Amazing place for families. They have do many events everyday for kids and the service is great. You can order food and drinks wherever you are and they bring it to you on the beach, by the pool, in the cabanas etc. The highly rated restaurants are to die for. Check out Frida also?

This was one of the best resorts we have gone to. There are not enough superlatives — family-friendly, lovely, Covid-vigilant, attentive, clean, spacious, thoughtful, with wonderful, kind staff, delicious cuisine, plentiful activities, super shows, and anything else you can think of! We had a joyful trip with our kids and grandkids and will be back as soon as we can. Thank you!

Service, food, and sandy beach all amazing… Good, safe location, too! Excursions offered near and far right from the resort (if you don't rent a car like us). Festive Christmas Eve dinner offered on their beautiful grounds! A very personalized feeling provided by everyone at this resort.

We had the Best week here with a group of 65 of us for my sons wedding. Laticia the wedding planner was outstanding. Our personal concierge, Maria was wonderful too! The only improvement I could suggest would be to have some nightly entertainment as the only bar onsite is adults only, and the teen club closes to early so it would have been nice to have another family friendly option. The entire staff is amazing! The food and drinks were awesome. High quality all the way around.

We loved our first stay at GVRN while planning for our upcoming wedding. Every guest we met while there said they were there for a repeat visit. I am so glad we chose GVRN for our destination wedding! Their staff and amenities are top notch! This will be a regular vacation stop for us for years to come!

What a great experience from start to finish! Our family enjoyed Grand Velas so much, my kids didn’t want to leave. The activities staff was amazing! Diego, Ever and Liam made my kids feel welcome… they had a great time. My oldest is 14 and my youngest 7. The beach is great here as well and good for kids. I highly recommend Grand Velas you need to come here! You won’t regret it.

By far the best hotel and experience I have ever stayed in. This is our second time staying at the hotel and they never disappoint. The service and the staff are so good and friendly and the amenities are on point. The spa is the perfect experience to recharge and replenish. From the moment you check in to the time you leave, they go above and beyond. A big plus was being able to get a rapid covid test inside the hotel as part of the holiday stay. A perfect experience for us and we will be back again for sure.

A perfect destination for a family vacation. I can’t say enough about the incredible staff, we felt absolutely pampered all week! The kids club was so fun, the kids ASKED to go! The restaurants and food in general was incredibly good and certainly plentiful. The evening shows were full of talent and incredibly entertaining. The pool was large and uncrowned. The spa facilities were luxurious and the services were very good. We had a fantastic vacation and hope to come back!

We just spent a week in paradise at Grand Vellas for our honeymoon! The entire staff was soo amazing! Such nice and friendly people! We were in a Wellness Suite and had our own jacuzzi that we used whenever we wanted. And even when we wanted it cleaned late at night, they had staff to accommodate. We had our own personal concierge who was sooo helpful and always happy to assist. We had an amazing couple’s massage and lots of down time by the pool in our own lounge chairs that were ours for the week. We are soo sad to be leaving and cannot wait to come back next year! Goodbye for now Grand Vellas!

Warm welcome with complimentary massage with refreshing drinks, complimentary truffles upon arrival at the room, amzing views, beautiful and large suits, readily available concierge, 24/7 room service, top notch dining options especially for seafood lovers, Thus far experienced Azul — buffet (chef made special tempura style sushi for me) and Piaf — French cuisine with exotic dishes (even special menu for vegetarian lovers). More to come after I am through my stay. 5 stars it is!

BAD if they are going to train people, they should start with the managers and the people that sell timeshares! we acquired one and it is nothing of what we were promised in the presentation, very high maintenance fees and the worst of all is that we could not use our membership freely because there was never availability, so after years of suffering and is finding out we were able to cancel it, if anyone else is going through something similar and want to get rid of their timeshare do not hesitate to send me an inbox, I'll gladly pass the information, greetings and never return to velas resorts.

