The rooftop pool/bar is absolutely gorgeous, as is the view. The edge of the infinity pool blends in with the ocean and horizon, making for the perfect atmosphere. The rooms are nice, but not exactly my taste as they are too contemporary in a gaudy way, though the "smart" features are nifty; Garza Blanca (the mother resort) has more attractive and comfortable rooms.

Very clean the place, nice, good attention, good services, friendly people, attentive, very well all they have, besides being a cozy place where you can be with all the family or friends,

The rooms were the impeccable! Great bedding accommodations, outstanding view, your own hot tub and hammock for relaxing. You almost had no reason to leave the room. Loved the fact that the all-inclusive package included the Garza resort below for access to additional pools, restaurants and the beach. Infinity rooftop pool had an amazing view and service here was attentive and friendly at every visit to the pool/bar or any of the restaurants.

A hotel that is just wonderful in every area View pool beach fun exclusivity… Recommended.

I honestly LOVED everything about this resort. My suite was decked out with all the things that I love. It had a hammock and a jacuzzi in the balcony. The resort also offers plenty of free activities for their guests. I took advantage of as many activities as I can. The food and drinks were superb, and I loved spending time in their rooftop infinity pool. Will be back for sure!

My partner and I just had our second visit at Hotel Mousai. The first time we stayed at Mousai, we booked on a whim. Suffice it to say, we were completely blown away & couldn’t wait to come back. A year later, the second stay was better than the first. Food was still top notch, decor is still well maintained. The place is beautiful & absolutely spotless. And, OMG, the location and views cannot be beat. The service is where Mousai truly shines. Service is impeccable and confident — never ingratiating or overbearing. People seem to truly enjoy working at Mousai. It was nice to see several staff members who still worked there from one year to the next — and several actually remembered us. We will be back ASAP! Thank you again!

UPDATE 2018 POTENTIAL GUESTS BEWARE! Have been in touch with the property manager to try and resolve the issue of being double charged for a stay in March of 2017! It is now February 2018, 11 months later, and I have yet to see ANY resolution, the money owed has not been refunded to either a credit card or a checking account that was provided to Hotel Mousai accounting. This is unacceptable and beyond unprofessional for any property working in hospitality, let alone a 5 diamond resort! If I could give negative stars to reflect how frustrating this experience has been, I would. Potential guests beware! We stayed at Hotel Mousai for almost two weeks a year and half ago. We had such a pleasant stay that this time we treated our adult kids for a week over this past Christmas holiday. They exceeded our expectations once again. They truly go over and above the call of duty in wanting to make you comfortable. This is one place where you can really relax and unwind. Omar and the folks at the roof top pool are the best! The food everywhere here is exceptional. Our kids could not believe the pampering you receive. We can’t wait to return!

The Campus has a wide range of consumer sites, plus everything inside is in perfect condition.

This is 5 diamond rated luxury resort. This is the most expensive hotel in Puerto Vallarta in state of Jalisco. This is an adult only place and offers rooftop restaurant and fantastic spa and pool atop. Gym is open 24 hours and offers very modern rooms with panaromic view of beautiful ocean and mountainside. There are trails for hiking and botanical gardens to be in nature. The service is amazing and most patron seems to have great experience when I spoke to them at pool and around.

Hotel Mousai was incredible. The rooftop bar was never crowded during our week there. They serve complimentary popsicles and fresh fruit juices to guests. The orange juice is actually fresh squeezed. Excellent liquor and cocktail choices. Our favorite was the Dos Stk for dinner, but all of the food was excellent. The bed was amazingly comfortable. We did the kayak tour where we saw a huge sea turtle up close along with excellent snorkeling. Tito, our hiking guide, was hysterically overly informative. We will most certainly be back and highly recommend it to our friends and family. One of the best all inclusive places we've ever been to.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a short 5 day get away. Upon arrival to the hotel the service was amazing. We were greeted with some very nice fresh drinks and check in was quick and personal. Our bags were taken to our room for us as we were shown all the wonderful amenities. We were very lucky to get the top floor corner suite. Through out our stay our every need was catered to very quickly. I will be happy to stay here again.

This hotel was by far the best experience we’ve had on vacation. We’ve stayed at many top resorts and hotels and this is by far the best. The facility was so beautiful. The amenities were the best of the best. The food and drinks were a plus. The staff were always polite and very attentive to our needs. Seeing is believing therefore you would have to take a trip to this hotel in order to fully understand how marvelous this is. We’ll definitely be back soon.

Fantastic trip! It was our honeymoon and Mousai made it perfect! Room was amazing and I can't say enough about the people working there. They were all so friendly and welcoming. You can tell they really enjoy working there. Food was terrific as well as the view. Everything is handled with a "can do! " attitude. We had the ultra mousai suite and it was mind-blowing. Hammock and hot tub on the balcony, ipad controlled everything in the room. Stayed in October and it was a little warm and humid. Overall the experience at Mousai and PV was wonderful and we can't wait to go back.

