I very rarely write reviews and have never given less than 5 stars. Unfortunately we had the worst check in experience of our lives (and we are seasoned travellers). We came in earlier because my partner had severe food poisoning and asked for a slightly earlier check in. The only answer was always an instant “no”. There was no attempt to alleviate the situation. My wife was called mean when we asked again after waiting for 2.5 hours and the receptionist walked away and came back after removing his name badge… All we wanted was an attempt at prioritizing the cleaning of our room or a simple invitation to wait somewhere.
2/5 stars as the hotel is very well located and the view from the room was great (although we were initially given the wrong room and had to insist on receiving the one we booked on booking. Com).
