Do not bother… 6 of us canceled our stay after 1 day… everything was closed, gym, pool bar etc… and they don't allow any guests and the staff was very unaccommodating. We let them keep 4 nights @6 rooms a night of our money and gladly paid to move to a better hotel.

We always enjoy our stay here. We feel welcomed by the staff who are all warm and friendly. Snorkeling directly from the hotel is fantastic. Dive shop in house and the boat pick up right here. Can't beat that! we adore our Coral Princess family and home away from home.

Wonderful view and environment.

My wife and I came here for a day use while in Cozumel from a cruise ship. We ate lunch and had several drinks for a total cost of $40 for the day. Plus a generous tip to the waiters. We brought our own snorkel gear and it was amazing to see all of the fish right off of their pool deck area. The waiters and front desk staff were excellent. We will definitely return back to the Coral Princess on our next return trip to Cozumel.

6 Stars We love the Coral Princess! We were engaged here three years ago, married here last year and back again this year for our first anniversary! Amazing staff who treat you like Royalty, beautiful hotel and the beach and pool area are one of the nicest in Cozumel. The restaurant is amazing with Chef Toni, every meal is superb! Hands down the best vacation spot in Cozumel!

Room 805 needs a lot of work. Room is nowhere near 5 stars! Wonderful view however. Room 711 is very nice but a jungle view. This place charges you for everything. Most (not all) staff are incredibly nice and hard working.

Beautiful hotel but unfortunately the staff is highly homophobic. I kissed my girlfriend at the bar and then proceeded to the pool, only to be approached by (what it seemed to be) the manager who had the audacity of telling me that any sign of affection should be kept for the bedroom. He gave me a long speech about how he doesn’t discriminate, but it would be better for the hotel atmosphere if I wasn’t, well… being gay there. I felt extremely offended, especially because I had chosen that hotel to propose to my girl. We packed our bags and left. I know Mexico is different but This type of discrimination shouldn’t be allowed in this day and age.

I went there with some friends just for the day. There is no day pass in low season (May to Sep) you only need to consume to be able to use the facilities. I had breakfast and stayed until lunch drinking margaritas at the pool. Friendly staff, reasonable prices and the best of all there were not many guests around you could enjoy our short stay having fun at the pool bar with Gustavo the friendly bar server.

Good location. The service is good, although it could be better. The rooms are very homey. Its pool area and access to the sea is simple but very good to relax and enjoy a few days of vacation.

We came in April at the beginning of spring break. Thsi was our first time here, so we didn’t know where to stay. The staff was SO FRIENDLY and accommodating, especially Pedro and Ontario (I kinda forgot his name) we called him our amigo. But great for snorkeling and the reefs, swimming in the pool, & good food. We will be back.

The woman who owns Coral Princess is a airhead. Smoking in meeting. Discounting guest as not important, no salt on tables, you can't bring in water for baby formal, and many other things. She is disgraceful to smart business women with no regard for the guest who has spent money to be on island. Staff is great, but a poor leader is a poor leader. Choice wisely where you spend your money. I wish is didn't have a membership I can't stand stupid women in high places. Such a disgrace.

This is where my wife and I take our two week vacation every year. The staff is great always very friendly always very helpful. We rent a car for a week to go out to the leward side of the island and take a taxi for the following week and go downtown and try different restaurants every night so we're not into the all-inclusive thing. But if you're bringing children with you all inclusive most definitely is the way to go. But hey who wants to bring their naughty kids with on vacation?! That's what grandparents are for!

Found this hotel after a lot of research. We loved our stay here. I would go back just for the views. Perfect room, breakfast and great views. Dive shop on site for serious divers and snorkel gear. Lots of fish to see and there is a mini natural reef in the back of the hotel. Love the swimming pool and the bar. Take a piece of bread which is what the fish want and get your camera ready!

Excellent place to stay and carry out activities with the team of Pepe Scuba. A reasonable price and good facilities. The reef and the color of turquoise crystal Water welcomes you!

It is a beautiful place, the staff is very friendly, the food is good, the room service is good, the pool is spectacular the most beautiful sunsets it has this place without a doubt. I would give it 5 stars for not being that the water in the room is not free and the Wi-Fi is not free plus it is slow the Wi-Fi connection. But definitely recommended.

Excellent place with amazing views, good food, attention and especially the location near the golf course, airport and downtown Cozumel. The happy hour and the sunset are spectacular. You could enjoy a drink by the pool, a diving class and a few steps the aquarium in front of the hotel a reef where we had fun snorkeling watching countless marine species. Definitely the best holiday!
We'll be back soon!

