In this hotel the service was friendly, the food was great, since in the food is buffet, this have an hour. I liked to drink in-room minibar, swim in the pool, the room because it has a double room with view to sea beautiful. Also, the service make up the room were so wonderful, since every day clean it.
You could improve the hour in the food, because the people sometimes wake up late and in occation don’t eat.

They don't live up to what it says in the contract.

The service within the staff is lousy, there are too many restrictions, and the hotel is not cheap. Something that catches my eye the cleanliness that is counted for these times in which we live are quite the security filters.

The visit in this hotel was amazing, I went with my friends to graduation, the food was really good and you could eat all food you wanted. The room service was regular, it lacks a lot attention and more infrastructure it also quality drink. The personal was friendly and very approachable. It had excellent entertainment and a big pool.

The rooms are very dark and the bathroom already very deteriorated and very dark has no watering lighting. The floor-to-ceiling windows rusty and maintenance-free and apart take two to give access to the rooms and you have to leave the room long before you entered.

No AC, No Hot Water, Minimal Parking, Food is not what promised The hotel is presented in a luxurious manner, however, the food is basic and there isn't much variety. The parking is terrible as the hotel is on a very narrow street, there was no hot water until you complained about it, AND the AC was not working in either rooms my family was situated in.

Poor food, dirty pool, lack of maintenance in general, zero recreational activities, plus prices have gone up a lot.

Great location, beach access, clean rooms, friendly employees, and good all-inclusive options. Unfortunately they changed the adult pool to all ages, so I just don't enjoy the pool experience anymore. Other than that, this is a very nice place in a great central location.

A family hotel, excellent for holidays, without worrying about anything but having fun and having fun with its all-inclusive excellent breakfast, good food and delicious dinner. The pool is well the beach nearby and nice for bathing.

The rooms are simple, maintenance and cleaning details such as air dripping and missing amenities, but they are resolved soon. Nice common areas. Very rich breakfast, regular lunch and dinner with a lack of simple options like quesadillas (thinking of a young child). Good bar service. It doesn't have kids club or playroom. There is no room service.

Excellent accomodation, Super quiet, beachfront, with warm pool, free bar excellently well, very friendly staff both reception and cooks. The food was fine, I would just add fruit for the 3 meals not only for breakfast and improve the dinners the truth no dinner I liked.

The hotel very small just like the two pools, but it is clean and the staff friendly. What I didn't like at all was the little, variety of food or the taste. By choice I don't come back.

The truth is very careless and dirty rste place, the room had a sofa bed and the mattress of this was stained with blood, the Clabijas not serve, the towels provoked rash, the food lousy, would not go to this Joyel.

I Stayed at the San Marino Hotel for a week. My Junior suite room on the top floor ocean front was fantastic. Very spacious. Nice bathroom. Spotlessly clean. Lots of power points for electronics to be recharged. My check in was smooth. I did not have to pay extra for safe lock. I did not do the meal plan so I can not comment on the food. Hotel is in a great location.

Best location around by far! The rooms however leave much to be desired. Very outdated in all senses, mold in the ac unit and bathroom made my throat sore until I opened the door at night and shut off the ac. Food was ok, it's food and is acceptable as such but nothing to get excited about. Staff was all very friendly and helpful it was really the rooms that let this hotel down. Spend the money make the rooms nice and I'd gladly pay more to stay here. So much potential but no vision. It was very reasonably priced but I could not accept the quality of the rooms especially the bathrooms.

Excellent food, the staff are all really nice and helpful… Excellent location! Food was pretty good, but we still ate out at the wonderful restaurants often. Large and clean rooms, though dated. The beds were uncomfortable… One of our mattresses had a foam topper and we asked five days in a row for the other mattress to get one too… They kept saying they would check (we never got one). Overall, pretty good for the price!

I am currently staying at this hotel. Nothing k see in attention and food. Fatal. And very salty is disgusting… The cooks with a rude and pathetic activity. I was disappointed… No longer is the second time K I come to this hotel. There won't be a next time. And I don't recommend it.

A very nice family place, the food is good but not excellent, the location is perfect, right in front of the pier and the old Town or Zona Romantica! Recommended.

