Review of Sunset Royal Beach Resort 4*

We absolutely LOVE this resort and I could not recommend it more. Everything about this place is amazing, and from the moment you step foot on their property, you are treated like family. Not only are the rooms super clean, they are beautifully updated and have the most amazing views on the beautiful Cancun beaches! The staff works hard to maintain the resort and even through the pandemic, they are constantly sanitizing everything (including pool chairs, beach cabanas) to keep everyone safe. What truly makes this place though is the people who go above and beyond to make sure your stay is everything you expect it to be and more. Alberto at guest services goes out of his way to make sure all of your needs are met. Rosa, at breakfast quickly leans how you want your eggs cooked and anticipates what else you might need. The waiters and bartenders, Jose, Roberto, Geovani, Julio, Andres, Raphael, Lluvia, Isaias, and I’m sure more names I can’t remember, are all amazing. They all greet you with a smile and don’t allow you to lift a finger as they wait on and bring delicious food and drink! When it comes to entertainment, this place can’t be beat! Paola, Citlalli, and the head of entertainment Arturo are absolutely amazing, going out of their way to learn our kids’ names and organizing activities for them throughout the day. The shows are also amazing and so is the live entertainment which takes place nightly! Come stay at the Sunset Royal, you will not be disappointed! We came in October and December this year, and cannot wait for our next trip here! I also want to add that we were here during hurricane Delta, and the staff then was absolutely amazing, leaving their own families and homes to care for the guests! We could not thank them more for everything they did for us!
