Hotel Maculís

Nothing! Maybe location but really not an issue at all.

I received a lovely warm welcome from Christian and was very helpful throughout my stay. He provided lots of useful information about the area and events taking place. The converted colonial house has a family feel. The internal communal courtyard with plunge pool was a lovely place to relax. My room was very spacious, comfortable and quiet. The shower was great, lots of hot water. I loved the located in the very peaceful and charming neighbourhood of San Ramon, but only a short walk to the historic centre of Campeche. Everything was perfect!.
I loved everything!.

It would be a nice Hotel if they put on some effort on Maintenance, our room smelled a lot of Humidity and I felt immediatly allergy symptoms, it would be great to paint the rooms and restore it since it has a nice locations, but poor instalations and Zero Hot Water!

Hotel Maculis is a lovely home away from home in Campeche. The location and amenities are nice, but what made it extra special was the kindness of the staff!

A quirky unassuming welcoming hotel, with amenities like 24hr kitchen availability and a pool where you can do your feet to keep cool. There are also 4 turtles on the property. 😀

Bed was really small and lopsided, we did not have a nice sleep here. The hotel is not that clean, there were also a lot of mosquitoes inside. Not very comfortable, but price is really good.

This was a very nice hotel with a great backyard, pool and service. They have a kitchen with refrigerator, boiled water, sugar, coffee, tea, milk and bread available for guests with no extra cost. There is alot of free parking in the nearby streets. The odor in the lobby is really magical — we are very happy with the hotel and the service.

The staff at the Maculis were exceptional. Helpful, with excellent advice for what to do, where to go and most importantly, where to eat! The common is kitchen a very nice touch since I get up way too early and like my coffee soon after. No need to bother anyone, just help yourself. It was instant, but there was a hotel room sized coffee maker in the room as well. Bonus, there is also a mini bar in the foyer for a limited choice of adult beverages. We had a clean and comfortable room on the ground floor which was quiet and nice and dark once the shutters were closed (#7). There is a nice patio by the pool with comfortable chairs for relaxing with your coffee or in the evening with your beer. This hotel was a pleasant surprise and if you stay here and we think that you will not be disappointed. Thanks Maculis.

A very happy place a bit outside the inner city of Campeche: perfect to relax on the little pool in the patio of this very nice building. Also the service staff was very friendly and helpful and gave us a warm welcome.
The little kitchen allowed us to prepare a nice breakfast and evening snack.
Definitely a warm recommendation from our side.

Excellent place! We loved it, located in the most beautiful neighborhood of my beautiful Campeche. Waking up to the sound of church bells was truly amazing. Comfortable, pleasant, with a sense of home. I highly recommend it.

We loved the hotel we only went one night but decided to stay one more when they see this hotel do not hesitate to stay with them accept pets and have details with them. I really liked the hotel and would definitely come back.

Positive: Rooms were very nice, clean and spacious. There is a small kitchen where you can take water, juices, coffee, some fruits and pastries any time of the day! Hotel has a lovely garden with a pool providing enough of shadow during the day. Stuff is nice and friendly. Amazing tacos just at the corner. Negative: We got a room number 6 which is separated with the other room only by the door. This is the reason you can literally hear everything and I felt like we were sharing one room with out neighbours. I assume it is only the case of these two rooms and other ones are better.

This is a gem of a hotel in a quiet neighbourhood across the street from the square. They welcomed us with our dog, and the square/park is a great place to walk her. It's a boutique hotel, and beautifully maintained. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It will not disappoint!

Great boutique hotel near Malecon and centro with friendly and helpful staff. Reasonably priced, peaceful, across the street from a small and tranquilo zocalo that is near a fascinating piece of living history at the church. The only negatives are that the mattresses are very very hard and hence uncomfortable and the skylights overhead keep the room from ever being really dark (no problem at night, but the room is totally bright in the early morning, even if you prefer it to be dark). They have a pantry with goodies that are available day and night, which is really nice. We will definitely return here.

This place is so peaceful. It has a small but lovely pool and fountain. It sits nexts to a square and 500-year-old church. The neighborhood is QUIET (except for the church bells) and it is just steps away from the malecon. The rooms are clean and recently renovated. We brought our two dogs and felt very welcomed.
