Best Western Ceballos Hotel Concierge Plaza Colima

Great place! Bed was a bit too hard but the location was everything, service was fantastic, hot water, very walkable place.

I love Colima so it’s difficult to write and share a bad review. However, this hotel is probably not suitable for Americans who are used to the basic American standard for hotels.
Our room, a suite, was small and cluttered. The bathroom was the worst experience. Extremely small, no hot water, very little light and an a very low toilet. The bathroom doors are almost entirely glass (see through) and was located about 12 inches from the bed.
We stayed for four days and only once did some clean the floors; which were very dirty.
The air conditioning and television was great.
The elevator made me very nervous. Not sure when the last time it was inspected.
The staff (with one obnoxious exception) was nice.
Stay in this hotel only if you are accustomed to traveling off the beaten path; otherwise you may want to consider another option.
I hope they will improve.

Rooms are very simple, but provide everything needed. Parking is available in the back of the hotel and is included. The location is very convenient. There are a number of great restaurants near by. The 2 rooftop restaurants not only provide excellent food, but also an exceptional atmosphere with a wonderful view.

We really enjoyed our visit with friends. Nice hotel, friendly staff, varied room choices right on the Plaza. Lots of church bells 🔔 but this is Mexico, we live here, expect it. Restaurants very near by. Recommend.

We had a great stay! Reception allowed us to leave our belongings with them as we arrived in the city hours prior to our check in. They check us in 2 hours before check in time with no charge. We slept well in spite of the short earthquake earlier in the day. We were initially disappointed that there was no window that can be opened in the room but we warmed up to the space. Our room was quite spacious with a queen bed. The air-condition was quiet, it was spitting out water but was fixed right away after it’s been reported. Location is great with lots of restaurants nearby. Great square across the street with lush plants and trees, birds of different kinds very active and entertaining. Our room was quiet during the night. There were leaves in the pool, we just came from a place where the pool was maintained well. Gym and weight room at the back. Staff speaks English and very helpful and friendly.

This Hotel is very disorganized. It took them 2-3 hours to check us in! The air conditioner didn’t work. They barely give you toilet paper or toiletries! The walls were dirty (I have pictures of it)! The paint on the wall is peeling! They also charged us for a very small towel because they said it was just too dirty to wash (🤦🏽‍♀️). Horrible service.

I called them and asked if there was a room with a nice view, and they told me the master suite has a nice view of the small street where they have shops. I decided to get the room even though it was more money than the garden view. When I got there I asked them again if the room had a nice view they said yes. Well it doesn't see picture! The hotel was clean but the building is old and not earthquake safe at all. Lots of noises coming from two upstairs bars and in the morning 6 am the church bells went on and then at 7 am. Lots of graffiti around the area with not so great restaurants. I'm very disappointed with this town. Looks like a high crime area with a bad reputation of narco activity. Military present all over with big machine guns. I do not recommend this place to visit or vacation. The pool is a just for look.

Outstanding staff and wonderful location. My room was clean, comfortable with everything I needed. The roof top hotel restaurant provided a beautiful sunset only to be surpassed by the food and service. The main floor / street restaurant continued with great service and delightful food.
I recommend and hope to return.

I wouldn't stay in this place for anything, our stay it was horrible, we arrived got 2 rooms in the hotel, my husband and I purchased the most expensive suite in the hotel, witch they never told us it was next to the road. So we arrived in our room and the AC it was off, and it was 95 degrees outside, but inside the room, it was probably 110 degrees. So you need the key to turn all the electricity on in the room. Ok, we were frying for awhile, night comes, we go to bed, and it sounds pretty loud outside our room, we thought the noise was going to go away later when everyone went to sleep. No way that never happened it gor lauder at night Time, so we had to get up at 12:30 half sleep to change our room, the receptionist was a total lier, she told us when we arrived that it wasn't any more rooms king size, so when my husband went to get another room they showed him 2 different king size bedroom, 1st one the AC wasn't working and we stayed in the 2nd one witch smell like cigarettes super nasty, but it was a lot more quiet. They didn't really offer a good solution, next morning I got up and ask for a refund for the difference in the room, the room they put us in the end it was super small and stinky.

Excellent treatment of all the staff that works there, the rooms are very clean, the whole family was very happy, everything is very close, it is very well located.

Terrible service, the waiter badly educated, the food was made to me as they pleased, service to very spaced guidelines, I do not return even if they invite me, I do not recommend, better look for another option to eat, I ordered a steak 3/4 and they took it well cooked and the waiter telling me that I was wrong, that the steak was at its point, cone if in my life I would eat a steak, it is pesimoooooo the restaurant and pesimoooooo the waiter.

An excellent place to spend the pleasant afternoon accompanied by the drink you decide and a great experience of flavors in their dishes both usual and their specialties.

Terrible service of the waiter, rude, he did not accept the comments made to him of the letter. Nothing to do with the care that was previously provided and the result was that we better withdraw from the place.
