This resort has the potential to be great but the customer service is lacking. The resort offers all inclusive meals but a reservation is required for the main restaurants. I tried to reserve dinner for the week the first day I arrived and all the popular restaurants were filled to capacity so I had to take what ever restaurant with open slots which meant eating dinner at 9:15pm each day. The only restaurant open without reservation requirements was the buffet, which didn't have the best selection of food. When eating at the restaurants I notice many vacant seats. It felt like the reservations were to limit the people from jumping from place to place, lack of staff or to limit the "all inclusive" benefits. Aside from this the room was beautiful and cozy enough for a good nights sleep. The pools were very warm (not refreshing) and had many tiles missing. Certain buildings looked like it lacked maintenance and the drinks (liquor) were made weak. It seemed like they were trying to preserve the liquor. I stayed at the Grand Oasis in Cancun and the drinks were nice n strong. The resort does not offer a coffee shop although they offer coffee at the restaurants. The restaurants opened at 7am but the excursions offered leave at 7am which meant we could not have breakfast before leaving. The wait staff did not really pay attention to us, I finished my meals with one drink. I didn't get refills, it seemed like the wait staff was overwhelmed and their lack of enthusiasm confirmed it. I will not be visiting this resort again.
