Ice machine broken the whole week had to walk to next building to get ice. We stayed in room 3524 half way from beach and lobby. Lots walking. Some restaurants closed down. Waterfall not running with caution tape around an empty pool. Apparently it's been like this for awhile. Big pool great bartenders and servers were Great. Japanese restaurant the best. Front desk guy in check out was not helpful and unpleasant. We also found some of the shopping workers wouldn't put their cell phones down to help customers. Lots of animals Had a great time Would not stay here again.

Perfect. The booking, the flight, the transfer, check-in, service, room, drinks, beach, pool, staff, entertainment, all of it, perfect! It's the most beautiful resort I've been to. Everything looks brand new. It's really big so there are shuttles that take you from one end to the other. For everyone. Bring your own floaty for the pool! I had the oceanfront suite 3030 and could easily see the ocean from my balcony.

I love the weddings that are made at this resort, they are beautiful on the beach, full of details taking care that this is an unforgettable experience… memorable to remember forever.

This is paradise on Earth this beautiful place always clean everywhere excellent food and lots of great choice beach and miles at will to walk along the ocean a lot of activities. And finish each day in a very large and comfortable bed.

Beautiful place, great service and very good food. The beach is not perfect, but still good and the pool is huge and superb. Plenty of chairs for everyone! We love this place!

Stayed here with my family. The rooms are beautiful although they don't have very many outlets. The staff are all VERY friendly and most speak very good English. I ate most of my meals at the Buffet which was also very good with Mexican food as well as some American food. The Beach is also very nice.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Not too far from the airport and other attractions. Our room, was kept very clean and well stocked. We traveled with young children and the pools we're perfect for turn to float around in and enjoy. The Beach was perfect. There were waves all day long and we were excited to test our boogie board out. All is the staff have been extremely friendly and helpful.

The resort was absolutely beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The service was wonderful. The food, however, was lacking. Even the Mediterranean specialty restaurant that we went to was not that good. (However, I realize that I may have high standards as great food is abundant in Houston, where I live. ) Tips from my husband and my 3 night stay: Breakfast at the buffets are great. You really can't go wrong with omelettes and bacon. We had lunch once at the buffet and never went back. Everything was cold and, frankly, not good. After, we went to the shopping center for Mexican tacos or ate right on the beach. One day, they made a huge seafood paella right behind the bar! Go to the Rockstar Cafe for dinner whenever you don't have specialty dinner reservations. Yes, the choices are lacking, but the quality is so much better. I highly recommend the salmon. Kayak and catamaran are free for one hour with your stay! You can find the shack on the south end of the beach. They close for lunch from 12-1:30pm. Luckily for us, the weather cooperated during our stay. We had a ton of fun with these. We brought our own snorkel gear and snorkeled close to the beach. You can bring a piece of sausage and watch the fish swarm you. The drinks were weak. Despite asking for specific brands of alcohol and "doubles", they will try to sneak in the cheap stuff or pour less alcohol than requested if they think you're not paying attention. The lobby bar is better at complying with requests.

Very beautiful site A lot of mature vegetation and exotic animals at large. Super Team D Animation A lot of activities Yoga Zumba kickboxing games etc… Professional show very good food several choices of resto in addition to the Pancakes Cafe of the candy tacos ice cream etc have traveled a lot and loved this place C is the first time we want to go back to the same place.

Rooms were nice and staff was very nice. Lots of stuff closed down early so unless you were drinking there wasn't much to do later in the day. Plus you were expected to tip everywhere even though taxes and gratuities were included in our all inclusive package.

I've been at this place 3 times. Very nice, clean and friendly staff. All inclusive is the key here. All the food, water, beverages and alcohol you want. It had 2 buffets, a very large swimming pool, private beach for Iberostar guests only, about 6 gourmet restaurants and much more. It's not very high end like some of the other resorts but Iberostar has several resorts to choose from. I would recommend this resort. Can't wait to go back again!

I have been on many all inclusive vacations and this by far was the worst resort. My room 3606 the toilet broke first night they had to come and fix, next night air conditioning broke in the middle of the night. They had to come fix. We had three people in our room and They never left enough towels and wash clothes. There was a baby frog in my room so they came and sprayed and that really made all the bugs come out. Ant where everywhere. The food selection was not good. We saw them putting away the same food day after day that was not eaten. When we arrived we tried to make reservations at the 5 restaurants on location and was told all were booked. Needed to book earlier and was restricted to only being able to book at one. I will never return to this location again and don't advise anyone else too.