The staff is outstanding! We’ve been here for 6 Days are have never left the grounds! The roof top pool is just amazing, the beach is clean and calm. But the staff … they rock! Fabiola is so friendly, she’s terrific! Ignacio, Jennifer, Omar, Antonio, Jamie, Fernando and ALL of the others — just stellar! The rooms are so well thought out, they have turn down service, mood lighting, iPad control for everything — it’s perfect! I love the personal hot tub on the patio! We will be back!

The atmosphere is amazing! The sushi wasn't good… Which is to be expected in Mexico.

Lovely location with beautiful views all around — mountains on one side, ocean on the other. The balcony suite is even nicer than the pictures with a clear view of the sea. Service is excellent all around!

Great place in the south of the city of Puerto Vallarta, in the mountain with a magnificent view of the bay, luxurious rooms and good centers of consumption and activities to the guest.

The staff make what is a luxurious and beautiful hotel a home away from home. My friends and I were treated so well, spoiled really. The service we received was really what helped make our vacation special.

Took 3 hours to get room service witch made me miss my plans to meet with my other group of 20 friends and completely ruined my night. Then had a few other issues on top of that. Nice resort but we travel a lot and much better places to go for better service. They agreed to remove some charges and a night at check out and of course that never happened they lie and doesn't care to make their customers happy at all!

We stayed here for five nights in March. The hotel is nice and modern and has comfortable rooms. The service is great. The staff are very friendly and eager to help. The food is good. Desserts were better than other all inclusive resorts we have been to. The drinks are good to and they are very generous with the alcohol.

So far it's been a really good stay. The staff is incredibly friendly. I've enjoyed the food I've tried so far and I haven't had issues trying to find a lounge chair. The resort is fairly close to downtown. A bus stop is right across the street otherwise you can get a taxi. The views of the ocean are amazing and all rooms face the ocean. If your room is near the sky bar, it can be noisy at night. The sky bar is open until 1am and can get loud.

The staff is excellent and ready to care for your every need. Food is authentic and delicious. Steer clear of the American food and stick with Mexican. The pool area is very nice for relaxing and watching the sunset or just looking at the ocean. The rooms are very clean and modern. And how can you complain with all you can drink and no kids!

The Hotel Mousai was absolutely perfect in every single way possible. We stayed for 7 nights in the 'regular' Mousai suite and I love that the basic room in this hotel is the best hotel room I have stayed in the world. The view absolutely blows you away and so we spent a lot of time sat in our private hot tub taking it all in. Every night we would sleep with the blinds and sheers open so we would wake lying in bed soaking it in. Then most mornings we would order room service from the iPad and eat on the deck to soak the view in some more. Room service always came with a smile, hot and delicious. The room is generally huge, very chik, an amazing toilet, huge shower and overall super comfortable. The hotel is well located too, just a 15 min ($7 USD) taxi to town, in an area of very nice beaches and with free access to Garza Blanca pools and restaurants which provide great options if you prefer to stay close to the resort. We ate at all restaurants within both resorts and all were out of this world good. We love Japanese food so Hiroshi was our favourite with again great variety. The steak house also amazing and also a great lunch option if you can pull yourself away from the rooftop pool (Hiroshi not open for lunch). The rooftop is as everyone says out of this world and you will not want to explore Puerto Valletta as it is too difficult to leave. The drinks and food variety is awesome, both incredibly tasty and the loungers perfect for lengthy stays.

This has to be the best hotel in Puerto Vallarta if you want an adult only luxury hotel. The rooms are super posh with modern decor, iPad that controls all lights and curtains and music, heated jacuzzi with gorgeous views, a hammock for relaxing, and even a heated toilet seat and bidet with dryer. A must at this hotel is the rooftop. The food is great and the infinity pool that overlooks the ocean is breathtaking! Definitely going back to this hotel.

Spacious rooms, new hotel 1 and a half year of open, a concept that was all inclusive with drinks, food and service quality. There are 3 restaurants that you must book. Ideal for a stay as a couple to rest.

Sophisticated, stylish, ultra modern, adult only, all inclusive, with high end amenities. Great for pool people because there's not much of a beach. 5***** spa. Excellent food, service and rooms! Immaculate clean suites, and spectacular ocean views. We stayed in the Governors Suite (3-4 times the size of a regular suite) but all rooms are ocean facing, and offer the same beautiful upscale, modern rooms! Pool 'food and bar' service in your cabana or swim up bar. At least 15 venues to choose from. 3 specialty restaurant, funky bars, exceptional breakfast buffet, all with excellent service. My husband and I have been to Mexico all inclusive 5***** hotels over 15 times and this place exceeded our expectations in service, value, and stunning suites. One disappointment was the lack of a expansive beach. No snorkelling or hobie cat sailing for us. Kayaking was available They are working on protecting the beach with a break way, built of rocks. Highly recommend — upgrade to Governors Suite for a special treat!

