Great ocean views and sunsets!

Terrible attention. We arrived 4 people, we consumed 4 dishes, tickets, drinks and we went down to the beach, more people arrived and in a little way little cuts move the person who was left at the table, it was moved to a smaller place. For two people. They didn't take into account that maybe we wanted to keep consuming. Leaving free tables for four members. We were cornered. It was impossible to get to the table. So you know if you go the staff does not treat the visitor well.

A one of a kind restaurant! Can’t get any better ocean-side feeling than this with the crashing waves right below. Then…the cuisine is 5 star quality; it was hard to decide what to order. The waiters are super attentive and friendly. And bonus, there was live music soothing trio. What a natural authentic open air ambiance — what more can I say. I raise my glass to La Playita.

A lousy service treats the locals badly even though they are frequent customers and consuming the amounts that are in thousands! They treat local people like crap.
Malinchistas, and rude.
Do not even say about the fact of going to breakfast and to the beach to beach activities because even if you consume them in the palapa of the same restaurant you can not go down with your towels, they make you leave your things in your car.

That was the rudest and worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant in PV
Starting when we arrived. They were rude and acted like they didn’t want our business. They wanted us to call our friends who had a table to prove it!
We were a party of 8.
Then the service was super slow. They over charged us on the bill. NEVER going back. I could go on and on. Heads up.

Exceptional beachfront restaurant associated with Lindo Mar Resort. About 1 mile south of Old Town. Variety of great food. When we were last there in 2021 there was live music in the evening. Happy hour at noon and 5 pm.

Hello the atmosphere by the sea mmm and tasting a good buffet of Mexican food very rich.

Was in Puerto Vallarta for a week. Its a time share rental units old style. Services and staf very accommodating.

Beautiful location nested in the part of town where the hills meet the ocean. The rooms are 1 bedrooms with a very nice living room with breathtaking views. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking dinner. It is not walking distance from downtown, but a cab ride is less than 100 pesos (5 usd) each way and there are cab on premise all the times.

I like the view and I can only talk about their food, Sundays is very rich to have breakfast on foot d the beach.

If you taste of a good palate this is a good place although you can also enjoy its facilities it contains hotel pool and its own restaurant and you can enjoy a good menu.

Excellent place, the truth pretty good. I went nothing else to the restaurant and the truth is that its food is very delicious and not so expensive. Still worth paying for it. It has a very nice view to the sea and below is the beach to which I also went and is super comfortable. Of my best experiences.

Horrendously loud place to stay so exercise caution when selecting this place. Essentially, there are two rooms… one living room and one bedroom. If you are in a unit ending in 4 or 5, your bedroom is near the elevator and hallway where the staff combined to hoot and holler in Spanish while loading cleaning supplies and tools on to the elevator, every few minutes beginning at 6am. With ear plugs in, it still sounds like they are INSIDE my room. The living room faces the pool and bar, where you will hear constant noise well past 10pm. There is a band that plays on occasion and there is no way to stop the sound from entering the living room beyond some thin-glassed, non-sealed bifold doors. The floors are concrete and echo every movement above. Every step, chair movement, door slam etc resonates loudly into your room. It sounds like a herd of elephants are above me! Honestly, the noise of this place is unbelievable and I’ll never stay here again. The staff is friendly though so if you want to party, stay up all night and be loud, this is your kind of place. *** update *** 11pm and four drunk people (older men with underage women) were on the beach screaming for over an hour. Security told them to leave and they would not listen. I insisted they call the police but the manager on duty refused.

After a day on the beach below Lindo Mar, a sunset dinner is a real treat. Food, service, old Mexico atmosphere, and the view combine to perfection. Our favourite Sunday tradition for many years.

We have been going to the Lindo Mar resort since 1989. During those 28 years, we have been to 29 other RCI and II affiliated timeshare resorts on 5 continents. The Lindo Mar is still our favorite, and we have managed to go there for one week every two years. In 2017, we spent two glorious weeks there from Jul 22 – Aug 5. It is truly a small personal resort with exemplary service. Some examples (where the employees do not even expect a tip) are: the “beach boy” who automatically brings the lounges and chairs to the palapas on the beach for you; the “security man” who hails a taxi for you, records the taxi number, your room number, and your destination; the “cleanup crew” who rushed in to mop and dry a bedroom at 10 PM when a pipe burst in a room above; and the maid who brought us ground pepper at 7 PM when our supply ran out. When our granddaughter realized she had left her cell phone in a taxi, the security man was able to phone the cab driver who returned to the Lindo Mar and delivered the phone. The beach boy also provides fresh beach towels to all guests daily, and the maid thoroughly cleans your room every day except Sunday. The location of the Lindo Mar is ideal. It is right on the beach, 1.5 miles south of the city. There is a taxi parking area a block away with taxis available to handle up to 8 persons at all hours. That same location is also the bus stop where you can catch a bus to town every 20 minutes for less than 50 cents.

I love it here my only bad comments would be they need better sheets. Everything else the food, the pool, hot tub, ocean is wonderful. The staff are great and this place is extremely clean.

Beautiful resort. Kayaks and snorkeling equipment available for rent. Breakfast brunch on the weekends. Located right on the outskirts of PV; close enough for convenience but far enough for tranquility. Try the crab enchiladas.

Lovely little resort! Excellent service, beautiful restaurant on the beach, and nice beach for laying out or playing in the water.

The Sunday buffet was a big disappointment. We're locals and we're going continually. They went up the price and the quality of the food is lousy. No tortillas by hand. Zero birria and the poor dishes … the only redeemable is the Missus de las Quesadillas caters to you super good and good and does wonders with what you have at your fingertips. That disappointed in hotel. We're not going.

Clean and courteous, presenting a feeling of closeness and caring seldom experienced in today's world. Each person here seems willing to share their joy and to provide you with comfort.

I have been going to Lindo Mar for the last ten years and it has progressively went down hill. The front door to our room has been broken for five years and each year I ask for it to be fixed but its always "we will look into it" Same with our Jacuzzi. It has not worked in ten years! The staff at the restaurant is friendly but watch your bill. They always over charge or add some extra charge for something. The hotel next door, Casa Karma is VERY LOUD. At night, they put on big parties with a huge sound system that can be heard a mile away. They also have a 6 am yoga class. Of course, they use the same loud music that wakes everyone in the hotel. Several guests complained to the Lindo Mar management but they do nothing. I was so glad to get the hell out of there this year and we are not going back.

The place is quite cozy, a small but very nice hotel, excellent facilities and the staff were friendly and always know what you need. Premium services. Highly recommended if you are looking for a quiet stay with family.

The restaurant is excellent, the quality of the food and the attention of the chef. The atmosphere is very friendly and without doubt the view is one of the best of Vallarta. It is advisable to arrive early as approximately 10 am the number of people increases.
