I'm extremely displeased with the customer service of this hotel. I booked my room in December of 2020 for an 8 night stay in February of 2021… yes, the room was booked as non-refundable. However, due to the new COVID testing requirements implemented in January of 2021, I decided that I cannot risk traveling if for some reason my results don't come back in time OR I test positive. Well, Be Playa refused to let me change my travel dates… I've already paid for the room and am now out over $700 USD due to poor customer service. It would be nice to have some leniency with everything that's going on right now. I will not be supporting this business ever again… including the sushi restaurant in the main level (which I frequently dined at).

The location is great! It’s centrally located and yet quiet at night. The staff is friendly and helpful. We’ll be back.

Our suite was gorgeous. The room had a jacuzzi and two double beds. The decor is beautiful. The roof top bar is nice. The breakfast was downstairs at the sushi restaurant and it was great. We also had the sushi and we loved it.

I've been a regular customer for a long time, until now. We were told how much we needed to spend and that we can not sit on the beds all this was said in a very rude way by this Argentinian Batman named IVAN he made us feel very unwelcome, seems like he wanted us to leave right away … it was my bday and I wanted to have a cocktail and go. I asked for a couple of cocktails that were not on the menu HE HAD NO IDEA of how a Gin&Tonic was made or a Sangria, this place was empty and he took 25min to make the drinks he put rotten strawberries and added granadina to my cocktail (I hate granadina) it was a disaster he is very unprofessional and acted like a complete asshole. He also treated badly other people standing in the pool. You need to fire this guy.

I went there in April. We received a good service. Samantha scheduled our tour and she was always kind and open for questions. The hotel is small, quiet, unique and the beach is close. The room was very clean and organized. The bar and pool are cute and relaxing place. The bartenders are very kind and respectful. The breakfast was excellent. See you soon.

Super nice hotel away from the noise from downtown Playa del Carmen.

Be warned, there is a 200 peso minimum spend at the rooftop bar (which is really nice) and they don't take cards. Nice views, and good service.

This was the best stay. The staff was AMAZING! Starting with the phone conversation with Alejandra, the check in with Jorge, all the assistance from Super Sweet Samantha and Adolfo, and the morning breakfast rock stars Alejandro and Ismael! I will defiantly visit this hotel again. The rooms were very moderen and clean. The location is perfect for tourist who want visit the beach and enjoy all the attractions and shops of 5th Street.

The front desk and service overall is outstanding. A few minutes away from the beach and a few minutes away from the main strip which makes desirable to say at.

To say of the Be Beach… a perfect place without a doubt, we stayed a week there, and we fell in love completely of the place, the hotel has all the wave, the rooms are exceptional, super clean, cared, with beautiful details in its structure, colors, design and Comfort. We stayed on one of the first floor, with hydro massage, the bed is immense, super quiet, the colors and lighting day and night is magical. If you see the photos on TripAdvisor or booking or any advertising page of hotels will know that what they see is exactly what they really are. All the details are taken care of, and the rooftop, is the best! The attention of the guys and the vibe that has that place is perfect, for an afternoon of drinks and something rich or a cool night with the pool lit up! A good fact is that you can go even if you are not staying at the hotel, the Facebook be Roof put the agenda of parties and DJs who spend the weekend. All the staff of the hotel is very friendly, willing to everything to make your stay unique, I want to thank Samanta from reception that since we arrived at Cancun Airport is concerned to give us all the options to get to the hotel. And then in all that asked or Consultáramos was she. The truth everything absolutely everything we live in this hotel was beautiful and unique. To remember one of the best stays we've ever had. We will really come back!

My wife & I stayed here for our honeymoon & absolutely fell in love with it. The staff is very helpful & friendly. The rooftop bar & pool area is a wonderful experience. Our room was fantastic with a bonus jacuzzi in the middle, a very nice touch. The street level restaurant was a bonus we didn't expect. It is a restaurant with multiple personalities, and that's not a bad thing. We had our breakfast every morning that offered traditional Mexican fare. For lunch it's a surprisingly great sushi restaurant & at night it transformes into a nightclub. No matter what time of day it is always great experience. Just a few blocks from the ocean, it's also an easy walk to all the shops, restaurants & entertainment that Playa del Carmen has to offer. We will absolutely be back again for another visit, hopefully sooner than later.

Excellent service, all very clean, rich and varied breakfast, very good treatment, everything is very father, decoration too! We were greeted in a special way by honeymoon! We loved it! Also very rich sushi!

Slipped on the wet tile stairs near my 3rd floor room near the wet rooftop deck. Fell down the stairs and broke my leg and my foot. Met the owner personally a couple days later. He said that he hopes that I wouldn’t file a lawsuit against him. Seemed more concerned about that than helping me out. I didn’t file a lawsuit cause I know it was an accident. He also did not offer to help pay for any medical expenses I incurred from my injuries or offer any help at all in any way. I also slipped and fell a couple days later on my crutches on the wet wood deck entry in front of the hotel. Hopefully the owner will correct these issues so that no one else will have to deal with these probable potential injuries in the future.

We have spent some wonderful days at this Hotel. Decorated with very good taste and super comfortable, it has a super warm and efficient staff that has given us the best information and has solved all kinds of inconvenience. Directed by Juan, a manager always attentive to all the details, Samantha at reception who with efficiency and charm enabled us to enjoy the best activities every day, and the rest of the staff, with the same predisposition and affection towards the guest.
It has a restaurant, the Sushi Club, the nejor level and with excellent prices.
On the floor, superior, the terrace provides another lovely space to drink and eat something, with pool!
We recommend it without hesitation!

We stayed there one night in a room with Jacuzzi and we really enjoyed it. Everything is clean, neat, the decoration is pretty. Plus: If you are staying at the ´ Hotel, they offer you a free cocktail to take on the rooftop with swimming pool.

Excellent attention of all its staff, except those of the breakfast-sushi club, especially Samantha, attentive, friendly and very instructive, charming quiet and very well located. Totally recommended.

Best breakfast and staff. Always welcoming and the hotel was clean and friendly. Right on 5th ave and no need to take cabs anywhere, they provided bikes for me and my boyfriend to explore. We had the most amazing experience. Stephanie was our waitress in the morning for breakfast and she was truly an angel. We will be visiting again.

Amazing hotel. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Really nice and clean with peaceful atmosphere. Leonddo the front desk employee is super helpful. He usually works at night. Speaks good English too. Rooms are pretty big with a good size shower. My husband surprise me with a master room and it had a big Jacuzzi inside our room, long balcony with a nice hammock. Really had a good experience here. No complaints at all. Will definitely come back to this place when I visit next time and refer friends and family as well to book their stat with B playa:) ) )

Absolutely fantastic hotel. I am from the Uk so was very handy that staff spoke really good English… The rooms and decor are amazing, as is the roof top bar and pool. Some free drinks on arrival and the sushi restaurant downstairs (which deliver to your room or the roof) is excellent and unbelievably good value. I would say that the price you pay makes this the best value hotel I have ever stayed in.

I love, love, LOVE this hotel. I've stayed there a few times. The staff is always friendly. The rooms are always clean. The breakfast is just enough to get your day started. The rooftop pool/bar is very chill. I highly recommend.

Beautiful design, unfortunately our hot tub did not work properly. Staff was very helpful, would def come again. Easy walk everywhere.