We were staying at the Del Mar which is right next to Beach. We stopped in Beach many times to enjoy beverages when on our way to the market. Awesome staff, I recommend ordering a "slammer" as well as checking out the Japanese Resteraunt at Beach! (Also, they have carts that will drive you around the resort like mini busses). As I write this I am sipping on a margarita from the lobby bar!

Assuming that we did not spend much time in the resort and on the beach as Mexico must be discovered outside, the ' break times ' spent in the resort were fantastic. You are always well served and you could say pampered, every need is satisfied with rapidity and with the smile.

Good and bad. The all inclusive is for buffets only. You get tickets for 3 of the higher end places to eat like the steak house for a 10 day stay. Overall quality of stay is good. Rooms are nice. Staff seem to want to nickel and dime on everything they consider extra so bargaining might be in order on some things. I give it three stars only because every little thing you want to do costs you extra.

This is very beautiful place to stay the pool is absolutely amazing but it's definitely NOT a 5 star resort at this particular resort now keep in there is 5 different resort's ALL side by side each better then the next n I was at the beach resort n the Rm service food was lousy Mexican restaurant was lousy THE air conditioner in THE room won't go below 72f* but it's very clean n very beautiful through out the entire resort out by the pool the have swinging beds — beautiful huts and all the amenities you could ask for. Definitely gets 3 1/2 — 4 stars.

We had a good time during our Anniversary celebration. I'll start with the negative: The room was clean, but smelled like the sewer at times (I'm not sure why). The food was not good at all, at least for me and my husband. We quickly learned that we have to get up early to eat breakfast if we want a good hot meal at the main buffet. We tried to get a reservation for a couple of the restaurants, but when we arrived the ones we wanted were already booked. We ate at the Italian restaurant and left before dessert because we were so disappointed with the starters and entrees. They were not tasty, the seafood was over done, and the bread was cold (I prefer warm bread with melted butter. Not cold bread with a hard butter surprise on the inside). However, we would definitely recommend the Japanese restaurant! That was amazing! Yum! Moreover, the drinks were watered down, but I expected that since it is an all inclusive. My husband and I were so excited when we saw the cafe shop with frappes and desserts and the crepe shop, but were quickly disappointed because everything was disgusting! On to the positive: The pool is great and the beach is beautiful! The shows were good. The circus show and the Mexican folklore were exceptionally great! The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful! The room service was on time, but again the food wasn't great and the candy shop is yummy, but I wish there was variety (chocolate please!

Only been here for 3 days but everything has been great. The staff are friendly, the rooms were well kept, and the beach and pool areas are cool. The birds can get annoying while eating outside but that didnt ruin any part of the vacation.

Very very clean resort, everyone is very friendly and willing to help. Food is amazing and available anywhere you may be, as with drinks. Some of the most fun I have ever had in my life. I recommend this to everyone.

It is a good place to go for a walk with your kids, lots of animals are present on premises. In the main lobby, you will also find a couple pools with turtles and fishes. Small kids will love it. There is also a Japanese restaurant, which will give you experience of Japanese village with cooks working in front of you.

This resort was absolutely amazing. The staff was fantastic and energized, along with a beautiful room. The pool and beach we're clean and relaxing. Only complaint was the food, but you don't go there for the food!

For a tourist this hotel is a hotspot. There are so many things to do here. Swimming in the many pools, the swim up bar, activities at the pools, don't forget swimming or relaxing next to the ocean. Then there are the many different food places you can try along with excursions to sights nearby. This resort is simply wonderful and perfect for a vacation. The rooms are cozy and help make the trip even better. Lastly the staff is amazing. They are so helpful and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I would not recommend this resort. It was impossible to get a dinner reservation for a large group when you get there. You need to call and reserve before you even get to the hotel. (That was not ever mentioned to us) Not all the restaurant are on your site, and did not have AC which was also not mentioned. The golf cart service or train is not on a schedule. We were there from Sunday to Sunday when we got to our room our A. C. Was not working. After two calls it took them until Wednesday to fix it when the cleaning lady finally noticed water from the A. C. Running doe the wall. On Saturday the electricity went out on the resort and was off for the majority of the day. When we left on Sunday the A. C. Went out again. It took us 3 phone calls to get them to pick up our bags to go check out. Not a resort I will be back to or suggest to anyone.

This is our second year in a row visiting this resort. We live to come to Mexico on vacation for the all-inclusive experience but never found a resort we liked so much that we wanted to return. The staff, amenities, accommodations are all amazing for an all-inclusive. The best feature is probably the food. The Mexican fare is most authentic. The beach is probably the weakest feature but still really nice. We were here in August of 2016 for a week with our kids. We we're here again in 2017 for 8 nights with another couple. We will probably come back again next year.