My husband and I stayed at Grand Velas for our honeymoon and had an incredible experience. We reserved the grand ambassador room which was massive and beautiful — really worth the splurge! The food at the restaurants and the daily buffet was delicious — we really enjoyed trying the different ceviches. The drinks were all top notch. Every Grand Velas employee we interacted with was pleasant and helpful. I would gladly return to Grand Velas for another great experience!

Great wedding experience for my friends. LGBT friendly resort with amazing food and beautiful views. The excursions were great and the rooms are delightful and cozy. I had a wonderful experience. The loss of star was because there was no clear separation of the kids pool and the adults swim up bar. If the resolve that I would say this is a 5 star experience for sure!

I Was last year, 2017. Excellent and IS a real "all inclusive". Not too big. Just to provide everything you need and want. Very good design in its architecture, you never get lost, or walk out of what you want. Impeccable Attention. For my work, I travel a lot and I am very detailed. What Do the photos show? It'S Real. Price? It's Worth the expense!

I can't say enough good things about the grand Velas, it was everything it appeared and more the employee's were very nice and quite accommodating, the food was very good from all restaurants and the all inclusive was all inclusive, no hidden fees at check out! My wife and I celebrated our anniversary in May which as it turns out happens to be a slow period for them so we really felt like we had the place to ourselves plus coming from Florida the air felt very dry which was another welcome surprise! Beautiful resort!

It was an wonderful trip. Loved the clean beaches, pool, Spa. Ever friendly staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Everything I had expected was there and really worth the long flights we took to go there.

Amazing resort. Smaller so everything is close by. Amazing restaurants, the pool is incredible. The rooms, all suites, are spacious, clean, confortable, and beautiful! The views are like no other. We loved our stay here and will be back again!

We stayed for 6 days in March and loved the resort. Everything was perfect. The service was outstanding, the drinks and food were very good and the facilities are spotless. We loved every minute. In fact we are returning later this month for four days. We cannot wait to be back in paradise.

We came to this resort as our business incentive trip. Our entire group had a private check in area with cold drinks, chair massages and cool towels. Every detail was handled with care. We have been to several resorts all over Cancun, Playa and Cabo and this resort, by far, had the BEST service. You could want for nothing here. As many before have stated the service was top of the game and impeccable. Nadyia was our server at the pool the first day we were there and because she was so happy and energetic and genuinely concerned with our experience being perfect, we sought out her section at the pool the next few days. A few times I would ask about services or offerings to just inquire and the staff would remember who I was and come over to make sure I received anything and everything I asked about. From the beautiful views to the amazing staff and the pool side chair massages and the impeccable service all around, this was the best experience we have had in Mexico over the last 10 years!

I loved my stay! Very family.

We stayed in a beautiful Wellness Suite which was situated on the top of the building. It was extremely private and well-appointed. On the first level is a spacious Suite with your bedroom, a living area, bathroom and small balcony. Up a second set of stairs is your second level which includes a private jacuzzi, massage table, table for dining, and lounge chairs. There's a second restroom on this level. The wellness Suite includes private personal training daily, a 55 minute massage per person, and your own concierge. All in room dining is complimentary and included in the all-inclusive package. The three formal dinner options were all lovely & included delightful staff who were quite attentive. My only disappointment with this Resort is their handling of food allergies. As someone with celiac disease, it is essential that I do not consume gluten. Unfortunately, 60% of the food items that I tested with my Nima gluten detector tested positive for gluten even though they were included in the gluten free menu. The managers, chef, and concierge all seemed concerned and attempted to address this issue. However, there appears to be some sort of cross-contamination that is happening in the kitchen area. This would be a great Resort for anyone looking for a relaxing vacation as long as you do not have any food allergies.

I am positive that no where in the world could have better service or better food or a better atmosphere than the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit! This was a dream vacation! I felt like I was a queen and in a dream the whole week! As a mother of 4 I don’t get to treat myself very often but after this vacation I feel refreshed and ready to take on the world again! I was waited on hand and foot by the staff who made me feel comfortable and right at home. I had so many once in a lifetime unforgettable experiences here! I would come back every year! ❤️☀️

Very good service very attentive.

