Che Playa Hostel & Bar Adults Only Hostel

This hostel is for the person who wants to party and have a great time… I came solo and had the time of my life… Mari one of the volunteers was amazing… The day trips to the beach and sanotes were breathing taking….

The best Hostel of my life! Very close to the beach. The Terrace is wonderful with the very good people. The Breakfast is perfect. I Would go Back many times over there.

Leaves a bit to be desired. The front desk workers aren't extremely friendly, male workers will open the door to female dorms to show new guests in or to turn on the A/c some times without knocking. In regards to the A/C you have no control over when it is on or off, so if you try to take a nap during the day or something the room is hot and stuffy. The rooms are a bit run down and the bathrooms are almost moldy. There walls are also paper thin so you can hear everything going on outside your room, every step and word. If your on a lower floor the bar isn't too loud but if you're up higher you won't sleep til 2am. All in all not bad for the price you pay. If you just want a place to crash after partying it is a great hostel. But if you want a good night sleep maybe look elsewhere.

It was a cheap place to stay. Cant complain much for under $20 I booked two nights here but didn't go back after the first. Bar is cash only. I bought one of my friends a drink and tried to pay for it with $500 peso but they didn't have change and kept demanding I give them money. (i didn't have anything else so it caused a pretty big problem and wouldn't let me go downstairs to get change). The bed frames were not even so the slightest movement rocks the boat. Two other travelers I met switched hostels as well. Would not go back.

Excellent. I only stayed one night and it was my salvation as I had no reservation anywhere. The cost is low. The place is clean and good care. The people who attend have a very good attitude and explain how everything works clearly. They even have coexistence activities in the evenings.

Only clean of morning when everyone's asleep. You include the breakfast and when you go there is nothing, hopefully a coffee and a piece of watermelon. The shots above are extremely expensive and they do not let you put alcohol. Apart when dinners there, do not have the space and tables and chairs to dine comfortable. The rest terrific, good vibe, do holidays taken and that work are very piolas.

My room was very comfortable, the bathroom is clean and has hot water. Breakfast is excellent, very varied. They organize parties on the roof where there is a bar with beers and drinks. Good attention. The only bad thing is that it is very expensive!

Mi estadía en el Hostel Che fue genial, desde la llegada el personal muy amable. El cuarto estaba limpio al igual que el servicio sanitario. Me hubiera gustado pasar un par de noches más ahí! Ya que es padrísimo conocer gente de otros países, ya que esa noche nos tocó compartir habitación con chicos de Francia! En sí todo estuvo excelente.

The Ideal place to go alone or with friends. Close to the beach and 5th Avenue. Clean, comfortable, and excellent care.

Definitely the best hostel I have been in Mexico, the staff is Argentinian, the place is clean and organised, they have a different event any night, life music and homemade food, the swimming pool on the roof top is warm. Nice to make friends However it's still far from european hostels standard.

Probably one of the best hostels I've ever been. Excellent location, good breakfast, party every night, free drinks for the ladies from 10 to 11, different dinner every day for a good price (even though I never ate there, people said it was great! ), super nice staff, free tours every day, etc. Etc. The rooms have air conditioning (VI! ) and beds are comfy. Best choice in Playa! And as a solo traveler, I must say it's an amazing place to meet people.

I got bed bugs, and after being bitten all over my legs all the hostel did was move me to a different bed. They also didn't give me my deposit back, but that's my fault too as I forgot all about it until it was too late. To be completely fair, it's a good hostel otherwise. The rooftop is really good, good location, good A. C (9 till 9 I think) and it otherwise seemed clean enough. That promotes it to 2 stars, just.

I always get used to staying in hotels and when I went to the hostel CHE I realized that it has no point of comparison one thing with the other, in Hostel Che I had the opportunity to meet wonderful people, to visit amazing places thanks to the free tours, I was able to enjoy excellent service, a unique attention, the staff is the best q has along with the terrace the bar and grilled meals. I recommend it % thank you for everything and I promise to come back soon.

I've been at many hostels around the world. This is the worst one to stay at. I understand that it wants to be a party hostel, but it would've been nice to know that to avoid it if you're a walk-in. Music will be until about 2am, so if you want to sleep, no chance there. Sheets are nasty (blood or mucous or who knows what on it). Beds are questionable and far from comfortable. Internet is spotty. Bathroom hasn't been cleaned for a while. Not sure about morning (breakfast, noises, etc) because I left at night. Staff seem to be pleasant and I guess they got a roof pool, which together gives it that one star. I got my refund and out of there. Awful place otherwise, unless you're drunk college kid on spring break who prefers hugging toilets to seeing actual Mexico.

Do not miss it! Hostel Che Playa is full of great vibes and great people. They will make everything to make your stay in Playa unforgettable (excursions, pizza and tacos party). Do not hesitate to interact with the staff, they will do everything they can to help you, their philosophy : every problems have their solutions "no problemmaaaa hermano, Sola soluciónes! " The location is perfect too, not to close but not to far from all the bars and the famous 12th street where e…verything happens in playa by night. 5 minutes from the beach. One brand new swimming pool. Do not loose your time looking for something better, it will be hard for you to find it!
