Very quiet and central. Good cleaning and breakfast perfect.

A very quiet place. Very clean rooms. Ideal to rest, do not expect a luxurious place, luxury is the attention and warmth of Doña Eva. Affordable price considering the area.

Perfect place to stay and enjoy Puerto Morelos. The perfect city if you want to escape the tumult and chaos touristy near Cancun. Eva and Bernardo gave us a good service and the lodging is super comfortable, safe and especially warm. The location is perfect a bit far from the center and allowed us to connect with the locals and local culture.

Just spent a full week together at this wonderful guesthouse. Had a lovely visit and enjoyed the restaurants and the surrounding area along with the beautiful beach. Bernardo and Eva are the hosts and we cannot say enough about their hospitality. They provide assistance and are focused on making the guests comfortable. The neighbourhood is a short ride on the collectivo for 8 pesos to the beach and the supermarket is a 5 minute walk. It is a beautiful and interesting neighbourhood which is totally safe and accessible for walkers. There are bikes available to loan which is a nice touch. Breakfast is provided and is wonderful. A++++

My husband and I spent 2 weeks with our hosts, Eva and Bernardo at their new guest house in Puntarena, Puerto Morelos and truly enjoyed every second. We had a beautiful little apartment with a private entrance. It was very quiet with just the songs of birds in the morning and a concert of crickets in the evening. We had a private little terrace to enjoy a glass of wine after exciting days of sightseeing. Our hosts always knew a good restaurant and fulfilled all our needs with kindness and smiles. Puerto Morelos itself is still a place not overrun by tourists where you can enjoy being among the locals. We will return for sure!

Buenos Dias was an accommodating retreat located conveniently in Puerto Morelos. The proprietor and her family were very welcoming, very friendly, and very helpful. The location is easily walkable to transit stops, to shopping centers, and to many restaurants. We enjoyed the included breakfast each morning of coffee, toast, yogurt, and fruit. Also, compared to a previous accommodation, the free Wi-Fi was quite fast and quite reliable. However, there were a few drawbacks. The beds were somewhat small and somewhat uncomfortable. Not all the rooms are air conditioned, and — because we slept with the windows open — this led to nights full of honking horns, blaring sirens, blasting music, and barking dogs. Also, the neighborhood is more than a bit depressing, being full of stray dogs, litter-strewn streets, and abandoned vehicles. Do be advised that this location is in the part of Puerto Morelos that is along the highway, not along the coast. This likely makes it much less touristy and much more affordable. Getting to the beach will involve a taxi ride, a bicycle ride, or a 40-minute walk. We were aware of this, though, and enjoyed the stroll each day. There is a nice bike path connecting the entire way to the beach town and a brand new sidewalk going about the second half of the way there. Overall, the value for money can't be beat. The warm personalities and the included breakfast make Buenos Dias a great deal.

Skeptical from the outside but once you enter it's a paradise your surrounded by a bunch of plants and pottery with a big group plaza for breakfast beds or pretty comfortable not the best but location it's great 5 minutes from Beach.

Friendly, friendly, relaxed, it feels comfortable. Charming and helpful patrons. Too bad the dogs are barking at night…

We really enjoyed our stay at Buenos Dias. Eva and the staff are super friendly and full of hospitality. It was very convenient to use the local taxis, and only costs 30 pesos to get to the beach (about US $1.50). We had a suite that included a full kitchen, but never actually used the stove for cooking because food in town and at the beach was so inexpensive. If you want to be away from the touristy areas, enjoy the local culture, don't mind using taxis to get around, and are feeling adventurous — stay here!

Decent room, with a delightful breakfast. Owner spoke English. The only drawback was the bus driver was not familiar with the location of the B&B and we ended up driving around quite a bit looking for it.

Amazing reception by Eva and her husband. They were genuinely concerned with making my holiday as fulfilling as possible and very knowledgeable about activities near and far! Their guidance in navigating the nearby town and destinations as far as Chichen Itza and Valledolid, to the 27 hour journey by coach to Mexico City, as a non-spanish speaking tourist, was invaluable and I am forever grateful. The guesthouse is located in a local, non-tourist neighbourhood, however it is secure and I had an adventure walking around the local neighbourhood alone during the day, where I encountered no problems and even got free churros from the local vendor! If you want an authentic and friendly experience, this guest house is highly recommended!

Stay in good morning guest hause very excellent and comfortable price within reach of your pocket. A place strategic so is can move 25 minutes of Cancun 45 minutes of beach of the Carmen or of any Park that is want to visit, and the place you gives bicycle free if want to go to the port me me host 14 days is very delighted not miss my home by it comfortable that you make century them owners. Return even to eyes closed to.

Extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful owners did everything they could to help make our stay great. The rooms are clean, very comfortable, air conditioned and well equipped. There are hammocks outside to use, free bikes, and a nice breakfast in the morning with kitchen area to use. Owners recommended some nice restaurants and take-aways for eating. The town is lovely, with great beach and places for a beer or food. Much quieter than some other tourist towns north and south — a really enjoyable and safe feeling place to explore. It's a little far from the beach and that part of town, but as bikes were provided this wasn't a big deal. This guest house is a nice opportunity to stay in a quiet neighbourhood and get a sense of local residential area. I would highly recommend staying here, it was a great find.

I spent here two nights, the room with ensuite bathroom was clean and the pressure from the shower was also good. The breakfast is rich and includes fresh fruit as well as toasts, yogurt and marmelade. It's a short walk to the colectivo stop to go to the beach or you can use one of the bicycles they provide. The staff was super friendly and knows about the area so feel free to ask them any question! Overall excellent quality/price!

Loved the rustic setting, lovely owners, a 25 mxn pesos ride in taxi to the Puerto Morelos beach and 15 min walk to the nearest bus/petrol station. Clean rooms, breakfast is a cold buffet. Toilets have transparent glass walls FYI if sharing with friends.

Nicest people in the world. Quiet, relaxing. Ten minute bike ride to beach. They have bikes you can use, no cost.

These guys are crooks, overcharged my card without authorization. Very rude to deal with, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Stayed 2 nights, best option in town, rooms are clean with air-conditioner, breakfast included, off season price was 400 peso. You can go to beach side for 25 peso with a taxi.