Great location, great service and great facilities. Don't go if you want water activities though. Red flags everyday (with absolutely no justification) which means they wouldn't give you anything like a surf board or body board or sailboat or paddle-board or absolutely anything else. But its really great that nobody can do anything because then your water activities guy and the lifeguard have all the time and space they want to surf in your place. In all fairness though, if you don't care about water activities, GREAT place to vacation.

It was amazing. A very nice environment, the staff were extremely helpful, all of them spoke English. The resteraunts were delicious, I enjoyed all of them. The suites were fabulous, and there was a great view. Deserves more than 5 stars.

All inclusive! The price I found it excellent, the food is worth it and the best beach in Nuevo Vallarta is much better than the beaches of Puerto Vallarta.

We had a great time. Service and food is excellent! I wouldn’t not recommend going to Azul for dinner the nights you order off the menu, that was the only time we had horrible service. If you are traveling with children I would highly recommend the kids club. Our 9 year old daughter would leave us at 9am and we would drag her out of there at 10pm. The ladies there are wonderful. Our older children also enjoy the teen club. As for the adults the wait staff at the pool are awesome and I’ve been told David in the Koi bar is pretty cool too. My only request would be please bring back the sand volleyball, our teens really missed it this year.

Let's start with the room. Spacious, clean with everything you need and then some. We only ate at Pilaf and Azul and both were fantastic. Got to try some local cuisine which was a nice touch. Facilities were great! Very clean and well maintained. The best part was the service received by ALL staff. Everyone had a friendly Ola, and everyone was focused on our experience. I would rate higher than 5 stars if I could.

This was a beautiful resort. The staff were very kind, welcoming, and professional, and they all spoke English. I loved everything from the huge suite rooms, good food, and the ginormous pools. I wanted to cry the day we left because I didn't want to leave! I can't imagine anyone coming here and not enjoying their stay.

Excellent attention, but the waitresses or other employees who have access to the rooms take what is not yours, we did check out and I forgot in a drawer several belongings including a Chanel glasses of 10, 000 pesos, (q thing I realized 40 min after I left L hotel) I speak to the hotel and tell them to forget some belongings to what I quickly say they will look for them to Entregarmelas. I get back to the hotel and I very confident I thought they were honest and reliable people to Q I looked at the bag Q give me and I see my lens case (without opening it, my clear error), my medicine my headphones and my passport and I say it is complete. Okay, and I'm going.
Already on the way I opened my case and no glasses empty case. To not make the long story send mail to please investigate what happened and because in the end I came out guilty for not checking the case. Rat Ball.

Good hotel very good quality its facilities but occupy change of management thought to buy a timeshare but with the deal they do not want to return.

This was our first trip to Grand Velas but it won't be our last. The resort earned it's five years in a row of AAA five diamond. The service is the best we have experienced anywhere. The accommodations, the beautiful property and the food completed the picture. The staff went out of their way several times during the week to acknowledge our wedding anniversary celebration. We felt like royalty the entire time. It was hard to leave. Looking forward to returning one day.

Our stay at the Grand Velas was amazing. The service was outstanding at every level. The employees seem to really enjoy their work and everyone went over the top with kindness and attention to detail. We ate at each of the three restaurants for our evening meal; we were pampered with great service and delicious food. The buffet for breakfast and lunch was fine, not spectacular. The grounds are pristine. This resort was a bit quieter than others with fewer children. They do have activities for kids to do, but it seemed that most children hung with their parents and were well-mannered. It would have been nice to have access to a small sailboat. They only offered boogie boards and sea kayaks for free. You could also rent a paddle board for $20/hr (I think). Other than that, there weren't other water sports available that I'm aware of. Even having access to the sailboats of another facility nearby would have been a nice touch. If you are looking for a place to be pampered while you hang out by the pool, this is your place. The Wi-Fi was extremely fast and covered the entire campus. My wife and I loved it!