This is by far the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at, and it is in the worst location. This hotel is disgusting; the rooms look like a budget inn with prison style toilets, broken showers, and roaches. The food is all buffet, and I've had better food at Furrs… McDonald's is high quality compared. The drinks are terrible… do you like whiskey? Well you won't drink anything here. All they have is tequila served with bees and dirty glasses. The hotel is full of the grossest people, and the beach is even worse. The water looks like nasty Galveston with dark water and random people since it's not secluded. The hotel is in a terrible part of town, miles from anything nice or fun. I wouldn't pay $300 for this hotel. Terrible service, terrible food, terrible facilities… I literally cannot stress how awful this "resort" is. PLEASE don't stay here.

Its not as good as it looks in previews but the Wi-Fi is good and the rooms are decent the pool is full of people and the water is grey and the beach has fungus in it.

The location and view are top notch. Service was fast and friendly. Would come back again.

The hotel is very clean and I look forward to coming back to Puerto Vallarta and staying here. The staff really seems nice and accommodating. It's also great that the Wi-Fi works so well because at Blue Chairs it doesn't work at all even though it shows a Wi-Fi signal.

The place is comfortable, I would definitely come back. It has a very good place to be on the beach, I would have liked to ride the kayak but it will be another time.

Stayed 4 days, didn't enjoy my vacation bacause of this place. First of all, the AC does not work! My family had to deal with the heat day and night. The food and service were just "meh". The worker at the lobby told us to "search for a place to leave the car" because all limited parking spots were taken by the people working nearby. The Wi-Fi does not work in the 8th floor and we had to be at the lobby to get a descent connection, a slow one too. The location as many people say isn't "terrific" all night there is music being played in the bars near the hotel, and there are better and most beautiful places to stay at.

Hotel is decent but the food is blan and tasteless. The beach is nice.

I liked this hotel because there is very bn bn lures although you had to train for the bar.

Location is great but that is about it. We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. If I could do it all over again I would stay at another hotel. Let's start with the food. We only ate at the hotel one day. The food was bland. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast. Not saying it tasted bad, just was not appealing. I forced myself to eat it and realized that im vacation, I should be enjoying the food. We ended eating out the other 2 days. The location is pretty noisy. Do not stay at the northern part of the hotel if you want to sleep at night. There is a restaurant/bar by the beach across from the hotel that has bands playing music all night. The hotel staff moved us the next day (that's why they got 2 stars). The room was decent size. The beds were hard as a rock but surprisingly I was able to sleep. The ac leaked water and was not fixed so every morning we had a puddle of water by the bathroom/hallway. Ac had 2 settings. On or off. I guess I should be happy it worked. We were getting ready to go to the beach when a gentleman walked by our room spraying pesticides to kill roaches. He told us to stay away for about half an hour. If we wouldn't have seen him we wouldn't have known they were spraying. We left all our clothes in the suitcase just in case a roach wanted to trvel back home with us. I thought it was funny that when we checked in they gave us the remote for the TV and a key with a lanyard. We had to turn both in at checkout or there would be a fee.

Arrive on Monday, March 28, 2016 with a group of the Altos Jalisco and I well asked for a room facing the pool or overlooking the sea and got a room in a corner (123 — to be exact and were like 8:30 am and that apart from that had to pay more for a different room and that if I wanted to change my room I had to leave which I already had) given disque for not dirty it! and wait till 3:00 pm to get me again to give another NI seeing that TRAIAMOS a baby of 16 months in arms and we newly arrived from a trip of almost 8 hours…! I HAD TO STAY WITH THAT ROOM TO AVOID THE LONG WAIT…
¡ (PERO ESO SI, TUVIMOS QUE PAGAR TODO POR ADELANTADO! )!
But what they gave us had nothing to do with what I asked…
But the day of today 29 March (a day later) I went to complain by a sound they had exactly outside my room on the street in a post Street had a horn in a tripod very but very strong that he wouldn't let us rest and they told me that that was in the street, they could not do anything and till the next day that you see might change my room… PLEASE GENTLEMEN OF THE HOTEL SAN MARINO… YOUR HOTEL IS A HOTEL ZONE… CONSTANTLY SECURITY PUBLISHED BY LESS THAN THAT AND IN THE TEA STREET STOP AND GETS YOU A FINE FOR BRINGING THE SOUND A CAR STRONG!

