The hotel was in a perfect location to walk almost everywhere. Was on the main shopping street with multiple shops and restaurants. Was 30 steps from the Cathedral and across the street from the city square which had more restaurants, shops, and the Mining Tunnel Museum which was pretty cool. Hotel was very clean, quiet, quaint, and just an overall chill vibe. Would highly recommend.
If you're coming to Durango, this is the perfect stay for your visit.
The most important architecture in Durango would be right next to you, the Cathedral.
There's also plenty of Ubers in the area and most places except credit cards.
It's a very busy area, yet it does not feel overcrowded, especially at night.
There are plenty of attractions within walking distance and it's about 25 minutes from the airport.

Worst vacation experience. Upon arriving at the hotel, they handed me a suite even though I had selected a king-size bed. Instead, I was given a single “suite” room with two standard double beds. When I pointed this out, the employee who assisted us was dismissive, unprofessional, and completely unwilling to help; she simply denied the issue and made no effort to offer a solution.
We are people over 1.94 meters tall and do not fit in standard beds, which is precisely why we requested a king-size bed. We were unable to sleep due to how limited the space was. The mini-split air conditioner did not work, there was no TV cable, and the bathroom was extremely dirty, with hair everywhere; additionally, the bathroom exhaust fan, linked to the light switch, produced a horrible, extremely loud, and very annoying noise.
The parking area is located behind the hotel, and after parking you must walk all the way around the block to reach the main entrance. I do not understand how there is no direct access from the parking area.
Most importantly, all of this for the exaggerated and absurd price of $2, 499 Mexican pesos, for only one night, when a friend of mine who took the same trip paid $2, 600 pesos for three nights in a double room (with the same type of beds) at Posada San Agustín, a beautiful, warm, and clean hotel, where I fortunately stayed for the remaining days of my trip.