This is a resort, not simply a hotel. If you don't know what the difference is then find out. Being said that Grand Velas offers you a little bit of everything from fine dinning to upscale rooms and amenities from your arrival to your departure. Grand Velas offers you a unique experience that makes it a great place to live a getaway experience. Staying here in the near future, looking forward to it.

We had the most memorable wonderful stay! It was truly a relaxing and enjoyable vacation! We loved the nightly events early enough for the kids to also enjoy like the circus, flame throwers and the Mexican dancers with mariachi! We travel all over the world but this resort is definitely at the top!

The ambiance is very nice. The staff is extremely pleasant. The food is ok, but not great compared to the other restaurants in the area.

It promises a lot to its name but really sites with lower prices to give you better service and quality, not be overwhelmed to cater to a larger group and therefore lowers the quality of care. In terms of the food I can not say that they are the best, there is a variety and because they are not very fresh, speaking of seafood (unfortunately many of the group got sick from the food)

Amenities decor ambience all worth 5 stars. This place is the best looking resort I've been to. Everything is well kept and clean. They try hard to give the best service but they came up short a few too many times and that's why I dropped one star on their rating. Example we would ask for a different type of pillow early afternoon and instead of having it for the night we get it the next day. Same goes for an extra cot we requested. Its a small resort which I prefer since less walking. But there's no nightly entertainment which is something I'm not used to. Also only 3 a la cart restaurants. I tried 2 as of this writing and even though one is a 4 star diamond when I asked simple questions like what is this item they don't know how to describe it. Like at all… is it a meat an insect who knows! And yes they have insects on their menus in Spanish so you have no idea like one dish I ordered came with ant eggs. Overall its a great place that just needs some polished service.

I have stayed at this resort each year for the past several years and it just gets better. Management is always thinking of ways to improve the guest experience. Every day is a pleasure as you always feel special while a guest at the Grand Velas. The food is excellent, It is creatively prepared with quality ingredients found at only the finest restaurants. The new Lucca Restaurant design rivals any big city restaurant.

Extraordinary resort! Truly beachfront suites with the highest level of all-inclusive, gourmet, fine-dining. Stunning grounds with three levels of infinity pools flowing down to the beach. Meandering koi pools flow through the hallways. Peacocks wander the immaculate lawns. Trained hawks soar from their handlers wrists to the palapa-tops to deter pesky birds. This romantic resort creates an experience well worth its price. We will be back!

This is a super hotel. My wife and I are very satisfied of our stay. The staff has a provision of service very good. The food is delicious. The wonderful beach. Although it is a luxury hotel, the price makes me a bit high, I would like to hear offers from time to time, in the low season, because we want to go back.

A breathtakingly beautiful resort. Everything was lovely. The friendly staff was happy to accommodate a vegan diet, and they all went above and beyond to create a wonderful experience.

I recommend this resort with no question whatsoever. The rooms are close to the beach, which is smooth and rockless. The ocean is warm and steady. The service is superb. The facilities are top-notch. There is absolutely no reason not to book.

The hotel is great if you are provided the appropriate rooms. The dining was a lot better than most of your other all-inclusive Mexican resorts. The overall experience was better than average, but definitely not worth the cost.

We enjoyed our time at Grand Velas overall. We have been there twice before and we had some difficulties this time that took away from what I believe to be a special resort. We loved the room staff, the rooms, the pools and poolside food, the formal restaurants and their staff. The food overall is excellent, with the exception of Azul which was less than comfortable in July, given the heat and the flies, as it is an outdoor restaurant. We have been there before in February when it was much more pleasant. Difficulties we had included: undercooked lamb kabob resulting in two sick members for a few days, faulty air conditioner that was attempted to be fixed by men up in our ceiling until 1 am but ultimately left us roasting for a night, inattentive bartender at understaffed pool bar, loud remodeling construction starting at 8 am and lasting all day. Of note we were compensated for the air conditioner issue with two free massages which were spectacular. Their spa is top notch! These issues notwithstanding, we had a memorable experience, but perhaps less special than other visits. Overall a wonderful resort, but the value is now questionable.

