Place with a view and excellent location to the lake, good attention from the staff, the food with a great taste; it is just that in a matter of their rooms if they should put more attention because the price-quality do not go and are at the same price a room super small where just and you can walk to a more spacious double bed and a visa to the lagoons, and q before paying it off or use it if you ask or specify for the room, otherwise excellent.

Beautiful place, the location is excellent, the rooms are good and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast are also good quality, I just wished they had more varieties of tea other than chamomile. The activities offered are good too. It is one of the best accommodations I've had in the whole Riviera Maya.

I had one of the most beautiful weekends there. Sunrises were beautiful with a wonderful view of the lagoon. They had a lot of choices for breakfast, the rooms are super clean and so are the bathrooms. Enjoyed the free kayak and free bike to go explore. Enjoyed my first time on a paddleboard, surrounded by storks, eagles and other beautiful species of birds. Would definitely go back!

It's a charming little boutique hotel with a great common area. All guests can use beach towels and kayaks at no additional price. It had many breakfast options such as fruit, Mexican breakfast, eggs, coffee. My only critique is that the toilets were impossible to go in because there was too much air freshener (I had to cover my nose every time)

This place has a really nice view looking out to the lake. It's around a 10 minute bike ride into the main town square. We booked a double room with shared bathroom and balcony. The washroom could be cleaner but everything else in the bedroom was clean.

We are really disappointed by this accommodation and that is really hard. We have booked 2 nights in one of the "luxury Cabanas". Here nothing is, unfortunately, absolutely luxurious, and unfortunately, not even clean. The Cabanas each other very closely. The view is great and the size perfectly adequate. However, our accommodation was filthy. The bed sheets had several blood stains of dead mosquitoes. To switch to the desire of this has not been received. Was, moreover, done nothing else against the mosquitoes, of course, the accommodation for the animals, however, we have travelled through Mexico and were in a few simple accommodations, and ALL of them had a mosquito net, so it was protected a little. We found in our night, no sleep, and not have felt in the Dirt. We reported this at the reception. The did not even. We checked out then and there, was not asked why, what is it going to be, whether you could make something better. I found the Service and get what you bid for the money an absolute joke — especially as we are here in Bacalar and not Tulum. About the Hostel, I can say nothing. I can imagine that it is in order, if you paid a fraction of our amount and just take in the view enjoy the you get but of course also in many other accommodations. I can only advise against completely overpriced Cabanas on this property.

Excelente hotel así como su servicio. Tiene una vista espectacular a la laguna. Tienen todo lo necesario para descansar y para realizar las principales actividades acuáticas.

Bacalar is perfect and this House Bakal hostel makes the experience even more perfect.
They have many areas of opportunity to be. The. Best Hotel in LA. Area and it will be Q.
They have a great location, great ideas and maybe improving the attitude of the people Q attends it being more explicit when booking and check in and checkout will avoid future problems.

Overpriced. 240usd per night which included dirty sheets, a breakfast consisting of cereal, plain eggs, bad coffee and no water. Yes they had no drinkable water. Bad service. No air condition in the room. The place under construction… and many other bad experiences. It would be fair for less per night but not at this rate.

This place is a paradise, in terms of staff, attention, place, services, view… Excellent! Highly recommended!
