The hotel is a lovely place, the rooms are ideal to rest and relax, have balcony and the view is breathtaking. The rooms are very austere but they charge you as if it were a higher level hotel; I mean, I thought it was expensive. Good thing: It's nice the place and the people are very friendly. There are no TVs, it is very quiet and they cook more or less well. The bad thing: they promise you a glass of wine and a free breakfast, but you don't get it fulfilled. The massages are given by people who are not well prepared, but they charge very well charged. The timetable of the restaurant is very rare, on Sunday for example close at 3 pm, and although it is supposed to open at 9AM which is quite late, do not open punctually. The temazcal is expensive ($600 per person), when in Tepoztlán you get a good Temazcal up to $250.00 or $300.00. Your packages are very incomplete in my opinion. I would not go again or recommend it to anyone. I think we'll have to try other options until we find a really good one that I can recommend. Above all, it covers the expectations of the magical people in everything, that their level is high and not only the high price. To improve them they would need to put more in the place of the guests, that offered room service, more ample timetables in the restaurant, service of PROFESSIONAL Spa, that they assembled packages all included and that they fulfilled what they offer fully so that you do not Feel disappointed.

Highly recommend this hotel. Very well put and taken care of. The only details that occur to me are that the food takes a little bit in the restaurant when there are several diners and the cost is a little high without including some element extra, as is breakfast. These are very small details and don't really detract from a great thing to the great experience that is to stay here.

This boutique hotel is an amazing gem in the heart and soul of Tepotzlan… everything from the beautiful grounds, romantic rooms, to the wonderful restaurant is 10 stars. The owner, Marco, and all of his staff are fabulous and treat you like family. We visit as often as possible. Please take a look at the Hotel Teocalli for your next vacation… you will LOVE it!