I have stayed her a few times over the years & have recommended it to others, but this time was VERY disappointed & frustrated. My trip over to Cozumel by boat was delayed by weather. I tried for a few hours to call and let them know — NO ANSWER. I then called the central reservations to try and communicate, they also could not get hold of the hotel to inform them of my travel delays (total time spent trying to get hold of the >2hrs). The next day I went over to have them try and honor my missed reservation ($125 US). They were unwilling and evasive to honor my full payment with a room for the next night, no refund — just BAD management decisions as to customer service. (it was not like they were sold out…!. ) Are they not bright enough to know if they honored my paid reservation by just changing the night (paid in advance) that I would spend additional money there on food, diving, etc, and ALS) come back in the future, recommend the hotel, etc. They just said SORRY — NO, then just sent me on my way. — a dissatisfied client… Terrible. My recommendation would be to STAY FAR AWAY from such a non — helpful management policy/ hotel. I will never stay at the Corral Princess again and recommend to others to stay away!. Don't get ripped off like I did. In my opinion, they are NOT the helping hospitality establishment I expect in friendly Mexico after 25 visits over 35 years. Shame on yor management-

I have stayed at the Coral Princess 7 times since 2001, and I will keep going back. The service is outstanding and the accommodations are very nice. The resort has a great dive shop and if you're not a diver, there is a coral reef wall along the shore that will keep snorkelers busy for hours. I really appreciate the Coral Princess family; many of the staff have worked there since my first visit and it's great to see familiar faces every time I stay there.

The truth the Hotel left us a lot to be desired, we went to work and while they receive you with a lot of kindness and water, entering the room and open the window facing the street shut down the mosquito net they have and almost flies out of the wind, the window all the time was sounding like it was beating by the wind, and not long ago, it was simply not well placed the window, which charge the Wifi is rude to me, being in Mexico and being Mexicans is insulting me. The food was regular and if I wanted to enter someone visiting as our guests to the pool area we were charged the whole night (that tolerated it) in short it was a bad experience and my bill 2 weeks later has not arrived.

The hotel and staff were great. But the food… There is no consistency. If you ordered the same dish two days in a row, the 2nd meal didn't look like the day before. When you ordered off of the menu and your food came it was not what the menu said it was going to be. And most of all, the food never came out hot. There was always I person in our party that was waiting on their meal. And it wasn't a short wait. It was like they overlooked the order and didn't notice until everyone else had their meal.

It's a lousy hotel with lousy service, lousy food and pesimas rooms.
The room we stayed in was dirty, broken curtains and the balcony full of spiders and cobwebs, report it and in the days we were not cleaned. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but we were only 3 months old and they took us more than half an hour, so the kitchen is inefficient and slow…
The front desk staff is rude and zero friendly which is a very bad distinctive as they are the first to deal with the guests.
One important note you should know is that the Jacuzzi service you have on the roof is extra cost.
I don't recommend it.

We have always enjoyed The Coral Princess. This is advertised online as a 5 star hotel. Do not expect this to be the equivalent of an American 5 star hotel because it is not. There are coffee makers in the rooms but if you use the provided coffee kit, there is an extra charge. There is one bottle of water but more will be an additional charge. Wifi works only in the lobby, sketchy, and is $7 per day additional charge. An American breakfast is included in the daily rate but the bill presented at breakfast has the charge on it, I carefully crossed that off. The food is ok, the on-site bar would be great fun but it closes pretty early. There's supposed to be karaoke but no one seems to be promoting it or providing access to it. Could be a draw if management put some time into promotion. There were several guests there willing to participate when we were there but…

It's a hotel that has everything you need for a honey moon. It is at the edge of the sea, super romantic and its collaborators are at the disposition to help at all times. They have a poolside bar Q I recommend to relax awhile. The pool is warm water and not so deep (good for me). If you want you can do snorker xq the sea is right in front and the water is crystal clear. Q I recommend you ask for the room Q da oceanfront for Q wake Up with a beautiful view.

The Coral Princess is more than a dive resort to us, it's family. Not only have my wife and I have been visiting the Coral Princess for over a decade, we got married there. We couldn't think of a better place to get married than surround by the beauty of our favorite dive sites, and the kind people at the Coral Princess. I really can't say enough about it. When we visit, it's like catching up with old friends. There really isn't any other place like it. Also, the location is perfect. The quiet northern end of the island is quaint, but still close enough to walk to town. You can't go wrong by staying with the kind folks at the Coral Princess when you visit Cozumel! Say hola to Pedro and Jaime for us, those guys a our amigos!