We were greeted with smiles and help out of the vehicle and with our luggage. We were seated in a very comfortable grouping of chairs, given a clean cool washcloth and a cold drink. Everything was brought to us and we had all the help we needed, and we are somewhat physically challenged. Walking into our room was incredible… so much more than we expected. Clean, everything we could ever want (even a loofah and such luxurious shampoo), an incredible view and service unsurpassed. We ordered room service a couple times. It was impressive… fast delivery, beautiful presentation, and delicious! The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. All staff was friendly and helpful, respectful, fun and proactive. The food was varied and delicious, gift shop nice, spa nice, greenery so nice, peacocks and hawk real bonuses. Our concierge, Alexandro, saw to our needs even before we thought of them. The wait staff was excellent. I was impressed by facilities special for children and teens. I loved the thatched roofs, plentiful gorgeous towels and everything kept so CLEAN. The pool was so lovely. It was awesome!

It is an amaizing resort, very clean, beautiful gardens; very friendly, kind and respectful staff. Lots of amenities and activities, delicious food. It is very safe, my family and I loved it! They treat you like a celebrity from the moment you arrive.

My husband, son and I spent 5 days at this awesome resort. We can't say enough about how the wonderful staff, accommodations, food quality, hotel amenities made our stay every bit as perfect as I had hoped. I would recommend to anyone with a family. It has three pools with divisions for small children to adults who want to hang out by the swim up pool bar. We stayed on the first level near the Azul Restaurant and it was the perfect spot to hear the ocean, quick access to the pool, and quick room service. You won't regret picking this resort.

It's a lovely place with a great bar and great atmosphere. The fire dancers kicked off an exciting night of food and drink. Then followed by a great bar and staff taking care of us while we watched a game. All in all the great view and the great staff makes this location a must go to on any travel plan.

Love it … Amazing! place and service they make you feel special. Every wher in the resort they call you by your name. The staff are so profesional and super attentive of your needs. It was a pleasure being in this a Beautiful resort. I wish I could've stay longer but definelly going back very soon.

Just left Grand Velas after a 5 day stay and am already planning my next trip. Service was impeccable, rooms were over the top, and the nicest spa I've ever been to. Food on site was great, but also nice to check out local spots upon concierge recommendations. Staff was so accommodating, I couldn't believe it. I sprain my ankle the first day and every morning someone left a fresh ace bandage at my door with fresh juice. Awesome.

By far the best resort we've ever been to. Perfect for families — — from grandparents, parents and kids. The grounds are spotless, the beach is pristine, the food in the restaurants (and the buffet) is top drawer. The staff is extremely friendly and efficient. Entertainment options every day for toddlers, teens and adults. Grand Velas has been named the world's best resort in several travel magazines — — and deserves it.

The service is incomparable, the authentic hospitality of the staff makes you feel at home. The culinary options are delicious and are really at the height of the best restaurants in the world (each one has 4 diamonds! ). I suggest to families with little ones not to leave to the children's Club; organize fun activities for them –-in summer they released a camp with zip lines, wall climbing, picnics, mimes, bonfire night, and prepare something special every winter, and Easter also. Safety pin.

The best hotel in all Riviera Nayarit, the service, the food and the facilities ate amazing. Also they have very nice SPA rated like one of the best in the world by Virtuoso you cannot miss the hidroteraphy circuit you'll just love it.

It is very small in comparison to the Mayan riviera. Guests at a high level economically asked buy your vacation early to finance construction for new hotel in los cabos. The only thing interesting is that fully Mexican and not investment money is going to the USA or Spain. Thanks Mr. Sail.