Location is excellent. We chose it for the reasonable rate and the close vicinity to Yoga Vallarta. On the beach and maelicon. Clean and basic. Can be quite noisy. Don't go here if you want peace and quiet. Food is OK. Breakfast offers fresh cooked eggs. Staff are very good. If not for need of a bit of reno work such as mouldy bathroom, would have given 3.5-4 star. Many great restaurants near by.

Stayed a week at the San Marino. Terrific location! People have mentioned the hard beds but for not having a box spring (or any spring for that matter) just a wood base, I didn't find it too bad. I would advise skipping the AI. The food was mediocre much better at the neighbouring cafes. The staff was helpful. The "safe" was basically a tin box with a flimsy lock attached to the wall of the closet. But, in the end I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Some reviews complained about kids in the adult pool on the lower terrace I never saw any. They were too busy having a good time in the two pools on the main terrace.

Excellent location. Friendly staff. Do yourself a favor and opt out of the All Inclusive packages and get your meals and drinks elsewhere. Hotel is very popular with locals and children.

Thing that most favors hotel is front Beach Pier location the dead, so it gives you a very good position for sightseeing in the area Center of puerto Vallarta, this location shows a very good view from the dock in the sea, the hotel staff is very attentive and firm service has very good taste foods, with a variety of 8 dishes about for food.

I've been staying at this Hotel each time I come down to vacation in Puerto Vallarta. The Hotel is a great location, located beachside in the Romantic District. I would have rated them 4-5 stars except for the fact that the last time that we went down we unfortunately got a room without A/C and thus it was almost unbearable. That aside, the staff however are great, the all inclusive deals perfect, and the location superb for watching sunsets. They are able to accommodate travel to the airport and nightlife. The new addition of the pier next to the hotel is a wonderful addition.

It is a good hotel, modern rooms, if you opt for the All Inclusive is very poor the food and the open bar there is not much variety. The location is very well in the center of Puerto Vallarta. The beach did not seem very nice there are a lot of people.

Upon my arrival they made us wait too long, the beverage service of disgust if you wanted to serve as a fast and well you had to leave a "tip" every day and not be satisfied with any thing, service and attention, very bad, very bad, rooms very old as were the facilities of the photos that are published of the hotel nothing to do with what lives, in the matter of food without taste and without variety.

Because the truth have many years q I am not by aya but if disen q is in wrong state q is bad still going I don't understand that because for me this nice is located on the best beach in vallarta.

The food at this hotel is awful, the quarters are "suites" only because they are a little larger than usual. Announce q have 2 restaurants but it is only one and the food has no flavor. There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms only in the lobby and the pool. The only good thing is the view. Not worth the q cost friendly.

The really only thing that is nice is view as opposite a dock I think it says so. The rest is very bad food has no flavor the beverage know ugly. The rooms are in very poor condition and everything is full of sand and the climate does not work and the mirrors are orrible by moisture. Pesimo no volvería a ir.

Excellent choice for living in old vallarta near the romantic via price describes the quality of service that they give you, regular rooms, much more comfortable than probably most of those who complain have in their homes, food is buffet, nothing special but all prepared with much hygiene, whether in a family of 4 is impossible to please the members for more than 200 people would be illogical to have food to taste I think in a restaurant a la carte would happen, walk from the pier and minutes from the pier, if what you want is Tan, enjoy the beach and its attractions at a cost moderate hotel is one of the best options, is not a resort or a 5 star, says it the price! Pesimoooooo, the habitaviones are not the q shown in internet, disgusting food, and drinks, therefore not even the wise bartender who is whiskey!
The pool at night only fan trays with chlorine, not even change it. Horrible.

The worst. The hardest mattresses that I have ever encountered. Thin towels, the scratchy kind. Noisy. The staff slinked about like a bunch of weasels, then claimed we lost some beach towels worth mucho pesos. Not easy for us to agree to, since we never went to their beach. Probably their standard scam.

All Inclusive food was always cold, even if you were first in line. Also lot of people were complaining that there toilet didn't flush properly. Our room was noting like the pictures on the website. It seems that they do have a few room that look like the website but most of them have not been updated.