I had the best "resort" experience for the first time in my life. Everybody there treated us like princesses. Fyi. I usually stay in AirBnBs when I go on a trip. I'm so used to doing everything myself. But my stay at Coral Princess (which was a real treat! ), it was like I'm in heaven. Clean room, professionally made beds, excellent massage, etc. Living in huge cities, I know what it's like to interact with strangers or even in customer service businesses. People don't stop what they were doing and smile at others like the staffs at Coral Princess did for us. They asked us how our day was and tried to help us plan for the day as much as they could. I can tell they wanted us to have memorable times there. I really appreciate this. Thank you very much.

Spent the day there for lunch, snorkeling, and poolside cocktails. THIS PLACE IS THE PERFECT MIX and the staff were fantastic hosts. If I go back to Cozumel, I'm absolutely returning to this spot. No question.

Great service and pool, good overall atmosphere and view, ok rooms, ok food. On a budget, this hotel is fine but it’s a smaller, older hotel, but kept pretty clean. Not crowded at all so that’s a plus! Only issue was that it was further away from everywhere besides the airport. But, the island overall is not too big so at the most it took us 30 minutes.

The perfect place to relax with the amazing shades of blue that can be seen from the beach. The hotel is decorated with impeccable taste and the service is phenomenal. The recommendation is barbecue Wednesdays. Very highly recommended.

I have stayed at the Coral Princess multiple times over the years, and keep coming back. My last stay was 7 years ago, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but rest assured it was the same great staff and facility as always. I love the hotel since my wife and I do some SCUBA diving. Pepe SCUBA is literally built right into the hotel, and those guys are fantastic to deal with. And it goes without saying that Cozumel has some of the best diving in the world (I stack Palancar Reef up against anything out there — great for SCUBA or snorkeling). Although we typically dive for a couple of days, we look for a place that is comfortable just for lounging around and with a decent restaurant. The swimming directly in front of the hotel is great; I popped on my mask and snorkel and quickly found myself swimming with multiple rays, eels, puffer fish, and of course a huge variety of other tropical fish. There is a wall that the hotel is built on which has plenty of variety (no, it isn't as good as going to a full-blown reef, but there is PLENTY of sea life to observe). Our package included the American Breakfast, which was very good every day. We also had a couple of meals at the hotel, and were impressed with the portions and reasonable prices (considering the ocean location, etc. ). The rooms are crisp and clean. The views on the ocean side are fantastic. We did pay the $5 a day for wireless, which worked great (even streamed on my Firestick). Overall very highly recommended!

A very nice small and quaint hotel. We had an ocean view room, a must have to watch dolphins etc. Felt very comfortable and staff was friendly. We snorkeled right out front of the hotel, lots of fish to see. Will come back again.

This place has my heart! Family owned and run, small, personal, Pedro can find anything for you, excursions, VIP, great food… beautiful views, excellent location on the island, comfortable, peaceful… this is the place to stay.

An aquarium of 5 stars inside a 5 star hotel. A paradise for snorkeling and diving. 138 suites to 2.5 kms from the centre.

Nice hotel stayed there many times. Staring to show its age. Great staff never wanted for any think.

No internet in the rooms. You have to come down to the first floor. I think they just shut it down to force people to come downstairs.

As for the actual rooms the space is good. They are not cramped rooms and most have very decent views. As for the staff they are friendly and personable at the restaurants and beach side. However, staff running the front desk are not very personable and seem to not really care about continued business. I had a waiter spill a drink on my beach towel and the front desk manager charged me 20.00 USD upon checkout even though I explained the situation. Furthermore the waiter who had spilled the drink on towel explained to front desk but they still wanted the 20.00usd. Other complaint was my wife got a slew of bed bug bites while staying. Don't think ill be staying at this hotel again.

In time of spring breakers, this hotel is packed and it was a can able to enjoy all the services.

All is excellent, only that there are some drawbacks.

“Truly a wonderful place to stay. ” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2011 — NEW The staff is the same every year and they are great, their English is really good. We go every year and they remember our names and it is like seeing old friends. It's super family friendly because there are two pools with different depths in each pool, so the kids can wade right alongside where the parents swim. The snorkeling is good right off the hotel's pier. The rooms are super clean, the views are fantastic. The restaurant is great and is open all day, and the food in downtown Cozumel is excellent. This is the anti-Cancun, meaning there aren't any drunk college students. It's peaceful, tranquil, family oriented, with very reasonable prices and excellent value. On-site scuba shop. The taxi ride to get downtown is just a few dollars, and it's close enough that you can walk home after dinner. The only thing this place lacks is waves, but you can rent a car for a day trip to the other side of the island to play in the surf. There are surfboards to rent, but the surf is crappy. Overall, it's a perfect place for us because it's big enough to have all the amenities (restaurant, scuba, bar with pool table), but small enough that there are always empty chairs in the sand and free tables at dinner. Oh, and there's live music at happy hour every night!
