Terrible attention, very rude staff, bad facilities, people, do not try will take a bad experience since they request reports, immediately before anything tries to sell you things you don't occupy.

No parking, deceptive service, offer regional breakfast, what you get is a tamale. Very limited breakfast time, they made Me feel cheated.

I just pulled in. They let me park the bike in the lobby. Five thumbs up! And they gave me a free beer. Reasonable rates, close to the center. I might never leave!

It's a good place to rest. It has breakfast service included (simple, with juice, coffee, the cereal you want and strong dish), plus they sell food at $55.00 (the only bad thing is that the portions are somewhat small, but you can order another strong dish for $35 more) The rooms are not fancy but they have what it takes and the beds are comfortable. It is also located in front of the park El Llano, where they sell food in the evenings and you can take fresh air (but yes, at certain dates you put the fair there and there is some alboroe). It has No parking.

I thought that this hostel was far too big and impersonal for me, it felt like more of a hotel than a hostal and didn't have a hostal asmosphere where you could sit and enoy time with friends. The rooms had air con but you had to always ask reception downstairs to come and turn it on. It was annoying having to always ask for them to switch it on as it was really hot. The beds were hard and I don't think the blankets were clean, I also thought the 8 bed girls dorm room was too crowded and there were not enough electrical sockets. Breakfast was good most of the time, they kindly made me veggie options too. The staff were friendly but I was annoyed by their strict policy on not letting your friends in to come and cook or have a beer with you up on the terrace. Other hostals around Latin America allow this which I like. I thought the staff were good, but not that helpful overall and kind of awkward with talking to guests.

Hostel Don Nino was our first night's stay in Oaxaca from the airport. We got in very late, but someone was still there to greet us and show us to our room. Cesar was very helpful and friendly through email and in person. He helped us book our shuttle to Puerto Escondido the very next morning. The complimentary breakfast was delicious too! We stayed less than 24 hours, so it was a quick visit, but overall a pleasant experience.

Very nice in regards to cleanliness, service, etc. I was unfortunate to not be there at a time when the hostel was busy so I missed some social time and the door to my room had trouble opening and closing quietly but it was a very nice time. Much appreciated the rooftop terrace.

I have already stayed several times there and I find the best place in town. Comfortable, clean, excellent service, simple and cozy aesthetics.

I really liked this hostel, because it is in good location of the historic center as well as its location to the bus station of the city of Oaxaca, ideal to rest and get ready for your next adventure or tour of the center area of Oaxaca, I recommend it a lot, I have given a good and considerable attention to return on another occasion.

Advertised as having parking, which it doesn't. Also advertised as having quiet hours, which it doesn't. Told us we couldn't change our booking, even after we gave them 2 more days than the policy they quote requires. Avoid.

Really enjoyed our stay here, so much so that it was an easy go-to when we found ourselves passing through Oaxaca the next week. We stayed in the 8 person dorm, and were comfortable. The bathrooms were the cleanest hostel bathrooms I've ever met, and the breakfast was great. We didn't do much hanging out here, but the hostel offers tours, has a rooftop terrace, kitchen, and lots of space for hanging out if that's what you're looking for! A big plus for us was the convenient proximity of the ADO bus station and Airport Taxis from the hostel for 150 pesos.

The location of Hostel Don Nino would be hard to beat. We loved being right in the heart of the city and within walking distance to many great sites. The employees at the desk were all kind and helpful and made our stay pleasant. We would have liked to keep the air conditioning unit on for longer as our rooms got a little warm at night, but they were only controllable by the remote kept by the front desk employee. Overall, great visit. Everything was neat and clean and we felt right at home during our visit.

I stayed for a week here in the 4 bed female dorm. The shared bathrooms are big and clean, shower gel is provided and there was always hot water. There are big lockers for your stuff. I loved the location across from the El Llano park and walking distance to/from the ADO and town centre.
The only criticism I have is that the staff were not flexible. I couldn't have breakfast a couple of times as a veggie. Also, they wouldn't let me hang out in the hostal after check out. I found this lack of trust strange.

The stay at Don Nino was really nice, the beds are in good shape, the dorm well at least one of the rooms has AC. The upstairs has a vibey chill zone that has a curfew to keep noise down after hours. Really would recommend for good value for money. Really wholesome breakfast at the adjoining restaurant blulemom.

A hotel with nice facilities, very friendly cleaning staff, but a lousy management, I paid in advance for my stay and I had to leave for health problems earlier than planned and for a thousand silly excuses, I did not refund my money, they did not specify their time entry and check-out in any email and also by phone, if you arrive before your "check in" you run, very disappointed Hostel Don Nino : (

Nice, it has a terrace with a. Small kitchenette and can get there. Same, has a. Small fridge, community areas to see tele o. Films or take drinks, guests from other countries.

Hostel Don Nino is the best hostel in Oaxaca, though not located precisely in the Center, really worth staying here, and is very close to the ADO terminal.
Its facilities and services are first, they have an excellent organization and cleaning, as few.
They have many facilities to guests, really care to give an excellent service and their prices are low in comparison with others who are even bad.
I recommend that already do not seek and go straight there, so check what you say. Hostel Don Nino Rules.

Excellent place to stay they have Wi-Fi and is next to the park.

Some services are limited, some very high prices. But in what is a very comfortable place, includes enough goodies to be a hostel. The service is very friendly, is not ugly treatment. It is fine, in addition to the beds are very comfortable.
