I can't go out with my car because there's no one to open the door, it's equivalent to a kidnapping, it's not worth it.
The hotel was technically closed, the nearby hotel La Pérgola is the same business and had the same person on night duty. They tried to check us in at the Pergola but rooms were musky and it didn't have parking. We insisted and got taken to the Pez Vela. The room was alright but there was no hot water, we reported the problem and it wasn't fixed by morning.

Worst ever experience. I had to leave the hotel because I was being called/extortioned. Can't prove it but I think the front desk was part of the scheme. I had to call 911 and get an escort out of hotel. Cops of Manzanillo were awesome. Were locked inside hotel and called several times to be let out. If you value your lives, don't go and visit. Also, the hotel is old!