This is the third "all inclusive" resort I have stayed in, and it was by far the best. The property is of course beautiful, with grand views of the ocean, plenty of room for everyone at the pool, and all the alcohol you could want. But the two things that really make this resort stand out from the others is the food and the staff. I can be a bit snobby when it comes to food, and was somewhat worried I would be disappointed, but was pleasantly surprised. The breakfast buffet has anything anyone could want, the three specialty restaurants are great, and one has plenty of opportunities to take advantage of the fresh fish and authentic Mexican food during their stay. Beyond the food, the staff goes above and beyond. Our airline lost our bags, and the concierges called the airlines themselves repeatedly, until our bag was found and delivery arrangements were made. Truly, every single staff person went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we could possibly need. If you are considering a vacation to Puerta Vallarta, I would highly recommend this resort.

Great time the minute we walked in. The staff was very helpful, and friendly. Always asking if we needed anything. The place was pretty busy as well. Drinks whenever we wanted them. The room was awesome. The views were beautiful. Plenty of stuff to do at the resort. The Sky bar was the place to be. Food was fantastic. Room service was awesome. Longest they took was 30 minutes we ordered a lot of food haha. I would recommend this resort to anybody. Great time!

Best thing about the hotel is the good attention of the staff, good quality and variety in food, but it does not correspond to the category GRAND that want to give you, as the pool is very small for the size of the hotel, the lounge chairs are very close to one another, as there is very little space, practically it does not have a beach, and what's worse is that one goes with the idea of exposing yourself to the sun, and the building gives you so much shadow that the spaces in the sun are much too small… The service of the gourmet restaurants is too slow. Definitely the most redeemable feature is the very good attention of the staff and the food… other than that, the hotel is not worth what we charge.

The staff is very kind and attentive. The food was good, as were the drinks. Everyone was helpful, telling us of lots of places to visit, providing taxi service, etc. The only thing I wish they would have been a bit more attentive with was food allergies. My husband can not have wheat, while we knew Mexico would be a relatively safe option because of the use of corn in a lot of cooking, warnings or marking specifically saying things were gluten-free would have been nice. The rooms were beautiful, very clean, Netflix was available. Beautiful views of the ocean and the beach, as well as snorkeling and kayaking were available through the the hotel at no cost.

We had a wonderful weeklong vacation here. Most of the staff had learned or names by the third day, and the place was half empty in mid August so we received extra personalized service. A ten minute taxi ride takes you into town for $4. Walking about the town is fun as well. A very enjoyable vacation.

My visit to Hotel Mousai was extraodinaire! The property grounds, hotel room, pools, restaurants, weather and beach was astonishing. The amazing panoramic views was a sight to see. Looking west you see the beautiful clear ocean and to the east you'll find the lush green jungle! The best part of the entire trip was the amazing Hotel Mousai staff. Every single member flourished in attentiveness as well as being incredibly friendly. People certainly make the place what it is and at 110% satisfaction I can assure you that's the honest truth. Be sure to check out the activities such as paddle boarding or the morning kayak tours. If you're a beach lover like me you'll love the cove area where you'll find crystal clear water that unveil fish, skates/ sting rays, crabs and iguanas that perch upon the rocks! :D All amazing things to experience. If given the chance make a trip up to Imagine Spa. There are 3-4 different bathing tubs with the ocean view in the main room with a gorgeous crystal shade. The massages are heavenly leaving you relaxed as well as refreshed. Not to mention skin supple and smooth. Lastly, the nightly lightning storms are amazing! Watching from the balcony in the comfort of your hammock is definitely something to experience. The flashes are many and extremely bright! It makes for a nice night cap to unwind to. I cannot wait to come back! :D.

Excellent service, a beautiful view from from the aviation, the delicious food has three restaurants. Uuf seafood, mexican, delicious cuts. Q say the private beach is a hotel that you deserve to know it dates back to the opportunity.

Has several bars within the hotel all inclusive, a spectacular view and a super-friendly staff, plus they have the best medical service of the hospitality of puerto Vallarta.

A good visit, attention of the best, in the gift shop there are very good articles and excellent care. The food is very rich and the rooms very spacious and comfortable, its beach one of the best in Puerto Vallarta.

Just awful. Made you wait. Kept saying 5 minutes, 5 minutes. Soy sauce was watered down… a very mediocre food for a luxury price.

Honeymoon'd here. Beautiful, upscale luxurious resort. Would return in a moment. When we went they were still working out some of the kinks (cold pool, hours of restaurants not honored, etc), but hopefully by now it is a well-oiled machine! Great drinks and excellent food as well! Highly recommend!

Everything about this place is amazing! Room service is top notch, drinks are stiff, and the staff are crazy cool. Even though I knew little Spanish, they helped me practice what I did know. I felt like I was the 1% while staying here.
